Re: Your favorite quote from a song by Jay
Well.. I like "Wo Bu Pei" a lot.. "I'm Not Worthy" from the latest album, On The Run and erm.. I think it just caught me out of surprise that the translation is so good.. and meaningful..
Yep, SS you are not alone. Although I'm Chinese from Malaysia, I don't know how to read Mandarin, let alone sing and fully understand them.
So this is the quote.. right before the chorus..
The seats in the cinema
Have such a distance in between
If there isn’t a on-screen partner, it feels like playing chess on your own

Re: Your favorite quote from a song by Jay
Hi there SS!!!
You know, SS is actually the initials of our group here Stranded Society hehe so cool!!....I'm Paola from Venezuela, nice to meeting you!!
Thank you for the intro...was great, very complete!!!
I have a few quotes but the new song is so beautiful that I love the whole thing hehe...all the verses are great and the song is so meaningful so if I have to choose one song by the lyrics or just one phrase that means a lot to me, that would be the song... Dao Xiang...I can't even write just one phrase cuz the whole song is amazing.
BTW shouldn't be your nickname Mexico?? hehe

Yay! Nice to meet you, too, Paola!
Mexico? I don't think I like that nick. God, people might think I'm from Mexico.
All right, thanks for your post. I'm on the way looking for the song you mentioned.
Cheers,

Are you intending to learn Mandarin? I was trying to learn how to read the romanization (?! I mean things like "wo bu pei") so that I can somehow sing along. :P
It might be hurtful when those lyrics match our own cases. Luckily, I haven't been through any sad things or even a relationship.

Re: Your favorite quote from a song by Jay
You might find me quite ridiculous for saying this, but in the song "Zhou Da Xia" during the part where he says, "I don't sell tofu." Ahaha...
I believe that was a run on sentence, but I do not know how to refrase that. >__< I think I spelled "refrase" wrong too....

Re: Your favorite quote from a song by Jay
I love the part he sings "Aiyoh?" in Red Imitation(Hong Mo Fang) because it needs no translation, it just sounds so funny and cute-in-a-way

Re: Your favorite quote from a song by Jay
You are just like me, SS. It was Nocturne that made me fell for Jay. It was 2 years ago when i finished the univ exam i started to look for some entertainment as i concentrated in studying for a long time, several months, and didn't listen to any music or watch TV. At that time i read about Jay on local news (vietnamese) that him working very hard as a composer and he even lived in the studio attracted me (a lie, actually it was his cool pics that attracted me) then i began to search for his songs, and the first song i heard was Ye qu, then instantly became his fan after listening to that song.
I lived in sai gon and now in brisbane, 19. where are you from, SS?
