[Movie] Ice Age2: The Meltdown
The Ice Age is coming to an end, and the animals are delighting in the melting paradise that is their new world. Manny, Sid, and Diego quickly learn that the warming climate has one major drawback: a huge glacial dam is about to break, threatening the entire valley. The only chance of survival lies at the other end of the valley. So the three heroes, along with a mammoth named Ellie and her two "brothers" -- possums Crash and Eddie -- embark on a mission across an increasingly dangerous landscape towards their salvation.
i just seen it today, it was nice, funny and cute. tho i dont remember much of the first one, so i dont know if this one is better or not... but still i recommend it, its good! plus funny with that animal Scrat and his love for his nut.
SO anyone seen it? did you guys thought it was better than the first one?

Re: [Movie] Ice Age: The Meltdown
I've seen the movie in the evening and I find it rather amusing. But comparing it to the first one, I think the first one is better. And can anybody tell me what in the world is that creature that is under the water that preys on them?

Re: [Movie] Ice Age: The Meltdown
I've watched this movie on the first day when it was being screen in theatre and it was really a good animation movie... from the plot of the story to the animation and sound effect... everything just matches so well together... good job done man!! whahahha!! one of my favourite scene is when that animal (till now i've not figure out wat that is) which was always trying so hard to get his acorn from the beginning of the show till the end, the part where it tries to get his acorn from the swamp of fish... that's just so funny. and it didnt come to my mind that this little animal which is only interested in its acorn will actually save all these animals from the flood. haha... that's just such a good way to end it all!! i was like this animal save the day!! haha... nice movie!! i'll give it a 4/5 rating as no show is 100% perfect... i'll be most happy if there's a Ice Age3... i believe it will be as good as the previous two... hehe!!
P/S: people who have not watch this movie should catch it up in theatre soon!! don't wait for the DVD to be out on sales cause the feel will be different!! haha...

Re: [Movie] Ice Age: The Meltdown
i think Scrat, the animal always chasing his acorn, is an ancestor to a squirrel
dunno why, but to me sometimes with the scenes of Scrat gettin his nut, is kinda random, like his action is just to make us laugh and then it go back to the story of the movie. tho they still all makes sense..

Re: [Movie] Ice Age: The Meltdown
How long was the movie ? I am not too keen to watch cartoons/animation at the theatre because most of the time, they're like MAX 1 hours

Re: [Movie] Ice Age: The Meltdown
I'm planning to see ice age 2 over this coming weekend before my spring break is over. Ice age 1 is really good and funny imo, and i didn't actually watch it in theater, i watch it while i'm on my way to HK with my family on a plane 2 yrs ago, so i was really glad that there's something fun to watch on the plane back then. Though, it kinda get boring, after the people on the plane play the same movie over and over again with some other 2 or 3 movie.
