his compositions are exceptional but his voice is unique - a untrained n emotive quality that suits his own creations- esp raps ( dad , i m back etc ) n chinese classical styles songs( chrystenteum terrace etc.)

yeah i can recognize his songs anyday
if we go to a chinese restaurant or oriental shop and one of his songs starts, my ears will perk up immediately XD
i think it's cos his voice is distinctive + has his own type of music/melody/rhythm. i can even tell if it's him singing or not when i have never heard of the song before
