Well... The American kid who travels back to ancient China for kungfu training with two masters (Jet Li and Jackie Chan) is kind of funny...
There will always be something funny every few minutes... Haha!
There are also thrilling fight sequences!!
Besides that, I find this movie interesting...
Before I watched this movie, I thought it was another boring show.. I dont know why but ya...
But when my friend force me to watch it with her, I find that I was totally wrong! This movie was not like it seem! It was so totally cool!! Hehe!
I really love all those martial art and kungfu parts... Haha!
Last but not least, the actors kind of suit this movie!
And the ending is for you to find out yourself! Haha!

I loved this movie. I went in not knowing to expect...well I expected greatness from Jackie Chan and Jet Li, but I didn't know what to expect plot-wise. And I was really surprised. The two make an excellent duo, though I can see why they've never been in the same movie together all these years. The two have such different personalities and fighting styles that it would've taken alot of extra work on the director's part to accommodate them both.

I applaud the director for being able to focus on them both as well as the the other ale character and maintaining a balance. My favorite part of this movie however has to be from Jet Li's side. If you're a Jet Li fan you know (at least in his American movies) that his smiles are rare and his laughter is even more rare. (Compared to say...Jackie Chan) He's pure action, usually playing either a very calm person or a very angry one. So seeing him in such a loose and comedic role is a real treat.

So yeah...I'd recommend this to everyone. It got annoying watching the other male character (I forget his name) *looks* Oh, Jason...well it got annoying watching Jason during the whole"I'm falling in love with you blah blah" phase of the movie which was like 2/3 of the movie, but it wasn't a huge mar on the film and it's a typical thing to happen- yeah? So overall I rate it a solid 8/10

im sorry, might be a little biased but...
FREAKING LIU YIFEI IS IN IT
pretty much made the movie an automatic winner to me, then you add the amazing duo of jet li and jackie chan and you have gold. the main character (racially; the white kid) was kinda annoying and didn't seem necessary in this genre of movie.

why not? its so completely true though. he's the typical american kid who is obsessed with chinese martial arts. i thought the concept was really honest. (maybe because he reminded me of myself) so i think the movie wouldn't be complete without the kid in it.

one word for this movie.. CHEESE!! haha

i thought the overall concept of the movie was interesting and good, but the dialogue in the movie was ssSSOOooOo cheesy it made me sick.. it seemed like they were trying to aim at really deep and meaningful and full of chinese wisdom, but just came of as bad translations that sounded like it came from fortune cookies.. i.e. ' you must go through the gate of no gate'

the fight scenes were good and it was visually beautiful, but i doubt that would be enough for me to want to watch it again..

I loved this movie, I was watching the mummy 3 around the same time and found this one had a much better plot, I thought it was a pretty awesome concept with it being the kid's point of view and his love of martial arts, it was pretty cool that they used a white kid to portray this character, this actaully remindedme of another movie I saw when I was younger about 3 brothers as ninjas, they were white but their grandfather was asian.

it actually reminded me more of the karate kid, rather than 3 ninjas
