what's the "d" stand for on jay's necklace from l.a press conference?

if any of you guys saw pictures of jay's press conference in l.a, if you noticed the necklace he wore had an initial "d". does anyone happen to know or can take a guess to what the "d" stands for? i was thinking it meant "diao" since thats what jay's all about. what do you guys think? heres a pix in case you havent seen a pic yet:

Maybe it's the 'd' in Initial D? that's what i think...i'm not sure though :D

I guess he bought every initial and just were whichever he likes. He was wearing a K initial at the LA concert btw.

my guess is that it probably stands for a lot of things together.
2. D diao de hua li (grandeur de D major, but literally translation as low profile splendor)
3. Initial D

so many Ds in his life. that's probably why he wears it.

but i don't think it stands for 'Diao' though, coz jay says it in chinese. he might not know it's spelt as 'Diao' in english. (just a guess!)

i think it means "diao" since its his word and all...he wore the k necklace at the ct east coast concert too and he threw it out to the audience, i got the 128 tickets, they were bleacher seats and only the floor seats got the nunchucks and necklace :...(

my initial response was diao..but I agree that he may not know the English romanization of diao3. It's propbably jsuta fashion thing, like a few have said

I think there are 3 possibilities........
one, the 'd' represents Initial D......, 2nd, It represents DIAO, 3rd, it represents his book Granduer D Major!!

erm.. this is going to sound lame.. but maybe he misses his dad? so he put on a D to represent the word "dad" then in this way no one will know cuz' will everyone thinks it stands for Diao, intial D and the D for his book.. =P haha.. just a thought of words...

i highly doubt it means "dad" because jay doesnt know english let alone, know that dad is the english meaning of "ba ba" [father in chinese] and yeah.. there's no D in ba ba, lol.

i guess the necklace is just another random accessory jay owns.. cuz we all know jay wears pretty random stuff [*ahem* all the crazy flower patterns, lol] but maybe he really is just tryna have the hidden meaning of "diao" or grandeur in D major or initial d

It would also be spelt as "diao" in Chinesebecause this is the pin yin form of the chinese character. They all know pinyin.
