i really cant think of the perfect adjectives to describe how i felt during that concert..but that cocnert totally rocked!!!! it was CRAZINESS, and of course jay was soooo hottt!!!!

well lemme try to recap the 1am concert

it started around 1:15ish. me and my friends got inside the arena and in our fabulousssssss 3rd row aisle seats around 12:15, so i had an hour to inspect the front area around the stage..cuz i bought a big pretty bouquet of flowers and a cap for him, so i was thinking of a way to give them to him. but they blocked a big section away from the stage so it was really impossible to reach anywhere near the stage. they did this on purpose cuz i heard the manager say to the security guards "remember! NO FLOWERS and NO PRESENTS at ALL, whatsoever!!!!!" that asshole, he took my tape away too, oh wells, like i care. so i begged the security guards like crazy cuz i reallllly wanted to get the cap to him at least, but they were so stoic about it. i almost started cryinggggg :cry:

so i thought that my whole plan wouldnt work out nemore, and i basically gave up hoping that some kinda miracle could happen... :dry: so concert started, excitement, screaming, jumping, pix taking, waving, etc and i still couldnt believe jay was standing RIGHT INFRONT OF ME, SINGING!!!! like 2 ft away....that was freaking hot!!!! i thought the list of songs he sang were diff from the LA concert..

then one big thing happened during the song "kun shou zhi dou" the one with the sword playing..well he tried to be close to the crowd, so he stood on the edge of the stage, then he actually tried to walk on the barrier/fence which was like at MOST 1.5 inches in width, he tried to balance while singing and waving to the fans, and JAY FELL!!!!!!!!!!!!!! oh my goodnesssssss!!!!! he fell off but he didnt stop singing at ALL, and jus got up and tried to climb back on to the stage, by that time he was inside this area where they blocked off btw 1st row and the stage, so nobody could go in there to help him up, he jus got up and tried to climb back up, and HE FELL AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!! i feel so bad for our lovely and poor jay, but he was sucha professional singer, cuz he didnt stop singing or performing and jus kept going, but he had this really cute/adorable facial expression like "oops! that was kinda funny..." and he was laughing while rapping, i dunno how he managed to do that but he was sooooo cool about it....

ok so here comes the excitement!!! :excited: :excited: :excited: after the sword playing part, jay took off his jacket and had a black shirt underneath, and then he sang a slow song, i forgot the name again -___- this time he came to the edge of another side of the stage, so i ran to that side cuz its closer and easier for me, and i jus kept taking pix...all of a sudden i saw this LONG arm reaching over my head from behind me, and that arm was holding my CAP!!!!!!!! i was like "what the heck!?!?!" and i realized its my bf, trying to help me give my cap to jay...cuz my bf is like 6'3...so he stood out from the crowd of all the girls trying to reach for him....and i saw that this is a reali good opportunity, so i got up on a chair and stood out even MORE!!!! and i was like "JAY, TAKE THIS CAP!!! ITS FOR YOU!!!!! TAKE IT!!" and he jus looked at the cap, and he realized both my hand and my bf's hand were holding the cap, so he smiled at my bf and took the cap!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OH MY GOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i almost fainted afterwards, cuz i was like "omg jay took my cap, jay took my cap!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" i was sooooo satisfied with it hahahahah i felt like theres a purpose in life now.....hahahaha lols and all the credit goes to my bf, sean! he's the best :love:

i thought that giving him the cap was already beyond miraculous, since he didnt take anything from the fans throughout the concert so far. but my bf even suggested to give the flowers to him..i was like "thats impossible!!!!!" then he said "i'll make anything possible! jus watch!!" and he really did!!!!!!

if you were at the 1am concert and saw the bouquet that jay took and held for a few mins during the encore "simple love" yup THOSE FLOWERS WERE MINE!!! it was even funnier getting the flowers to jay..haha since it was the encores, we ran up to the fences infront of 1st row, and jay sat RIGHT infront of us at the edge of the stage...and i stood on the chair on the 1st row and held up the flowers with my bf's help again. we waved them at him and he didnt take it first, he jus looked at us and smiled. but later my bf tried to push thru the ppl to the front even more, and jay slowly got off his seat, slowly walked toward the stage and stepped off the edge of the stage to reach out for the flowers...i have a pic of that too!!!!!!!!!

this is soooooooooooooooooo wonderfullllllll!!!!!!!!!! i think the only things that he personally accepted from the audience are: a cap, a bouquet of flowers, and a scarf. and 2 of those 3 are mine!! i feel sooooo spesho!!! god it makes me smile like crazy when i think of it right now. i'll put up the pix as soon as i can, i really wanna share them with you guys!!!!!

hope the ppl that are going to the 2pm concert have a BLAST there!!!!

xii_piggie_iix: goodness..i guess the security was pretty scrict then? Because the LA concert, no one barely cared and they really couldnt do anything about it since there were so many crazy fans.anyways...AHHHH! WOW! You really were close to the stage then and your bf was really sweet of helping you giving your presents to jay! How sweet is that? :love: You are one lucky girl! did you touch his hand by any chance? if you did, you could of just grabbed him down with you. what kind of songs did he sing at his concert? dancing? piano? was nan quan mama there? i must know all the little details, yes i know im annoying but i cant HELP it! all jay concerts are the BEST and i must know everything even if i was there or not. HE FELL OFF?! aww...did he get injured? probably not..dont worry he's ALIVE cause he's still singing..thats funny.silly jay.:joke: he probably felt embarrassed about it, but he always keeps his cool going.:cool: THATS OUR JAY! He doesnt care what happens to him..(oh,wait he does..):tongue: just wants his fans to be happy and have a wonderful time! So, you got your wish..all your presents were thrust upon on jay. :excited: Now he'll remember you! he'll remember this lovely girl giving him bouquet and a cap.:flowers: Whenever he wears it (see it on tv,pictures,magazines,newspaper...etc), you can scream out: OMG! JAY'S WEARING MY HAT!! (by the way, what kind of hat was it?) I cant wait to see all your WONDERFUL pictures!! Im so glad you had FUN and an AMAZING time at his concert!

Jay actually laughed at himself about falling off the stage after the song finished. Assuming I heard him correctly (I am awful at Mandarin, I am more of a Cantonese girl), he said he did the same thing when he was rehersing for the show. I feel bad for Jay though, he got hit by glowsticks during encore. I think that was really rude and it wasn't the appropriate way to show the fans' love for Jay. i hated the part about the glowsticks...wth!??? would someone be proud to say "yayyy!!!! my glowstick hit jay RIGHT IN THE FACE man!" thats jus ridiculous.....plus. i was right at the fence during encores so i got hit when it was raining glowsticks too...lol

JAY_LUVER: he sang all the songs from "Qi Li Xiang", except [to my surprise] the song Qi Li Xiang. i thought that was a must. but oh well..i love that song too..and he didnt sing "wo de di pan" but everything else, he sang. he also sang: anjing, tordano, black humor, red bean[faye wong], love me dont leave[zhang zhen yu], go back to the past, you can hear it, in the name of father, xing qing, sunny day, ninja, nunchucks, grandpa's tea, double sword. thats all i can recall now..im sorrie if i left out some, cuz i havent had sleep since 2 days before the concert...haha xP

i actually realllly liked the nan quan ma ma performance, maybe its cuz i loved their songs to begin with. Yu Hao stood in front of me when they sang and he looked like sucha quiet and shy and nice little boy, he was really polite too...he smiled and waved at the fans that screamed his name. i like him! =] jay didnt dance too much, the most dancing he did was for the song "jiang jun". he played piano for sunny day, black humor, and an jing. then he did the typical duet with Yu Hao!

i also remember what he said after he fell....when the song ended he was like "well i tried to walk on that thing cuz i wanted u guys to all stand up, u know???" so all of a sudden the crowd got CRAZY and thats when he was close to us and thats when i gave him the cap :D

xii_piggie_iix: Wow! im surprised that he didnt sing Qi Li Xiang. That song is the most popular song on his album but its all good since he sang majority of the songs in his other albums. Yeah, I remember after the La concert I couldnt sleep and all I was thinking about was JAY. It took me FOREVER to fall asleep. My sister said I was crazy,but hey! if you are obsessed about jay how can you not be crazy about him! Plus, it was my first concert, so I LOVED it! That day was an AMAZING day and yeah, i BET no one will ever forget about it,unless you are wierd.:prop:. Took me days to get over him and since im reading your stories over and over,im thinking and missing him again. Now, it will take me a month of so to forget about him. Yeah, im obsessed (just like everyone else.) :excited:. so basically all the concerts were the same (kind of). yes, Yu Hao (frodo) is a very quiet and a shy person. when he hit the piano i was like :shock:. But it was soo AWESOME! YAY!

oooohhh i remembered more about the concert...sorrie that i keep leaving out these details...its prob im too excited now SORRY!! =[

u guys know the K necklace that he wore for previous concerts?? or at least im sure he wore it in the LA one, he threw that to the audience!!!!!! and he also threw his nunchucks to the audience....lucky ppl to catch them...!! he threw it realli far back tho. so it would be impossible for me to get them neways!

but we didnt have things like goody bags that the LA concert had. :dry:

xii_piggie_iix -- ah, the goody bags weren't really anything. the only thing worth grabbing outta those bags were 1) the bag itself and 2)this little booklet of pictures of jay. the other stuff was like. "swab plus! clean up your scars!!!!" and stuff like that

hey you know what. my nephew is so horrible, he threw the glowsticks and it hit jay in the leg. he also told me that since the glowsticks were going out of control (in the 1 am concert) and it hit jay and the glosticks were all over the place. The people aren't selling the glowsticks anymore..so if you are in the 2 pm concert i dont think you'll be allowed to have glow sticks. is this true? thats unfair for the other people who are going to the 2 pm concert. people are too carried away with glowsticks.tsk...tsk...tsk. i knew something like this would happen..-.-

i actually have a clip of him singing and holding the flowers (from my far far far away seats) and i was thinking wow, i'd faint with happiness if he was cuddling my flowers and crooning away!!!!!!!!!

and you're so lucky to have seen everything UP CLOSE!!!!
i mean, i kinda saw him slipping, but i was so far away it wasn't very clear.....
all i have is a short clip of him talking about falling, and not breaking his leg...

but the concert was FANTASTIC!!!!!!!!!! i'm still in a daze...!!!!!!!!!

That picture is sooo LOVELY! He must be soo happy! you took pictures with the watefall and lava? that was in new york as well?! if it was, WOW! Nice scenary and christmas tree. :happy: and I noticed that his clothes were the same as in the LA concert. And that picture of Yu Hao is soo cute! he's all looking down...mr.shy guy. yea im really glad he isnt injured..luckily he fell towards the left [stage side], if he fell towards the right, he'd be ON THE GROUND..right infront of the audience' feet, and ppl would be stepping all over him cuz they'd wanna touch him...can u guys imagine that?????? oh my goodness...and all the girls would be like "I VOLUNTEER TO GIVE HIM CPR!!!!!!!!!!" HAHA

Ahhhhh, I was there too! at the 1am concert, IT was a blast. I stood up on the chairs and the security yelled at me :oops: It was the best xmas gift. I waved to him, he saw me!, so he waved back, lol. i got Row N seats, section 2, awesome. I have alot of pictures, but had to delete some, cause it wouldn't fit into my digital camera! argh. My friend watched the 2 pm concert, he said there's this VIP dinner with JAY, OMG, i can't believe i can't go. stupid parents. :-x hahah. My friend said he's gonna try to get his autograph, and if he can call me to talk with me on the phone, but i don't think that's gonna happen, it's getting late, and no call yet.
I can't get over this, i miss him so much, and it's not even a day yet. :cry:
i'm listening to his music right now.

yea..those stupid securities are soooooo annoying....they keep telling ppl to go back to their seats..i mean..what the hell..dont you see that we DONT CARE about what u say to us right now???? pschhh...when i moved from 3rd row to the center of 1st row i stood on the chair too haha

yea theres usually always a vip dinner after the 2pm show. the manager comes out and personally invites the vip ppl, usually in the first 2 rows. =\

wow, it sounds like the east coast concert was better than the west coast one.. i cant belive he threw that K neckalce to you guys! i couldnt he throw it in LA, but not like i had a chance catching one in the balcony...

the glow sticks actually hit jay? in la, there were some close ones, but i dont think he got hit anywhere

why didnt he sing Qi Li Xiang? that's like one of the biggest songs on the new album :?

i think jay is trying to think of different ideas what to do at his concerts. For the LA concert, he threw the nunchuks,free goody bags (but nothing really special about it except the bag itself), and we got to touch his hand! In the east concert, you guys had a VIP dinner (which is so unfair and LUCKY! for the people that went.), he threw the necklace and nunchuks. so, i guess its all the same? ahh..for the LA concert I bought the VIP tickets and there wasnt no VIP party...how sad.Is the afterparty (like the LA one) like a VIP dinner? but thanks for the pictures and the clip,roche! its soo funny and i can hear you screaming at the end! :happy:

im glad he didnt get injured at the end. *whew* (but i still think the east coast concert sounded much more fun)

i just got back from nyc, i went to the ct concert with my cousins and brother and sis, but i went to the 1am one, which not alot ppl seem to have went according to the other thread, that was my first jay concert and i really enjoyed it, but i wished that the ppl would be more enthusiastic especially for naq que ma ma(sry cant spell) they would good but ppl didnt really cheer for them :( yea jay threw out the necklace, i was too far to have a chance, i got the 128 tickets, and he threw the nunchucks too, i was dissappointed that he didnt sing qlx or grandma, but he was good, there was a vip dinner?! wow u guys are so lucky to go if u did!!!! i thought the santa was gonna throw some stuff out but he didnt, hey for the ppl who went to the 1am concert, did we get 2 encores??? i forgot, i started screaming encore and then everyone else did and im glad we got it
about 5 mins before 1am the arena wasnt even full, i was scared that it isnt gonna be a soldout show and the company may not want to have another east coast concert but when the concert started at 1:10 the place was packed!!

yup we had 2 encores...first one he sang xing qing and love me dont leave, the last battle and the second one he sang ninja and nunchucks

i cheered sooo much for nan quan ma ma. i realllllly liked them to begin with. i was doing their moves with them along with my friends. and yu hao was sooo cute, he saw us and he waved so politely hahah

yea nqmm was really good but hardly anyone cheered for them, i started feeling bad even though i screamed my lungs out for them too,yea yu hao was soo cute, he can play the piano really good, for the ppl who went to the 2pm concert, how was it different from the 1am one?

i felt sooooo happy when he took my flowers too, i kept my eyes on the girl who tried to give him flowers on the left for a long time, and i was thinking "oh man..its probably impossible to give him the flowers, i shud just be satisfied that he took my cap" but i can NOTTT believe he came off the stage to take my flowers and HELD IT IN HIS ARMS for so long!!!...*sigh so touched :cry: although i still think that all the credit goes to my bf, without his help, jay probably couldnt reach my flowers neways lol

i heard that he picked an audience to sing with him on the stage. thats probably one major difference. and the glowsticks did ended up being banned...i feel so bad...=\

where are the 2pm concert ppl??? come back to us!!!! ;P

i think throwing glowsticks is a mainland thing to do? because i read that in one of the news articles found on jcnet..maybe it's a cultural thing to throw glowsticks when they like the performance!

anyway, where is everyone? the concert should be over by now! it seems like LA was more intimate though. i think the shrine auditorium (looking at seating maps and a few pictures) has a pretty good view from every angle. i'm thinking the VIP dinner is just a dinner with some execs or whatnot, not for VIP ticket fanholders (unless they are the execs).

yeah the 2 pm concert had someone go upstage with him to sing xing qing (im pretty sure it was) and they actually did banned the glowsticks, so that was unfair for the people going to the 2 pm concert. I mean i dont think they should of banned it,but then why would you throw glowsticks, to hit our lovely jay?! if it was to hit jay just for laughs that is so rude and that doesnt show our love for jay.pshh... if he wasnt on stage i mean i guess you can throw them,but i still recommend you not to, it could really injure someone with thousands of fans throwing glowsticks at you. I hope the people in the front that got hit are okay and same goes to jay (with the falling and glowsticks attacking him). c'mon people, post more stories. :happy:
kewlpiggy88: yeah, the shrine was small,but from every angle you could see jay perfectly. So, i like the shrine a lot but it was just crowded and cramped.
how did the VIP dinner go? did jay have a meet and greet session or autographs or any event like that?
but all you lucky New York people still get to see jay since he'll be staying there till New Years. L-U-C-K-Y!!

omg just got back from the 2pm concert!! wow traffic was terrible.. but onto the real story:

OOMG OMG OMG A VIP PARTY!?!?! gahhhhh it was bad enuf my aunt didn't get us extermemly good tix like she made it seem, but I MISSED A VIP DINNER??? WAHHHHHHH lol

wow piggie!! your sooooooooo lucky!!! so close to the front, and got in contact w/ him twice!!!

my seats werent that good but managed to get decent pix. i aws kind of disappointed coz he only sang like 20 songs, and 1 encore, and the security was really tight! i was in around section 17, row a seat 4 and it wasn't that great of a view... near the end tho i finally was like ' ive had enuf.. gotta see jay CLOSER' and went up naer the front past the security :excited:

yea for the 2pm one they ddin't allow us to have anyglow stix which was really dissapointing.. and i didn't like where i was sitting coz so many old ppl lol (well middle aged) so whenever me /my friend yelled they'd give us a strange look.. and i noticed alot of the ppl in the $128 seats were like, all JUST SITTING THERE! i was sooooo jealous of the floor ppl coz they seemed to be the only ones acutally INVOLVED in the concert... but i did my thang and waved my friend's cellphone/my digi cam and yelled during the quiet parts lol...

but it was really cool coz he invited a person to go up and sing and the guy was pretty good! and he got a free signed poster aftewards!

unfortunately he didn't sell any souvenirs... but OMG i saw someone from my school who was WORKING there coz she had a jay tshirt and i was like OMG if only i knew her better lol

***sigh***** 2 more years until his next tour. :oops: .. i am SOOOOO not cheaping out next time.

well its an avi file so windows media player should work....
its not that big a deal, its just that i thought he sounded real cute when he said "my leg didn't break" :-)

kamui: i remember when i was screamin my head off and these older people gave me some wierd look too..i was like 'WHAT ARE YOU LOOKING AT?!' haha. oh it was a guy, i thought it would be another girl. i think jay wanted a guy for a change instead of girls hugging him. he got a FREE SIGNED POSTER?! -dies- that sucks in LA we didnt even have anything.oh who cares. why am i complaning..its over already. :tongue:. they didnt sell souvenirs?! thats wierd. I thought they were going to sell it at every concert since majority of the people will actually buy things and they can earn a lot of money off of that. someone at school was working there?! wow. lucky her! she probably got free jay stuff. lucky people.

omg that concert was sooo coool!! but yea wen i was in line this dude kept saying nooo glowsticks..like 10 MILLLION times. it was verry annoying. especially wen you hear the same thing over and over for about two hours. i think the 2pm was a lil emptier than it was supposed to be b/c the last 5-6 rows that were actually on the floor were really empty and they were still selling $128 tickets at the front. but he did sing 'qi li xiang' at the later one..but not 'garden tour club' or 'excuse' which i was relaly reallly looking forward to. guess that means i'll have to go to both jay concerts next time and be in the front. i loved how he picked somebody to go up and sing! i wud've sooo gone up there but i'd demand a hug too xP still so hyper about the concert, i lost my voice and then got it baq and lost it again. oh wellz, all in the name of love...JAYYYYY love =]

i wish i live in nyc, i would wait at all the famous museums for jay since hes most likely to take his mom to those art ones, if u do see jay with his mom, u would be soooooo lucky!!!! maybe u can get a pic or something, but i dont think us fans shouldnt disturb his vacation too much

I got on the bus at 845AM and got there around 1045? Then bummed around the casino with my cousin until about 12ish and we saw Jay's dancers and chatted with them and then saw a Jay look-alike then at about 1ish they let us in. I snuck a glowstick in and the sign that my cousin made, lol sorry if we blocked you guys ^_^" We made our own t-shirts too, oh and we were screaming mad loud >>; *<3JAY* That was awesome, I'm so jealous of the guy that go to go onstage with Jay to sing Xing Qing T_T;

i attended the 1am concert w/ 2 of my cousins, and we all enjoyed it!! my cousins aren't jay fans, but they still thought he performed well... at first i thought him falling was part of the performance, but then realized it wasn't when he fell again... i think i would've enjoyed the concert more if i were closer.. he was like 3 inches tall from where i was sitting :cry: ... but, i did come out $1800 richer!!!

omg. i cant describe how the concert was yesterday (i went to the 2pm one). it was CRAZY, OMG, AWESOME, EXCELLENT, GREAT, COULDNT HAVE BEEN BETTER,WILD! LOL

so at around 1 oclock my mom and i started lining up to get into the arena, and this STUPID ASS DUDE kept repeating in mandarin "no food, no water, NO GLOW STICk(!!),pleaseform 2 lines" and a whole bunch of shit, the girl next to me was getting pissed and kept saying "oh shut up already" haha...then we all started going in, and we were REALLY CLOSE to the stage!! 5th row! (kinda like 3rd row...but yea...its 5th) and had a really nice view. then we waited and waited....and i saw JAY'S MOM!!!!!!! she was working with the crew, and she walked in and out of the backstage place...i was like OMG JAY'S MOM! LOL buh where's jay?! then dianilla came up to me and said hi. hehe...she was the only JC member i saw. then the concert FINALLY started at almost 2:15 or so, kinda late huh? lol but its all good! first, the big screen started showing the band's name and stuff, then "IN THE NAME OF THE FATHER" started playing, and OMG WE WERE WILD!. i've never seen mohegan so packed in my life! the WHOLE arena was FULL. and here comes jay and we all screamed on the top of our lungs, it was like CRAZY! lol and after a lot of singing/dancing/changing his guest stars came out...whats their name again? lol and then on the guest's 2nd song, jay came out with a purple shirt and pants (er....) and started singing, then it was PIANO TIME!! he sang tornado and some other songs....and then one of the dudes from the guest band came out and started playing with him. OMG THAT WAS TOTALLY AMAZING (of course the audience was going CRAZY) LOL... oh and jay also played the flute, and he was BEATBOXING! omg, that was like totally HOT!
Jay also sang a little verse of a song in canto...it was cute. and he keep asking in canto "wheres the bathroom?" LOL.. mad funny. so cute. hmm....what else? oh, he asked a guest up to sing, pretty funny, but that lucky dude got a freaking AUTOGRAPHED cd from jay. grrr..... and towards the begining of the concert, they played clips of when jay was little, such a talented little kid. :] jay kepted coming close to the edge of the stage, and the fans from the back all RAN up and i kinda did too, and THEY PUSHED ME DOWN! ROAR! but after a few times of running up, the fat secruity pushed them all back. hahah....thank god i was sitting in the front, and got some pretty good pics. then it was sword time, pretty hot. and at the very end [encores] we all started screaming "ZHOU JIE LUN! ZHOU ZIE LUN!" and jay had a dude backstage recording EVERYTHING and i saw him record that part. hehehe for personal viewing i guess :P then jay came out sang a song (sorry i forgot what song, cuz there were too many songs) and went back in, then he did another encore and sang QI LI XIANG!, and we were WILD! EVERYONE stood up on chairs and sang along, it was amazing. i know a missed a lot of parts, but im still very excited, thats all i remember for now.

when i was goin home. i was about the KILL MYSELF, the bus took 5-6 hours to get back to brooklyn cuz of the snow and traffic ... 5+ HOURS!!

Yes.. I went to th 2pm Concert and I must say, this is the first time I've ever attended a Chinese concert..and Jay sang SO well!! It was probably the best concert I've been to ever (comparing to my American concerts, I mean)! I didn't get to sit in great seats (Sect 20, row 5-6) but it was an unobstructed view of Jay. He was SO hot. He played the flute .. the piano.. he rapped freestyle.. his clothes were SO diao.. When he sang Double Sword, he had the coolest dance routine/costume.

Towards the end, I didn't care about security and ran to the front (I mean FRONT FRONT) and watched him sing the encore (Nunchuks).. He was probably a foot away from me!!! Not bad for $88 seats!! =D

YES, when he comes to NY again, I will DEFINITELY not penny pinch on the seats.. His concert was AWESOME!!!

OMG.. talk about the LONGEST bus ride of my life back!!?!?!?? On our way home, it literally took us 5.5 hrs to get back to C-town. I hadn't eaten since 1pm (got back at 11:15pm), hadn't drank since 1pm.. I was SO thirsty I almost broke open a window to lick the ice!! The lady was SO mean too.. we asked if we could make a pit stop at a McD's ..but she was like.. "NO stopping till we get to CHINATOWN.." Nightmare, I tell ya.. BUT it was WORTH IT!!!

did he do beatboxing for the other concerts too??? as in, in taiwan, singapore etc????

oh and travelling in the snowstorm must have sucked big time.....
i was greeted by it when i first got back, but at least it was the beginning....i think there are at least 6 inches of snow out now!

yes OMG, it was an amazing concert! I felt a bit akward being the only non-asian there but I think everyone got a bit surprised when I shouted "Wo Ai Ni JAY!" At the top of my lungs. haha. I also got really close seats I was 10th row so that wasn't too bad. AHHH!!! THE CONCERT WAS AMAZING!!! i went to the 2pm onee...got home at 11pm -_-..i thought during the beginning of the concert, the atmosphere wasn't that good (not excited enough : /) but during the end, when everyone rushed to the front of the stage, it was intense!! i had pretty good seats (section 2 row m, towards the aisle) and i ran up to the stage with my friend (in my avatar) 3 times, but the third time we just stayed (sorry for crowding, but everyone was pushing~!) we got so close to jay and during qi li xiang, he was singing to the group crowded in front of the stage and he pointed to us!!!! ahh!!! he was so hot in person, and i couldn't believe how well he performed..everything sounded good, even his beatboxingg..ahah..(he took a break in the middle of beatboxing and sayd "wo yao shang chi shuo" -i have to go to the bathroom-..it was so cutE!!) anyways..my camera ran out of batteries toward the middle of hte concert, and my zoom wasn' thtat good so i didn't get that many good pics..but i loved yu hao from nan quan mama and gary..and dan tou tooo!! i was so surprised when they came out! ah!!!!! i can't believe i got so close to him!!! i definitely don't regret buying the 168 dollar tix..just that next time..i will def. order them earlier so i get closer seats!!!!!

well.....the thing is, i wasn't sure if it was really her.
coz we planted ourselves right at the entrance of the arena, and this lone woman walked out.
she looked REALLY familiar, but i asked my friend and she was like "you crazy fangirl. you're imagining things."

but she was all alone, and i could totally have mobbed her, ahhhh!!!!
or at least greeted her. that would have been nice. but i think she's supposed to be kinda shy and low profile. don't think she'd have appreciated me sparking off a frenzy, haha....
there were tons of crazy fans around too, all of us planting ourselves in front of the arena doors waiting to get in.....3 hours before the show :angel:

Yes, the glowsticks were banned from 2pm, but a few people about, 5 still had some..
Jay picked a boy to go upstage and sing with him, ahhh he was touching the boys arms, the boy was sitting on the right side.. Jay was VERY talkative, he talked after almost every song. He jumped down alot and reached for a lotta hands. I was about to jump of the balcony.. but fortunally I didnt. I have pics with Jay and the lucky boy I will post in a little while. After the boy sang, Jay said he did a good job and would give him an autograph picture. Some gifts that Jay accepted were a teddy bear, i think a poster thingy? I was a little dissapointed thou, he did not sing a lot of songs from Qi Li Xiang, and .. he didnt sing Qian Tian :cry: I think we got 2 encores, Qi Li Xiang and Nun Chucks?. Ahhh I'll be back.

the concert was great! i actually recorded some of the songs on my mp3 player :P (and i'm listening to it right now!). i thought his cantonese was great! he said "where's the bathroom","are you hungry". that was SO cute! what was that band that came out to sing? i can't figure out the name. i only heard something something ma ma. lol i thought the first song was kind of freaky with the digital lady.

The band was NAN QUAN MAMA they sang 2 songs, one song was written by Jay Xiang Cao Ba Pu and Shao She Hou, which Jay came out and sang the coures. I though I was gonna die, his "I want to Stay" was sooo goood.

oh, the bus ride to mohegan sun was HORRIBLE. i was car sick and i think i must've died by the time i got there. luckily, i felt better once i got off the bus. it was so stuffy too.

i'm going post the music to a site, and it's still loading because it a bit of a big file (i think almost an hour worth of music). i'm still bummed that i didn't get to record EVERYTHING in the concert though. esp. the part where he spoke cantonese. i loved it how he spoke in cantonese!!! oh, and the piano piece is brilliant. both my cousin and i were like "WOW"

I really enjoyed it even though i had horriable seats. His backup dancers were really good. I love it when Jay did that flip. He didnt do much dancing and that kinda dissapointed me.
He also sung really good in cantonese. I dont know that songs name either. I heard it before from his press conference in Hong Kong i think.
I saw him wearing the same outfits once again. That black and white outfit and that boots with jeans.

argh....I wanted to discuss about the concert yesterday right after I came home but that was like midnight lol. I went to the 2pm concert and I was kinda disappointed that I had section 8 tickets :dry: It was considered very close to Jay but I wanted the front rows seats dang it! and I'm very angry at myself that i forgot my digital camera *beats myself with stick* I'm so sad I wanan cry :cry: and the ppl around were all standing up and half the time I couldn't see and even if I stood I still can't see cuz I'm too short :dry: AND this point was the one that bothered me most! These ppl behind me were so rude to jay! when everyone was calling for encore, they were saying go away go away while everyone called out zhou jie lun! I wanted to beat them down so bad but that wouldn't be appropriate to bash jay's concert. I loved it when he sand red bean...it's one of my favorite songs and he sang it! He didn't throw anything down like he did to the hong kong concert :-x But even if he did, I'd be too far away to reach it anyways so forget that point keke. oh and the ride back home was crazy! there was like 4 or 5 accidents and traffic was horrible. my bro was so grumpy he said, "all this for jay chou." lol he's not a fan of jay sadly but o welps. I'm the only one that love jay in my whole family lol everyone in my family thought he was ugly cuz of his hair (but its so cool!) but when they saw him in person, they said he's good-looking (told you so :dry: ) I'll stop here...I think my excitement is taking over me becuz I am blabbing too much! but I did have a great time despite all the bad points becuz I got to be very considerably close to jay :happy:

anyone going sight-hunting for jay? what's the chance of him being at chinatown? i mean, he would definitely visit chinatown if he could, but imagine the mob if someone recognizes him! i hope he comes to brooklyn, there's really nothing here, but i live here so it'll be nice if i can see him.

Its dissapointing that he didnt throw anything down for us. My cousin went to the 1 a.m concert and he told me that Jay threw neckalaces. So at the 2 p.m concert i was expecting he would do the same. Ay..
I love it when he played the piano. I was thinking he might play the piano since he did it for his other concerts but i thought the stage was too small to have a piano there. I was glad he actually played it.

wow people actually stood up? that's very rude... i guess the security was pretty stupid then, the ones at LA are frickn strict. the only time people stood up was when they had VIP seats, and jay actually came down and shook their hands, then they sat down.

Hey does anyone have a clip of him singing sand red bean? or just a clip of the song in general? Yeah Lil' I can tottally feel for u. It took me about 6 hours to get home. I think we were driving right by the bus cause we saw this red bus with some Chinese show being played (I was trying to watch it cause I was going out of my mind in the car) But I just kept thinking this is a small price to pay for getting to see Jay Chou. i went to the 2pm concert too - my seats were off to the side, but not bad - section 1 row L. I didn't even realize he threw something, but in the end, everyone stood up and i couldn't see anymore. security guards were going crazy - but despite it all brilliant concert.
The ride home - to jersey. took 2 hours to get there, 6 hours to get back.

ok i FINALLY got back from Mohegan. it's now Monday 4PM EST and i was there since the 1AM concert (stayed two nites). i have SOOOOOOOOOOOOO much to say, soooooooooo much to share. i went to ALL freakin' three of his concerts. there's lots to compare but i need to catch my breath first cuz the post will probably be very long.

the only downside is that i took very little pix this time around and recorded no clips. i figured i'd try to enjoy the east coast concerts since i didn't so much camera watching at the LA one. shiet though, missed out on capturing soooooooo much good stuff.

LET ME JUST PEEP THAT I SAW JAY ALL OVER MOHEGAN LAST NIGHT. more details to come. he left for NYC at 5AM. goodbye Jay!

yea, same here. I actually though I would never make it home :wacko: hmm... now that im thinking about it.. it seems that Jay didnt do a lotta songs at the 2pm, it sounds like he did more at the 1 am, and then im looking at the Concert CD listings and there are so many songs from there he didnt do.

yea... yesterday's concert was really good. my friend and i was in section 2 row M seats 3 and 4. we were right in front of the stage. i couldn't belive how close i got to jay chou. esp. when everybody (my friend and I included lol~) ran up towards the stage. the guards were soOo mean. they were literally shoving us back. it was crAzy. haha. stupid guards. i just wanted to punch them or something. jk. i also posted some pictures in the picture gallery.

i went to his 2pm concert as well!!it was so cool,i got section 5 row d,i was the first one there with my brother's gf~we were sooo excited,but once all the people came in,we were like "grab!"cuz two tall people sat in front of us!!!and no young fans sat around us either!!so when i started screaming,everyone looked at me crazy,haha :D and i was the only one sang along with jay!~the lady behind me kept poking me to tell me to sit down(sorry lady,too excited!!),but later i didnt care,i stood up anyway~ :happy:
the concert was awesome!!but i thought the concert was too short,cant get enough of JAY~it only encored once too,i thought if people didnt start leaving when they turned on some of the lights,jay would come back~but everyone started leaving like crazy!~i stared screaming "yu hao!yu hao!"when he was playing piano with jay too,and devon from nqmm is so cute,all my attention was on him when four of them were singing~^^jay's cantonese is better than i thought!!(i am a canto-speaker)~jay was so freakin cute in the video,he was playin the piano and dancing these werid moves along w/ the music~haha
It was the best concert i have ever went to!but next time i will definitely buy first row tickets,my seats were too far away~but this time my brother bought us the tickets,they were our christmas present(thanks to him big time,i didnt think i would have a chance to go at all)~
the long bus ride beack to new york sucks,i was soo scared that i couldnt catch the last bus ride back to philadephia!!i was about to bang on the driver's head(since i was sitting right behind him),cuz he didnt know where he was going,he was just following the bus in front of us~haha

he busted his ass TWICE, but during his 2nd and more bigger fall, as he was trying to get himself up, he tripped over himself again, hence the three falls that ppl are talking about. he was just jumping up & down on stage and trying to get close to the crowd from up there as possible. trying to shock the crowd and make them go crazy (which was very effective). after his first fall, he got up, sang, then turned around w/ his back away from the crowd to jump back onto the main stage, where he tripped all over the speaker equipment. the layout of the stage was that there's the main platform, but in front, there's a piece that has music equipment, speakers and lights. dangerous for him to be jumping there and standing so close to the edge since it's high up from the ground. there's no steps on the sides of the stage, hence he could not go down to the crowd cuz there'd be no easy access back up. afterwards, he mumbled something (i dun understand chinese) and laughed at himself from embarassment i think.

poor jay but i couldn't help but laugh. it was just too funny.

it didn't stop him from jumping around again at 2PM but he was better at it this time around (he took huge leaps and stayed away from center tip of the stage - smart Jay).

I’ve been missing in these discussion because I didn’t go to the concert :cry: … I was at home wailing, moaning and groaning for the last few days (still going at it every time I think about how I missed seeing him)

Piggie : aww, so nice of your bf to hand over those gifts for you… so excited for you!… I’m still viewing your photos (since I’m using dial up it’s taking forever)… but from what I saw, you took really CLOSE UP AND CLEAR PICS!… I’ll continue going through them next time when I have a faster connection… he actually fell twice!… thank goodness he didn’t get hurt… that will ruin the concert.

There is a clip in the begining of this thread of him after he fell. Jay said that he hopes to have another concert here in 2 years, and he hopes that everyone can come again.

yeah, most young popular chinese singers come to the US once for a concert and says "i'll be back here in the future again! so come next time" and they end up not coming at all -___- since their popularity fade away in the meantime, so the concert managers wouldnt wanna spend $$ inviting them again..

but that wont be the case for our JAY!!!!!!!!!!! i haf faith that he's gona remain, and become even MORE popular in 2 yrs, im soooo lookin forward to the next time he comes, cuz i know i'll pay even double the $168 tix to see him!

by the way did anyone go jay-stalking today???? it was freezing cold in nyc today...windy as hell....it'd be so hard for jay to go sight seeing, so im thinking he prob stayed indoors, like Metropolitan Museum as some ppl estimated. its so warm and comfy there and it can take an ENTIRE day..

ok my fren just told me how he exactly saw him fall. the stage setup has the main piece, the extra platform to hold lights & speakers, and in front of that is a piece of board standing up that's no more than 2inches wide. he's thinking it's up there to fend off the audience from coming at him (it's not the railing piece that was in front of the bodyguards). anyways, he noticed that Jay was trying to jump onto that piece but couldn't keep balance, hence he fell. then he saw that he attempted to do it again prolly since he messed up the first time but again, he couldn't keep his balance to land on that board right. he was saying how he thought Jay seemed athletic with all his jumping up & down (doesn't know anything about him and how he loves bball), and would have been very surprised to see Jay be able to land on that dinky board piece.

i was trying to find pix of the setup since i can't recall this piece. correct me if i'm wrong here ppl. but this scenario makes sense since Jay said he had fallen during practice too, so he must have been practicing to land on this piece during rehearshal as well. too bad he didn't manage to perfect it. poor thing.

waaaaah!! I went to the 2pm show and it was AWESOME! I sat on the first floor at the back. If you went, remember the bunch of glow sticks at the back(green,orage, purple, blue)? That was my friends and I! hehe :D It was a lot of fun but I wished people in the back were more alive...but other than that, it was great! And yessss I was very jealous of the guy that got to sing with Jay, but he did a good job and sang really good. ^_^ Also the other band was that was there was also very good, my friends kept on saying how adorable the guy that played the piano was lol. Anyways it was a lot fun and I still can't believe I saw him in person!

omgosh, yea i was at the 2pm concert. hahas, he ALMOST fell but i guess he didnt. it was pretty funny with the security and all because once everyone started running up, they pretty much didnt care at all. omgosh, i was so ecstatic. my friend ran up and gave him this cute stuffed pillow. he accepted a few stuff willingly this time. this girl almost pulled him down when he held her hand and his friend onstage had to pull him from falling. Basically, the concert was just AWESOME. =)

I went to the 2pm concert as well. Like many of you - this is my first Jay Chou's concert. I guess I am more accustomed to the HK style concert - where the singer usually talks a lot more. So I found Jay to be a little quiet...but all in all the concert was wonderful. Jay sang really well - and I'm so glad I got the $168 tickets - no regrets at all.

aymei i know people have been telling me they can't open them....i really don't know why. they are .avi files, so windows media player should be able to play them!!! but i do know people who downloaded them and had no probs playing them....so perhaps you need to update your player or something...?

oh by the way, if u wanna know about my camera...um..its the sony cybershot dsc-p8...its reallly old, at least more than a year old, sony came out with so many new models after p8, i dunno if they're also good. i reallllllly like this camera, cuz the color comes out sooooo natural, unlike the canon cameras....they have a yellowish tone to them. or maybe its jus my opinion

LOOOOOOVE the clip :D I absolutely LOVE "In the Name of the Father" and I am so happy that he sang it as the opening song like he did for his other concerts. I just love the opening scene "In the name of the Father" but my hands were too shaky when I took my pics and they came out really bad. So I am saving yours on my computer. holy fuck my friend and i went to the 2 PM concert row 19 aisle seats. it was CRAZY too. everyone just kind of broke when he got into his whole dance sequence thing during the Checkmate// lun wu qun chiu medley. and then the KUNG FU MEDLEY w00tage. i swear people just spontaneously decided to take ecstasy pills. everyone started screaming and standing on chairs,. and just.. migrating foward to get closer. it was friggin fantastic. I've never seen such a high concentration of asian// FOB people. but who cares right? everyones a teenibopper when they see Jay.

We felt really.. enlightened. the lights and loud music. and just.. the actual JAY standing right there in front of us .. everything just melted together. It honestly felt like the Messiah had come and we were just. so blessed. I'm not religious either. and the sing alongs: everyone was just screaming at previously-unattainable high pitches and wasting their voices away. The love was felt. definetly. Hands raised, tears rolling, standing on chairs, the screaming, the JIE LUN WO AI NII"s and everything. Yep, the love was felt. and I'll never forget it... =]

I was thinking about the concerts responsiveness (2PM) and I would have to say that the right side was A LOT more responsive to the left side seats. Nobody really cheered for him or had glowsticks. There was no love there.. maybe thats why he stayed mostly on the right side of the stage.

if u sat towards the front area near the stage, did you guys see this old man who's a reporter?? he was standing around the 1st row of sections 14,15 when i first entered the arena..and i was wondering why there's an old man there...obviously he didnt look like a jay chou fan.. :?

then later the manager brought him towards the front of the stage to take a pic of jay when he was playing/singing "qing tian". then i realized he's the reporter...
so i went and bought all the chinese newspapers today, and i didnt see any articles about it.

Nope, it was Black Humor. They brought his piano out onto the stage while his home videos were playing on the jumbotrons. The last song during the piano sessions was Silence (I think).

Cherifish - u mean the right side FACING the stage, or HIS right facing the crowd? cuz i noticed his attn span too. he was on the LEFT SIDE of the stage (his left facing the audience) a lot during the 2PM since i was to his right, 1st row in front too. *arg*

during the LA and 1am show, he was on the right side MUCH MORE. just my luck, eh? 1am he stood on the edge a lot but 2pm he did it twice only. but i still got a handslap from him. =)

1) impressed by the fact that i was continually interested throughout the 17 pages! (yes, i read all your comments)!!
2) and i want to re-live the jay chou concert again!

i went to the la concert, and to compare, i think the setting of the shrine auditorium was lots better than the setting of the auditorium in the casino. i personally realllly loved the concert he held in LA, but i'm also very jealous that he talked more with the east coast! >:o
at the LA concert, he just kept singing and singing --- which is also great communication, by the way ;)

and thanks to pseudohymn for posting the clips! i actually just downloaded the cantonese one because i didnt catch that at the la concert! at the shrine, he only said, "where's the restroom?" but he didnt say all the other stuff like, "how are you guys?" "are you hungry?" heheheee.. that is sooo cute, and i feel so excited for you guys! (i LOVE when jay speaks cantonese *squeals*)

and i was in SHOCK when i read that jay fell off (3x!!) :\ how painful... but i also love him more for hearing that he continued to sing despite falling down 3x. :)
and i felt so scared when someone (sorry, forgot to quote) said it's good he got up himself because if he didnt, then all the fans would rush up and possibly hurt him :\

we also had a shower of glowsticks, but luckily none of them hit jay :)
though a few landed on my lap (and luckily not my head) :p

thanks for the pic Paradise. yes it makes more sense now. that piece u boxed sorta just protects the equipment from being able to fall off the stage. in front which u can barely see, there's a gap for the security guards where they stood in and then the railing that kept the fans apart. jay is just too silly but it was cool how he kept giving the audience a treat by standing as close to the stage's edges as possible.

what song was he singing when he fall again?? i'm horrible with titles.

The part where I boxed is the thing Jay was trying to walk on, notice the width of the piece... It was VERY narrow. Jay was trying to jump from that to the stage but that didn't work.

piggie, i DLed as many ppl's clips as i could and looked at it. he did fall during the double sword song. it just all went by so quickly and while he was talking about his fall, they started to take off his jacket and that's when i realized on key that Jay came down to shake hands at the LA concert. so i darted towards the front but didn't see him coming off stage. the mean security ladies told me to go back so i retreated, but that's when the crowd rushed towards the stage and so i went as well. good thing cuz i got to stand in front for the rest of the concert, thanks to some nice security ppl in front. =)

but yes, he was laughing at himself cuz i think he was embarassed and that made him cute. i wonder if he was blushing. =)

Piggie, i think u'll be happy to know that a fren sent me his clips of the 1am concert. there's like 10 altogether and he captured pretty much entire perfomances of songs. he was sitting far but guess what? he was taping the screen and i see Jay taking the hat u gave him. i'll upload them to my briefcase but these files are pretty damn large since they each last up to 3minutes. i was hoping he caught Jay falling on his ass but missed that. there's a funny one of the glowsticks being thrown. and one of the clips is the entire Faye Wong song - i'm so happy!! can't wait to show u guys! *hugz*

whoops. does anyone know of a good storage place to upload huge files?? some of these clips are 40mb a piece!!!

that took a while to go through these pages..thanks so much for sharing fans!! i went to the 2pm concert and sat section 2 row N seat 1 jay was nice..he stood at one spot a few times for the ppl who came closer to take his pics..he does look better :) compared to his las vegas concert two years ago, i think he improved A LOT and he did speak more this time. his singing was awesome but the sound wasn't as good esp compared to his the one concert in Lv..hes so funny and adorable..esp when seeing his dimple god feeling like melting.sigh..except its all over now ..so happy but sad too come back sooooon jay we really miss u!!

oh i have pics to share too and this clip of double blade but i have to find a way to hook it up..just got new computer and haven't used it yet so sorry i don't have it now...it sure was hard to take pic with digi cam cos pics turned out blurry most the time but managed to get some good pix..

all i can say is Jay is totally ..can't find the words to express how i feel but u all can feel it too right??

sweetT - hey i'm viet too! just that i don't look it. when i went to pick up my LA ticket, the chinese agency was like, u know this is a chinese concert right, this is for Jay Chou right, and they even proceeded to play his music to make sure that i knew. duhh. i would not drop 3bills for nothing. then at the mohegan concerts, ppl around me asked if i was chinese or not, if i understood, why am i there (cuz i looked bored but really i was having a blast) and checked to see if i knew he was from Taiwan. duhhhh. at least i'm asian. there were some nonazns and that's what made Jay happy (apparently what the newspapers reported).

wow u must like him enuff to not understand him and go to BOTH his vegas and east coast concerts. i liked him back then too but knew it was crazy to fly myself to vegas just for his show. i almost flew to Singapore tho for his concert since my sis was there and she was going and had a free ticket. i only happened to go to all his concerts this time around because his performances coincided with my whereabouts and luckily, i got hooked up for mohegan including my stay there. otherwise, Jay would make me one very very broke girl.

hey i was at the 2pm concert. it was AAAAMAZING!!!
if u think jay sounds good on his cds, well he sounds even BETTER live. u know how some singers sound really different when u hear them in concert, not as nice as the cd at all? well jay is totally opposite he sounded even better. n he is soooooooooooo good looking!!!!
i thought ppl around me were not exccited at all. i was like why did u pay so much to just sit there? i prolly stood about 80% of the time and i was the only one in my area!!
his concert was just amazing, and i got to touch his hand!!!! it was the first time that he was giving high-fives and i was the second person that he shook hands with!!!i was like OOOMMMMG!!!!! BTW, his hand was really cold, which is weird cuz he was dancing around the stage so much.
and the boy that went up to sing with him, he was sitting two rows directly in front of me, and he got an autographed poster afterwards. i was sooo jealous!!!
also, during the encore, he gave the nanchunks to the girl DIRECTLY IN FRONT of me. he HANDED them to her. i was like WWWTTTFFF????? sooooooo jealous. and then she stuffed them in this huge bag she had.
overall, the concert was great. i only regret not seeing both his shows. and also, from where i was sitting, i couldnt see him playing the piano, only the back of it, and i was so looking forward to that. but o well it was awsume.

ps. did ppl like his costumes? i thought they were a little too out there... but i really liked when he took off his glittery jacket, and he was wearing the white shirt,. black pants, and tie....sooo cute

This is my first time going to a Jay Chou concert.. I went to the 2pm one.. it was great.. but he didn't sing my favorite songs like Orbit, Excuse, Cannot Speak, and Broken String.. but regardless, it was really good.. thanks for the videos too! hey. it's my first time to watch a jay concert and it was all worth it. i thought he's going to sing "Broken String" but it's okay. i just didn't like the going home part the snowing part was okay but when it was time to get on the bus the man who was in charge told us that we had to pay for the fare and everybody were like "what the hell?!" it was the 431 bus hahahaha. just wanna share that cos i was really pissed off. but like i said it's okay cos i get to see jay chou live.

yep the girl was sitting next to me, and when everyone rushed to the stage, security was over there so she snuck onto the side. there's a big speaker next to the stage and i was thinking that someone could just jump on that and get onto stage. low and behold, that crazy girl did it. of course security rushed up and tore her off. did she hug or kiss jay? i had an obstructed view so i couldn't tell. i thought it was kinda funny.

and yes, jay made lots of eye contact. i had a seat in front. i think he waved to me when he was in that hat and jeans getup. so cute. plus i saw him waving and pointing at male fans that were singing along to his songs, like he was so proud to see not just girls appreciate his music. *sigh*

There was one point where I was the only one in my section who stood up after one song, I forgot which one, but I shouted "Wo Ai Ni Jay" at the top of my lungs and waved and I saw him wave back and there was eye contact, I think he was just surprised and happy cause he smiled, I think he was proud to see there was a non-asian also appreciating his music and even willing to learn some Chinese even if its just enough to say "I love you"

at first no body saw her on stage :X she didn't hug or kiss jay, that'd be a little inappropriate.. hehe, too bad jay put the heart down and didn't hold it while singing. :/ at the end of the concert we saw the heart still lying on the floor. we asked the guards to get it back for us, and now the heart pillow is right on top of my bed!!! :-D

I almost forgot I recorded one and a half song during the concert... It took me a while to figure out how to convert the files to WMA format. Anyway, it's the second half of Stranded and full song of Tornado from the 1am concert. Just a warning, I was singing along during Stranded so you can probably hear me singing over Jay's voice... and I screamed wicked loud at the end (so turn the volume down...). The quality to Tornado isn't the best, but still, it's Jay.

Well, I'm finally back from my NEW YORK trip and am now at my computer! I can finally share my JOY at Jay's concert with those who are just excited as I am. I didn't get the most up front seats but we were on the 14th row and aisle seats. I was just reading xii_piggie_iix post and if you've all had, you should know precisely what happened a the 1am concert. By the way, congradulations xii_piggie_iix with your flowers, they were pretty. And for those who did go to Jays 1am concert, you could probably remember that someone threw a scarf up the stage and Jay picked it up and wore it. Well, that someone was me! :wave: I was sooo happy and when reading xii_piggie_iix's post, I totally knew how she felt!!!!!! :excited:

Before the concert started I asked one of the man dressed in a suit if I could go up the stage to give Jay a scarf the I knitted. But the MEAN man say, "NO, not today." Then I asked if he can give it to Jay, ans he agreed. But, I wanted to wrtite a note telling him that I knitted it myself, but that stupid man would not give me a pen and paper to use. So I went back to my seat. Towards the end of the concert, we saw people running up, so we did too. We kept on pushing until I got about 5ft from center stage and a person away from the actual stage (not including the 2ft block off) :brows: . When I saw Jay turn my way, I lifted up my scarf and started waving it at him, but he didn't get and just waved back. (The important thing was the he waved at ME!!) :wave: Then finally when he was singing XING QING he walked over to our side, but because he was still so far away, I couldn't give him to scarf. I had a little chat with my friend and we decided that I had to throw the scarf as far as I can. So I THREW it and it landed on the floor. Jay didn't see it at first, and i thought that he wasn't genna see it or pick it up. But the next moment I saw his eyes on the ground, bent over, picked up the scarf, and wore it around his neck. :drool: (Because it was previously really cold outside, I kinda wore it before him!!;) I SCREAMED AND I WAS SOOO EXCITED!!!! I couldn't believe what I was seeing; JAY CHOU< MY IDOL<WAS WEARING MY SCARF THAT I KNITTED> I was gonna faint. Until now I would smile thinking about it. I feel like the happiest girl alive. :love:

Even better, when the concert was over, I saw Jay's mom!!! :shock: YES< ZHOU MAMA!!!! I couldn't believe my eyes! She was wearing this pink outfit which looked really cute on her. I didn't get to say hi because I didn'teven see it was her when she passed by, until my friend was like, "THAT"S JAY"S MOM!" When I turned She was far away, but I still got to see her.

Although I was really tired that entire day, and many unfornate things happened during the trip, it was all made up at Jay's concert!!!!!!!! I LOVE JAY! :thanks:

Here's a few of the video clips from my camera (I was sitting in the balcony sec 106, so they kinda suck, but the sound isn't too bad). I got a bit dorky later on and decided to attach my binoculars to my camera to get a better zoom; it worked, but there's this funny circle in some of my videos like you're looking through a telescope.

ahahah thats too fun using ur binoculars and camera together cool deal...i havent finished dling ur clips but saw the 'you can hear' and thought how great ur idea worked!! thanks for sharing!!

hey i just remembered something..
i llluuvvvvved the improv "u can hear" he sang during the concert. it was sooooooo nice and his voice sounded amazing. and i think he was dressed in the white shirt, black pants, tie n he looked soooooo cute
he sounded amazing during "black humor" too
ahhhh!!! omg i cant stop thinking about jay.....

yes yes i love the improv too!!!!!!! jay's so cute, he always gives the audience surprises...and i hafta say its a really nice improv too :rolleyes: um i think someone uploaded the clip for that too!! try to look for it i guess even tho theres like so many pages already

man, i had an AWESOME afternoon at the 2pm concert in mohegan sun arena. i can't stop thinking about jay like the rest of you guys. i'm in my own lil' jay chou fantasy world that none of my friends understand. haha they all think i'm crazy! =P

so jay's not coming back to the US for another 2 years?! i can't wait that long! GOSH!

lols well its not that he doesnt care i guess..he still does. i guess we jus haf a very mature relationship? i know my going absolutely insane is not gonna make him jealous, cuz first of all getting jealous over ur gf liking jay chou is such an immature and little boyish act. second of all, he knows for sure that however much obssession and love i haf for jay chou, the love i have for HIM is 10x more. so it makes him happy seeing me going crazy..kinda HAHAHAHA :D

WOW! so many people have already posted their stories. I think it's my turn to tell you guys about my experience :happy: .

I did have a great time at the concert :-) I had to wake up very early to catch the bus in Chinatown. I was going alone without company :cry: until i met a very nice girl called Rita who was supposed to meet her cousin and niece at the casino :happy: Before the concert, I was "shopping" at the stores, looking around the stuff they were selling. I did not buy anything because I only wanted to kill time :bleh: When it was around 1:30pm, I went into the arena, and a girl led me to my seat that was Section 1 Row 6 Seat 10 ( :wink2: just next to the hallway that separated Section 1 and 2). There was nobody sitting next to me. That seat was empty :bleh: so i was able to put my bag on the chair :shifty: While i was waiting for the concert to start, I was able to meet tvbaddict who was with her mom.

WOW! I was really excited when the concert began. I almost cried of happiness because i couldn't believe that I was really seeing JAY!!! It was like my dream come true. I was feeling so lucky to be able to go to the concert and see him in person, because I knew that i didn't have any chance of seeing him when i was living in Peru.

The concert was AWESOME! I'll upload some videos so that you can tell how it was by yourselves :tongue:
