And of course Jay would sell out the Air Canada Centre. But it's most likely singers will be having their concert at Casino Rama in Niagara, which sucks if you're not 18 and over. :oops: Hopefully Jay will have a concert in Toronto soon.

I agree, Air Canada unfortunately I don't think will sell out.... Too big and the population is not big enough. I've noticed a lot of Chinese artists performing at Casino Rama... Yeah the age limit is a bother for the younger folk... But those who are of age can party harty with JAY!!! ha ha :tongue:

Well, I think we did have a Toronto thread a long time ago - but it got lost somewhere in cyberspace. *lol* It'd be cool if he comes to Toronto to perform, but honestly if he's to come to Canada to perform, it'll most likely be at Vancouver. :dry:

You know I'm jealous that so many peeps watch recent shows with Jay's performances... I mean in Toronto, we have Fairchild and Talentvision, and all the shows are outdated... Plus, I never see Jay on any of the shows that these channels air.... :dry: Why is that??? :wacko:

i was a little peeved when Jay would only come to Vancouver and snub Toronto like that. that pissed me off. i was hoping David Tao would come over to Toronto too! i was ready to buy tickets, then i found out that this was for Vancouver too. then, i got really ticked.

The problem with the Air Canada Centre is that it's really expensive to have a concert there, well I'd imagine having a major concert anywhere would cost a lot of money, but apparently it's very expensive :x not just for those buying tickets but for the artists and the companies (?) I'm not 100% sure, but that's what I've been told...

mind that, regardless of such things, I would purely go to see Jay if he came- no doubt

Hmm...I guess it would actually be really expensive...but we'd all probably go anyway because it's this once in a lifetime chance :-) Then again, I wonder how many fans he has in Toronto...enough to sell all tickets? :? if jay had a concert in toronto..which is VERY VERY unlikely..i think he would sell out but not at acc. he should go somewhere a bit smaller. not that he isnt popular here..he really is...specially richmondhill/scarbs area but he would most likely go to vancouver....where all teh asians at. haha and id be so mad if he ever went ot niagara..so close...but i wouldnt be old enough!

I think Jay would sell out. Look at the recently packed concerts for Leo Gu & Andy Hui @ Casino Rama. There are a lot of Jay fans in Toronto. It's just too bad that he doesn't know this part of the world is worth going to...:cry:

I think he would sell out for sure. Hacken Lee and Allan Tam are having a concert in the ACC for the 21st and there are commercials all over the Cantonese news. So when I get back from this concert ill judge whether he would sell out.

Jay would sell out for sure. All the stores that sell albums really promote jay chou since he is the main selling point these days. So much people from my school know him and would really watch him live if he came here. Funny though, all the fans of Jay from my school are cantonese speakers and dont know a word what he is saying :D

Oh also, did any of you hear that Jacky Cheung is coming here? Where is he performing and when?

Hey! I'm from Oshawa, that's close enough to call it Toronto. I don't think Jay has many fans here, but hopefully lots in Toronto. Oshawa is kind of like "white people" hell (I can make that joke because I am white)! I prefer Asian people(better taste in music!), and I am glad to see that some are finally locating here. Most of my friends are Asian, but none live anywhere near me. The record store here doesn't even carry any Asian music.

Would Jay sell out the ACC? Hard to say...maybe...
It would be cool if he would play here, though.

i went to jacky cheung's recent concert at the ACC... it was alright but i wouldn't call it sold out though...

lol but yeah I agree with kiasaragi, i went to the Jacky Cheung concert and it wasn't reali what u called sold out, though it did do alot better than Sammi's Show Mi concert at the ACC. So I think its harder for Asian artists to hold concerts in Canada. And plus it might be realli expensive for Jay, takin into account all of his special effects, equipment etc. But definitely if he comes I wouldn't mind spending $X on tickets to see Jay! I realli hope he does come on his next tour.

I live an hour from toronto.. but i'd definitely go to his concert if he came to toronto ^^ reason why he wouldnt is because the fan base is still considered small if you compare to USA areas..
