Yesterday Metro Radio announced the 10 most broadcasted artists, Jay unexpectedly didn't have his name in the chart! According to reports, because earlier he let Commercial Billboard Radio hold the announcement meeting for his new song, offending Metro Radio and so they have blocked him out. And because of this there's a chance he might not win anything!
Sponsors once requested Metro Radio to give compensation!
It is reported that on the 12th and the 13th in August this year, Jay held a new song announcement and a singing contest with Commercial Billboard Radio and Metro Radio. In fact the company Jay belongs to, BMG at first requested Metro Radio to hold the new song announcement meeting, it's a pity that BMG suddenly changed its mind and let Commercial Billboard Radio hold it. Metro Radio was forced to postpone by a day and change it into a singing contest. This immediately made Metro Radio chaotic. The sponsors chased them for compensation. After socializing, only then was the matter sorted without compensation. But Metro Radio feels their reputation has been damaged, they are not satisfied at all and so they are blocking out Jay! Jay who recently came to Hong Kong and won 3 awards at the TVB8 Music Awards, was absent at the Metro Radio Awards Ceremony press conference. We asked BMG to confirm this, their representative Jackie said: "Each award ceremony is different, frequently they might change so we have no opinion on this result. We have no opinion on the 10 artists who got through. As for being absent at the Metro Radio Awards Ceremony press conference, it is because they did not invite.
