oh kool a thai horror movie, before i didnt know what it was about but i did some research. seem interesting. here's the summary if u dont know what the movie is about or dont wanna research like i did. lol
" The horror begins at the end of a night of drinking with friends, when a young photographer, Tun (Ananda Everingham), and his girlfriend, Jane (Natthaweeranuch Thongmee) accidentally plow into a woman while driving home. As another car is coming, Tun urges Jane to drive off. Later, Tun discovers a mysterious shadow appearing in one of his photos. At first he thinks it's just a bad picture, but then he realizes there's something more behind the shadow. The shadow is the shape of the face that resembles the woman he ran over. One by one, his friends start to die. Tun decides to try and find out the mystery behind the pictures, which keep haunting him. The couple gradually find out a terrible connection between the shadow and the photo."

Yeah I watched that movie already. We went there as a class (during gathering) to catch the last show at night together! so diao right! :brows: lol..
anyway the show IS scary..but the whole plot is really logical!! Even after a few days, I was still haunted by some of the scenes in the movie.
It's a MUST-WATCH for all those who enjoy a scare or two for the fun of it!! Original plot, with logic and twists, and a light touch of humour too. Go with a few friends and enjoy yourselves!!!
yeah ! it's a MUST watch.... i even think this movie scares me more if compared to THE EYE.
remember to put on your seat belt.. it will sure makes u jump all the time...hehehe..
i remember when watching the movie, a guy beside me scream so many times, haha, i of course scream with him,... hahaha
actually not only us... the whole cinema scream like crazy... very interesting...hahaha
i would suggest u go with a big group of people.. if u go 2 or 3 ..... hehehe.... u know......
heh really? :shifty:
but you know, there was this article in the sunday times , about those photos or images used in the show. a panel of professional photographers were asked to review the pictures to see if they were fakes or not. but the the things is, some were considered not fakes! :worry:

OMG! i saw this one night ago and rite now i'm still talking about it. i'm jus so interested in this movie...its way too good. One of the best horror flicks i've ever seen. Its s-c-a-r-y and has such a good plot!!! i'm not gonna spoil it because its so worth buying! i read that hollywood is planning to remake this film as well...but i'm not so sure because i don't trust everything on the net. Anyways my rate for this film is definately a 5/5. Those whom have seen it...wat do you think?
Heres the story for those who haven't seen it:
Asian horror finds some talent to watch in Banjong Pisonthanakun and Parkpoom Wongpoom, directors of the horror-thriller Shutter! Tun (Ananda Everingham) and Jane (Natthaveeranuch Thongmee) unwittingly unleash a chilling mystery when they hit a girl with their car one evening. The rattled couple leave her for dead, but her presence extends beyond their one-night encounter. Soon, ghostly shadows begin appearing on the negatives and prints of professional photographer Tun, and even their friends are starting to feel a ghostly presence! Tun doesn't believe in the supernatural, but Jane does, and her belief in the otherworldly shows this young couple that you cannot escape nor hide from your past. Shutter is a tense and haunting thriller that preys on our paranoid imagination and lingering fear, and further promotes Thailand as a region to watch in Asian Cinema.
The film released in 2004 became Thailand's # 1 hit.

Agreed! "Shutter" is nice! The ending really scared me, i had never expect the girl to be on his back.. eek!
Watched "Eye 10" yesterday, it wasn't as scary as "Shutter".

Yup, Shutter is nice!I've watched it thrice. While most of the horror movies often make us have difficulties in understanding the stories, (E.g Ju On.Watched it like 5 times, but i still dont get the story! ), this isnt the case with Shutter. The ending is really logical, and it's happened to be one of the most interesting and scariest parts as well.
And pssstt..the lead actor, Ananda Everingham, who potrays the role of Tun is really hot! I'm totally in love with that "small mole" under his left (right?) eye.
With an interesting plot and beautiful cast, this movie is worth watching! If i were to review it, i'd give it a 4 out of 5.Nice!
Hey I watch Shutter like a few weeks ago.,.it was scary...My favorite part was at the end...well I'll recommend to everyone to watch it...

omg this movie was crazy good. finally a movie that doesnt stop scaring you the way through. after you jump in one scary scene you'd usually think you'd get a chance to calm down but you don't! and i love it muahaha everyone should watch it because the story plot made much more sense than The Ring or The Grudge

I am glad you like Thai movies. If you are into Thai scarry movies like The Shutter, don't forget to watch The Eyes...... erm... what else.... Khon Hen Pee ( means a person who can see spirits ) The Shutter was very popular in Thailand and many ppl went to watch it and haunted by the scene of a ghost on the back thing..

the effects were great.. i dunno who copied who, but when the female ghost was climbing vertically down the ladder in the rains, i thot it was kinda familiar -the ring II, samara's attempt to climb out of the well.many movies had this same idea anyway. besides, the ending was really spooky! i could almost feel something aching on my neck still right now... =X

hmmm
i watched this movie by myself at night on my laptop... it was pretty scary but i still think The Grudge aka Ju-On was scarier... actually its still the scariest of all the movies i've seen...
Shutter just seemed kinda predictable with some of the 'scare' tactics.. but all in all it was a good movie.. the girls looked pretty :brows:

I want to watch this movieeee!!!
It seems to be a really nice movie (for horror lovers like me)
I think Thai horror movies are the best...somehow it is even scarier than Japanese horror movies. I watched a Thai horror called "The Sisters" a while back and it is by far the scariest horror movie I've ever watched!! Couldnt sleep well for a few days after watching it.
I wonder why they dont play Thai horror movies in the US, I'm sure the sales will be great because Americans are crazy for horror movies like "The Ring" or "Grudge".
