Just interested to know.. Which are/is the Jay Chou rap(s) that you have mastered??

Me myself have 1st mastered Long Quan.. I feel im so outstanding infront of my classmate, when i rapped to them (actually i was showing off infront of them!! hehee!) Then, i took up the challenge of Ban Dao Tie He.. Yi Fu Zhi Ming... San Nian Er Ban.. Zhi Zhan Zhi Shang, Wai Po, Ba Wo Hui Lai Le, Wo De Di Pan... These are the raps i have already mastered..

Now i am learning the Jiang Jun and Luan Wu Chun Qiu. What about you? It's really fun and cool in the process of mastering Jay's rap!! Try it!

By the way, i just finished mastering Jiang Jun!!! in just less than 2 hours!! I just keep repeating and repeating.. practising and practising... and it just broke my record of using a several weeks to master!! =)

Those are the only two I could sing decently.

I could never probably sing Ren Zhe or Shuang Jie Gun though. Probably when I learned and masterd Mandarin. lol.

why isn't 'ba wo hui lai le' not on the poll?? I think that is one of jay's favourite rap songs.. he seems to use it quite often when he does an impromtu rap towards a hip hop tune ^ ^v anyway, 'Ba wo hui lai le' is the rap song i've truely mastered.. ti tian is another one too ^ ^v

You need alot patience to master his rap. Especially those written by Fang Wen Shan. They are very difficult to remember.. unless to study them by hard. :happy:

Haha, I remember I spent a whole night singing Ye Ye Pao de cha when my sis bought the CD last time. :dry: So it should be able to roll off my tongue quite smoothly.. a few stumbles here and there are all right, isn't it? =p

how about "ba wo huai lai le?" that was the 2nd jay chou song i ever heard and the first i really liked (the first was cute woman...eh, a little too cutesy for me haha) and it totally fell in love with it. the only parts i don't know are in taiwanese, because i don't know any taiwanese at all, so i just mumble along until he gets to the mandarin again :D

I mastered (well I think :P) Counter Clockwise (Fan Fang Xiang Zhong) and am fairly ok with some of the 8 Dimension songs too. Can only do it with lyrics though unfortunately :( Which is why I haven't quite got the hang of Orc yet... :)

but if Ba Wo Hui Lai Le is considered a rap, then hmm....i can do most of it. :D

it's a real pity that mando isn't my first language, so trying to rap in language i'm not use to is very hard. but i guess the fact that i just can't rap anyway, regardless of the language, makes it even more difficult. :sweat:

Haha. This is such an interesting poll. I love listening to Jay's fast songs but sad to say, I have mastered very few of them. Okay, I cheated. Those songs that I ticked, well, I can rap them, but I won't say that I have mastered them. Some of the songs are really hard to catch the rhythm. I've been trying hard to master Shuang Jie Kun but it's freaking hard. I don't speak Chinese much and my chinese is always laced with this accent so it's a real challege for me. The raps that I can manage with are the slower ones. Ye ye pao de ca, wai po... basically the ones that most chinese speaking people can rap. My most accomplished rap will have to be long quan. Haha. Cos I think that's the most difficult one of all the songs that I can rap.

Master Jay's rap?! Sad to say I got no talent in raps. None is master. Mumbling along with him, yes. Rapping on my own, nah.. I think it is better to leave it to Jay. Cos even if you can rap it, you just couldn't capture his style. And that is what make his music so endearing..

Wow......I'm admit that I can't remember whole lyrics of his songs especially rap songs. I watch a lyrics while I sing his rap song. I give up to remember all songs long time ago because it's very hard and too many words. For me who is poor at chinese language, it's very difficult to do. Now my problem isn't how can I remember lyrics but how can I follow him when he raps. First song that I follow him is Ye Ye Pao De Cha. I think it's easiest. Now I try to sing Jiang Jun. Hope I can sing before new year.

I can do Wo De Di Pan, Zhi Shan Zhi Shang and Ba Wo Hui Lai Le.

Man, Wo De Di Pan is so hard to sing (especially the "zai wo de pan ze, ni jiu de ting wo de" part of the chorus) but after a lot of listens, I can do it. But it's not really a conscious effort to learn his songs, it's more natural cause I listen to them a lot so it just comes.

Well, i've managed to "master" Jay's Zhi Zhan Zhi Shang, Yi Fu Zhi Ming, San Nian Er Ban, Ti Tian, Ban Dao Tie He n most importantly, the first rap which i ever noe, Ba Wo Hui Lai Le... hehe... still learning how to rap the others... will get tounge tied at times though... but i enjoy it so much so it doesn't really matter...

It gave me a hard time mastering that song 'cause the rap is very fast.
I should have mastered it easily if it's in English.
Right now,I'm practising Luan Wu Chun Qiu,

Sad to say, I cannot rap so well, so I only rap only a few of his songs such as Zhi Zhan Zhi Shang. That's the only song that I can rap well. Others like Ba Wo Hui Lai Le and Jiang Jun, whenever I rap, I'll end up muttering, not even knowing what I am singing about.

Rapping songs can be as simple as abc... I just keep on practising, I will practise until I am familiar with it.. You can try it sentence by sentence or phrase by phrase, or just bit by bit... It's quite a fun process rapping it... You don't have to memorise, but just know how to rap..

After you learned the whole rap, you'll feel a sense of achievement!!

for me, i mastered yi fu zhi ming. zhi shan zhi shang. ba wo hui lai le. etc.. i have mastered quite a few already but sometimes i still muffle and just try to make up the words on my own.. still learning some other rap who i will try to mastered..
nevertheless, i still continue to train up on my rapping skills.. not giving up.. will try to succed all of them 1 day(i wish). i too also can rap on shuang dao, that i like.. cause its really nice and san nian er ban too.. but still trying hard to do a perfect rap!

my first rap was the middle bit in fan fang xiang de zhong! and i learnt the rest because i was preparing myself to go to my first Jay concert :tongue:

Well to name some, I've mastered Fan Fang Xiang De Zhong (if I have the text lol), Ban Dao Tie He, Long Quan, Yi Fu Zhi Ming, Ye Qu, Ting Ma Ma De Hua.... not too many actually cause it requires so much effort.... so, I'm really amazed how Jay can do that so easily......
