I'm in LOVE with the song Silence...it's the best Jay song everrrr...yet another one I had to pick was Clear/Sunny/Cloudless Day...I love the lyrics to it...so sweet...but some of the song Vincent Fang writes are some of my favorites too...but Silence just tops them all.

i think it's Jie Kou (Excuse). that line "Kan Zhe Ni Ku Qi De Lian Dui Zhe Wo Shuo Zai Jian" (看著你哭泣的臉 對著我說再見) [Watching your tearful face saying good-bye to me] totally rox~ but of course, all his other ones are awesome too! Like Ban Dao Tie He (Iron Box) =) But my most FAVOURITE one and the one i think is the best has gotta be "Qing Tian" (Sunny Day/Clear Day) just the idea of the song--how on a Clear day they would meet again--is so creative. i love tht song...ma favourite!

Back to the topic, i think among all his compositions, An Jing is the best so far. Qing Tian is also not a bad choice.. but then after reviewing all the lyrics written by him, i sort of think that he should learn from Vincent and write some better compositions in for his 6th album. Not trying to say that he's lousy in lyrics writing but i feel that he can write better and more meaningful ones.

I think some of the lyrics that Jay wrote are really personal.. for instant, in Ti Tian, he jokingly criticized Vincent Fang for being slow in giving him the lyrics.. In Wai Po, it's very evident that he is telling us his feelings~

An Jing - I like the whole "story" behind the song about a guy I think choosing to leave his loved one because she has fallen for another person. So sad but the lyrics are so true to the situation.

Shi Jie Mo Ri - Another sad song about some girl who would not give this guy a chance...

Qing Tian - I like the melody of this song more than the lyrics actually although the whole MV was one of the best I have ever seen. The lyrics are kinda nice though about the whole summer love thing.

Hei Se You Mo - The part that I like about this song is the orchestra part in the 2nd part of the song when the drums and the violins come in. The sudden change in the tune is so diao and the lyrics are simple but touching.

Jie Kuo - I like this song's lyrics because once again it is about a guy's love for a girl who would not give him a chance. The ending phrase - 如果要走　請妳記得我 is so touching... Man I sound gay... :worry:

Anyway, seem like most of the songs I chose are sad ballads... I guess I like his ballads more...

1.snail - such an optimistic song!!! makes me smile everytime i listen to it ^^ so peaceful, it can always calm me down when im angry or pissed

2. Penisula Iron Box - very very nice....even though it's a simple song and no one [that i know of] like it THAT MUCH [compared to all jay's other good ones] but for some reason i like it a lot. Especially the line 沉在盒子裡的是你 給我的快樂 我很想記得可是我記不得 (within this box is the happiness that you've given me, i'd really like to remember but i can't remember)....so sweet...

I almost voted for them ALL when I (painfully) narrowed them down to three! I loved all of his penned songs. He's extremely gifted!

I voted for An Jing, Hei Se Yo Mou, and Ba Wo Hui Lai Le! I think those are the best. An Jing because it was one of the first songs I heard from Jay and immediately fell in love with it. More so when I found out the lyrics. So very touching! Hei Se You Mou simply because it's such a lovely song. He sang it really well with loads of emotions and it was like only him and the piano (and the drums.hehe)! And Ba Wo Hui Lai Le because it carried a very strong message! It touched me! And when he sings in Taiwanese, I almost died! :D

Ti Tian and Fen Lie. Ti Tian because it's a -gasp- social comment that -gasp- showcases Jielun's OPINION (no way!), and Fen Lie because I can relate to it. Gua Niu is good too and I was glad that he chose it to sing during the MTV Asia Aid show.
