I think "Jiang Jun" sounds like Eminem's song "Soldier"

I'm not saying Jay's copying Eminem or something but the first time I heard Jiang Jun, I thought it was a cover of Eminem's song : Soldier. Do you think so? It's not exactly 100% similar but the beat and tune is similar.

Really this sounds nothing like Eminem's song...Look at a beat...there's nothing similar. Their rapping styles are entirely two different worlds. The lyrics are even more different. Em's talking about being a gangster and causing suffering among his enemies. Jay's song is about warfare and how a real soldier might actually feel on the battlefield (that's my interpretation at least).

Even the tempo, the chorus, the tone, the intro...i don't see how they are alike in any way

in the song "soldier" eminem does NOT talk about being a gangster, he's never talked about being in a GANG..but he does talk about guns and stuff, but not him in a gang.

i guess the only that are similar is that eminem raps about guns and being a solider, and jay is rappn about soldiers too?

I believe in the song Jiang Jun, Jay or rather Vincent.. was alluding to the game of chinese chess... :oops: Cos the whole lyrics everything is the moves you can make on the chess board. But that's what I'd think though.

the entire thing is about chinese chess.

because in the game of chinese chess there are cannons, horses, pawns, and of course the "general" which is what he's referring to. "general" (jiang jun) basically means that you killed the other person's "king/general".

and it's really neat because he sings about all of the various moves that you can do in chinese chess while speaking about battles in old fashion terms.

I think "Jiang Jun" notthing like Eminem's song, Ok something like this song smilar Eminen's song, Rap...but Eminem's talking about gangster and causing suffering among him I think that song has it's own, different style....but I believe Jiang Jun song of Jay, he used his voice to suit each song's beating has it's different and skillfully ...Jay's lyrics are an element that cant be neglected lyrics of Jay's song have a unique touch...2 men, 2 team, and 2 song I think sound, beat, lyrics and music it's notthing like sure...^^

i once heard a music like jiang jun from my brother's room! i thought he was listening to jiang jun but wheni entered his room, it was just the music from his PS2 game. I meant the tune...not the theme of the song or wat the song is about is like Eminems...I'm not sayin dis coz the title's similar. The first time I heard Jiang Jun, I already thought of Eminem's Soldier. I didn't even know the title was also Soldier coz I can't read English. Ahhh...nevermind la, I'm just making a statement. there's a big difference between the two songs.
But if the majority thinks that Jiang Jun

naw... they don't sound alike at all... the lyrics, beat, tempo, everything... jay's talking about a war or something and eminem's talking about him trying to help his friend by using his music to talk bad bout the other guy but he wasn't supposed to because it wasn't his beef (problem). which eventually made things worse because his friend gets shot and dies... and how can eminem listen to jay's music? he doesn't even know wat he's talkin about...

Nope, they are nothing alike. Have you really heard the songs? One is like a very light: dun-dunt-dun. (Eminem) and the other is: dun dun dun-dun-dun-dun-dun...the beat is faster. I don't think I made much sense with the dun dun's though.
