Yeah it was a really cool movie I liked it watched it a few times. The Faceless monster guy is cool.
Other movies eh you should try

Princess Monoke
Laputa's Castle In The Sky

those ones are really good and they made by Ghibli Studio's, most of Ghibli's movies are really well done!

I watched this movie quite a long time ago.It was so good that i watched it again and again  .The story is really interesting and it's something really different (not those typical kind of story).I liked the old grandma coz i thought she was really cute (short and has big head  ) though she was pretty evil.

And the faceless monster..what an interesting character. When i first saw it, i got an eerie feeling  .But this character has made the story more interesting. For those who havent watched it, well wait no more..go and buy, borrow or steal the vcd/tape coz it's just so so so good.

Anyway..i watched another Japanese animation movie recently, it's called GoodBye Firefly. It's pretty good too.The story is about the hard times a brother and a sister have to go through during the war.The ending is a bit sad.I cried when i watched it.

I have the whole set of Studio Ghibli Productions! I love japanese animations so it was worth buying it, plus it was a limited edition! But theres a new one out now...not sure what the name is but i saw the ad for it. Looks pretty good. "Princess Mononoke" has VERY nice music!
"Goodbye Firefly" is soooo sad! i watched it long ago. The little sister is soo cute! and you can actually get the candy bottle she had in the anime. My sister got it and she tried to put water in it after she finished the candies inside so she can have the 'candy juice' like the little sister in the anime...hmmm...didnt really work =p

omg zaizai_rox i totally loved Spirited Away too!!! i remember that we rented it one day a few years ago b/c we were walking around blockbuster and we couldn't find any scary movies lol. but yea anyways, it was kind of scary in the beginning when her parents ate the food and turned into pigs. seriously i got all freaked out. i was pretty impressed at the end when she was supposed to pick the pigs... tho i can't remember exactly what happened. oo and the little pieces of soot that moved around coal to the furnace were the CUTEST things ever!!! i remember that, and the boy turning into the dragon and getting hurt by paper birds or something. but yea i loved that movie. . . now i want to go watch it again! ^_^

AHHH i love this movie.
it's so creative and original. and super cute.

but the ending was iffy. it didn't make that much sense to me.
the beginning was creepy though, which was something considering it's a cartoon.

i heart totoro! i can't remember if that's from the same producer people, but totoro was the first japanese cartoon that i watched.

I heard of this movie really long ago but I only watched it recently when it was played on TV. I really liked it. The story is so unpredictable and I got really involved in it.

While watching the movie, I couldn't help but think that there's a deeper meaning to everything but I just couldn't figure them out. I was quite mind boggled for a while over it. Does anyone know about it? :?

You know, its the best animated movie ever (not the same catergory as those like Nemo, Monster Inc and things like that. Its cartoon I am referring to here)

I love it because its fill with things you have never think or dream before. It can be a little spooky at times, when you can't get the facts right. E.g. Why turn humans into pigs? Is it cruel to separate parents from children? I keep thinking if the author was referring to war? Child slavery or something else.

My mind keeps asking questions, but there are no answers. It leaves you ponder for a long time and you would want to watch it again for anwers.

I love the way it flows. I want more movies like this. Its better than 'Howl's Moving Castle'.

i loved this movie, it was sooo good. i think its the best animated movie ive ever seen, well one of them anyways. i loved the interesting storyline and actually got a bit emotional too.
other animated movies i'd recommend?? well the ones i was gonna say have already been mentioned here, princess mononoke; laputa: castle in the sky; my neighbour totoro; howl's moving castle. and basically anything else by Hayao Miyazaki/Studio Ghibli.
