Ah the lovely Mai's in the Hmong culture. I feel so special being one of the 200 or so Mai's at my school. :rolleyes:

haha, yeah, Chia is very talkactive and outgoing. She has long hair and goes to Patrick Henry High. Make up = ewww. But hey, you're running the pageant so you need to put on a lot to stand out! *nyah!* I can't really remember how you look like on the button. I'll ask to see it again on Monday when I see Chia hehe.

Nah, she doesn't have your button. Just those photocopied ones on the sheet of paper so that's why your face wasn't really clear. You know... I don't wanna offend any hmong person honestly, but I don't like Gen. Vang Pao. I just think he's an old corrupted man pulling strings and have no fairness though he's suppose to be a leader.

Mai See: haha I guess being a "Shoua" isn't so bad as being a "Mai"...2 of my younger sisters are called Mai, I've always felt bad for them ^^;;

I was at the New Year! Only on Saturday, but it was enough...my feet was killing me b/c i had to wear heels with my hmong outfit, and I'm not used to heels. Plus I was there from 7 - 6:45...my little sisters were in the dance competition, and they lost, but the other group had the judges cheat for them. Bastards! lol sorry kind of random.

I saw u at the pageant Gao! Nice job. I did not know u could sing, omg. That Hmong rendition of First Love was pretty good. Heheh arent u glad its all over? But it was stressful, 3 days straight. =P

I was @ the New Year too...it wasn't the best b/c my mom was in a bad mood and the whole place was packed i wanted to punch anyone who were in my way...i almost fell a couple times of my stupid heels...and thta clothes almost killed me...it was way to tight. hahaha good thing it was only for 3 hours...i didn't find anyone i wanted to hang with. :-)
