The rumours of Jay being with Jolin is still spreading to the extent that the person involved, Jay Chou, feels bored and wishes to change to a new 'girlfriend'. After receiving an award from his record company for selling over 3 million copies of 7LX, Jay reveals that due to the terms and conditions of his contract, he does not earn a lot from his albums.

As to what his 'rumour girlfriend' has to possess, he said, "Anything lar, as long as it's a girl. She must love music, have long hair and is charismatic." When the reporter stated that it is similar to what Jolin is, he immediately adds, "Her eyes can be smaller." He is then asked if he wants the lips to be smaller and whether she must posses 'F' cup, he smiled and said, "It isn't necessary."

Even though these rumours have bored Jay, but this has done little to ruin their friendship. When Jolin was celebrating her birthday, Jay phoned her to congratulate her even though he was in Beijing. 而阿Jay的新唱片《七里香》在亚洲大卖300万张，昨日更获颁发销量奖。阿Jay说：“这个奖的得来，是 因为有很多人都买正版唱片，而很多人都以为卖300万张唱片很难，但其实个个都有机会，只要你做出好音乐。 ”可是阿Jay的合约因为是几年前所签下，所以他的唱片分红只有很少钱，但他亦不急于要公司加薪金，因为觉 得公司在宣传和拍MV上都已花了很多钱。
Jay's new album, 7LX, has sold over 3 million copies all over Asia and Jay was also awarded for having such good sales. Jay says, "I could receive this award is all because many people are buying the original album and not pirated ones. A lot of people also deem selling 3 million copies is a difficult task, but I think everyone has got a chance so long as you make good music." Bad news is that Jay's contract was signed a few years back, so the royalties given to him from the sales of his albums is actually very little but he does not urge his company to raise his pay just because he feels that his company has already spent a lot of money on advertising and for shooting MVs.

He said this image is to let everyone think that he is concentrating on his concert's rehearsals.
