Edit: Do you think Jay should write songs for Stephanie Sun again??

It's a story since three yrs ago ~ that time ~ little Jay just appear 2 b a singer and not so well known by the public ~ he wrote a song for Miss Sun Yan Zi but ...... who knows she rejected the song.....
ok now, Miss Sun are 'poping' out again after a long vacation, and she's plan to release her latest album again...... she had finish recorded about 8 songs and now are crisis for three-four more songs. Finally, Miss Sun request a song from Jay again ......
Do u think that Jay SHOULD/SHOULDN'T do that for her ?

no...isnt it obvious that shes taking inspirations for granted?its so obvious that shes trying to use jay's reputation....like what you said,when jay was still a little singer,she actually rejected it!and the stupid excuse was that it doesnt suit her!come on....fish leong also just released her new album and its totally a heaven and hell difference from the stuff she sang in the past!
i'm not trying to side jay and shot guns at stephanie sun but i feel that she has gone too far...if its me i wont write for her....

I think it's pretty obvious that she's trying to fall back on something during her crisis but, something that definitely won't fail.

I'm not sure if her intentions are to totally "use" Jay. I'm sure they're good acquantinces and all just that, I think that Jay feels a bit discouraged to write another song for her being already rejected in the past, perhaps knowing that he may waste his time for another rejection? Especially during a busy time like this where he's preppin' for those concerts and finishing up the music videos, there is basically no time to waste.

Well, i believe Stef sun is nt tat type of person who will use Jay's popularity to boost her new album sales... so i think Jay shld compose song for her in order to break this unhappiness since it's a misunderstanding... but since Jay is busy preparing for his concert in Taiwan, then i guess he can only help her compose in Stef Sun's next album... Jay fans shld nt hate Stef Sun jus b'cos she rejected Jay's song three yrs ago! (hope i didn't offend anyone, if yes, i'm sorry!)

Well...right now, I don't think he should because I think as he said, he should be prepairing for his concert but not because Stefanie rejected him...but I'd like to actually see a colaboration between them one day. But I think that Jay should focus more on making his concert great for the fans. =)

I don't see why not. They are both incredible artists, and incredible artists working together will produce incredible results. Besides, if Jay refuses the offer, it will make people think that Jay is still upset about having his song rejected. Of course, if Jay is busy with his own work, then thats okay too.

i think jay should write songs for stef again. if the song really did not suit stef in the past, she couldn't have risked singing some "ninja-like" song when she was not as famous yet, she had to stick to her old formula to gain more popularity first. so it's quite understandable that stef rejected jay's song, and it's actually up to jay to decide if he would like to pen her another song.

I think it's a good idea, stephanie has an unique voice and I love her songs. I think it will be great if both of them collaborate.

Jay's pride may've gotten a bit hurt when Stefanie rejected him, but then again, he has been rejected before.

I jus wonder how Stefanie rejected his song, like how she said it to him, coz that'll probably be the main factor that will contribute most to how much of Jay's pride was hurt.

But anyway, now Jay knows Stef wants him to write songs for her, he might do something for her next next album , since he is too busy right now.

hmm i see more yes than no here...maybe you guys are right...but i feel that its really a ego and pride problem...i mean...are you going to write for someone,who rejected your creations,saying that it doesnt suit him or her,and who now says that he or she now wants it?if its me,i'll feel like being used or like a puppet....since she said that jay's songs doesnt suits her,then why should she be asking him to write for her again?and what if she rejected jay using the same old stupid reason again?....
for safety reasons...its better for jay not to write for her...plus his so busy....

um... that's a hard question. i think that if jay doesn't write songs for her, then the audience would think tat he's mean and tat he doesn't help his colleagues. but if he does then what if she still keeps saying tat his songs don't suit her, then his reputation will be somehow affected. but i guess, the audience will understand if she says tat, but some ppl may not understand if he doesn't write for her. so i think he should. if she asks nicely

He shouldn't write another song for her, she don't deserve it, when jay was not popular she rejected it and now he's extremely famous, she wants a song writting by jay for decorate album and tells everybody that the talented jay wrote for her? ... for me he souldn't do it ... it's like he's handling by her

I think he should write songs for her, it will be a good experience for all. The only reason she rejected Jay's ong in the past, was because she said it sounded like Ninja, which is definitely not her style of music. A slow ballad is more of her style, and Jay is very good at the genre. However, Jay should concentrate on his concert fisrt before anything else. :)

It's very hard to say as you know, jay cares alot of his "face". But it's also true that the style of songs jay writes is different to those stephanie sings. What ever that is, it is us that benefit the most as we would get to hear more of jay's composition.

I tot Yanzi have been asking Jay for songs long long ago? Not only for her new album right?? Anyway, when other ppl sing Jay's songs, can tell at once that there is Jay's influence in those songs, like Jolin's and Landy's songs. All ppl sing Jay's songs with Jay-style. I'd prefer they sing their "own-flavoured" songs.
