hmm...i am no piano player myself, but i would say that yes, he might do some excercises before he plays. wouldnt it be smart to do excercises before u do anything? like...sport...academics....music...most things u practice/ excercise at it before...so yeh....i guess he would...

i'm sure he will...i mean...for cello we gotta locate the 'a' first before we play...we do warm ups like counting beats or doing a c-major or whatever...and my pianist friends often do a c-major or some stuff like finger stuff....it will be better to do some warm up...
but unless...jay is really THAT good in playing the piano...i mean...as good as like what...maksim?hmm...

i play the piano myself.. :wink2: and for me, i'll practise scales and arpeggios before playing any piece.. this helps to relax ur fingers and should count as a warm up.. usually we pianists will do that.. :-)
he would i reackon, but you know, where do u guys think he gets the time to practice, cuz like, i need to practice regularly, or else i get really stiff in my fingeres, and sometimes its like relearning a peice when u dont play for a long time....but since he's so busy, how does he stay so good at piano, and the such
