[TW Drama] Love of the Aegean Sea/Qing Ding Ai Qin Hai

Hey, has anyone heard of "Love of the Aegean Sea"? It's a love drama featuring Chae Rim, Peter Ho, and Alec Su. Chae Rim in the lead in the Korean drama "All About Eve". I loved that drama a lot too =). Alec Su is the prince in "Huan Gu Ge Ge 1&2"

Here's the synopsis:

Kwan Hiu-tung(Chae Rim) was supposed to go on a vacaion to Greece with her cousin and 2 friends, but her cousin bailed and so did one of the friends. The only guy left was one they found to go on vacation with them online. So the guy she goes with is Lai Yu-cheung(Peter Ho). Lai is a really weird and funny guy. He kept throwing up on the airplane, and he even threw up on Kwan once! :oops: Anyway, he and Kwan don't get along well, and just as she was gonna pack up to go back home, she meets Lok Yan-ke(Alec Su), and they decide to go on a vacation to Santorini(another island) and begin to have feelings for each other. You see, Lok Yan-ke's mother has already set up a wealthy girl for him to marry, but he has no feelings for her. And once they all come back home, the love triangle really begins.

Reviews: I've only watched the first 18 episodes (there's 40 total), but so far, I really like it. It's not really like anything I've watched before :-).

i've watched it till 20. but im lazy to continue it. coz it kinda so so. no0t too interesting. but my frens said that, the 20 up is more interest than the previous 20. but i still not sure wanna finish it or not. but if i have lot time n nothing to do... maybe i will.

i agree this series had a bit of slow start but episodes 20 onwards improved.. i didnt like a few parts though especially the latter ones.. it's for you to find out..hehe

i've watched it up until 20(i guess...i'm kinda forgot because i was half awake when i watched this series... :laughing: ) and i don't want to finish it... :happy:

You guys! I've finished watching episode 23/24, and it's getting really good! Alec's mother is so evil! I can't believe someone can be that evil!! I'm so mad at her..... :profanit: god, that mother is soooo evil....lol. But you guys who started it should finish it, cuz it's getting good xD.

wow i'm glad i bumped into this thread coz i was just about to return the vcds of aegean to my cousin who lent me. i only watched up to disc2 and so far i really don't find it interesting. but since you guys said that it gets better then i'll just have to continue watching then.

lol.. i watched da whole series, buh.. i skipped a lot of it cuz in some places it was jus toooo slow.. buh.. i'm happy to say dat Alec's mother becomes good in da end.. n dere is a big suprise at da end.. i dun wanna ruin it for u so i wont tell u da ending.. (it's sad tho...) :oops:

i saw the series at my cousin's house and i watched like the first few parts but it looked kinda boring so i didnt continue...

oh boy... this drama was on tv in los angeles over the summer and i watched it. i don't want to spoil the ending or anything, but i have to say it is one of the worst dramas i've ever seen. i was hooked in the beginning. chae rim is so pretty and lai was really funny and alec su was pretty cute. but do beware that you are NOT in for a sweet happy ending. lol i was banging my head on the pillow in frustration of how weird the plot turned out

i've finished watch it, maybe the story is not good enough but i like very much the aegean sea...so beautiful..& all scenes full with "blue", i hope some day can go there :-) . beginning episode is very funny, but the ending is unexpected, i'm so suprise & little upset :? . btw, chae rim's so beutiful & peter ho's very "man" & funny :angel:

i haven't finished cuz i get bored in the middle...but alec su is very handsome in here and chae rim is very pretty but still the plot is boring for me... i even :sleeping: in the middle...:laughing:

my mom's friend just rented these tapes and let us borrow them. i'm catching odd bits and pieces here and there after i get off work, which means only about half an hour to an hour of watching. i have no idea what's going on but i'm gathering some pieces from this thread. anyway, i think alec, peter, and chae rim all look pretty good in this series. :happy: and now i realize the ending theme song is the one that i think jenna posted around here a while back. so, it's 40 eps in total? that's quite a lot. alec's mom is really evil? but then turns good later? and the ending is kinda strange? guess i'l have to wait to find out more.

i like this drama! but then it kinda dragged in the middle.. and it was pretty sad too.. the OST is really nice though especially the opening theme.... Ni Shi Wo De Yi Di Lei by Alec Su

yeahh i lovee the songs...hmm this drama is...kinda boring at parts...but then like, its like turning around a corner, you don't like know whats coming, well like, something unexpected happens

I like it but I think the story line is too long. It gets better towards the end though and the ending itself is kinda unexpected. And I love Peter Ho...he's so handsomee and I agree with love5, he definitely has a very manly face! He's my favorite character in this serial, always so faithful and selfless, never lets anybody down :)
