yea, i used to play but i was never good, i started playing like a week ago. cause i dled Steam for 1.6 . my friends had a clan and i joined. it's pretty fun. playing in Cal and stuff. 5 on 5's. I'm not that good, but i guess i'm getting better. my laptop is too slow though.

I play cs, but not like I used to a few years ago... I only play when friends ask me to, which is a lot I guess, I don't really play independently anymore and I don't care about clans anymore... The latest version of CS is Cs 1.6 which is on the steam platform

i cant get the gun in my right hand...its stuck in my left -_-
i went into options, the first tab, on advanced and set it to right hand but it is STILL in the left hand....only the knife is in the right hand for some reason..when i get out a gun...it goes to the left hand...
also when i am dead...and looking from 1st person...everyone else is also left handed...which i know is not possible
so i was wondering what the console command is...
i have tried "lefthand 0" but cs doesnt recognize that command...even tho at the offical cs site...that is listed as the command...can anyone help me T.T
(why do i care so much? cuz i cant run or aim at all....im afraid i will hit a wall when i run ....b/c the angle is so messed up...and i cant aim...cuz my alignment is all messed up...even tho the crosshairs r there =/ )

sorry jiandan...when i played cs i always used it in the left hand...mainly cos the old betas only supported left hand so when the option to switch to right hand came along i was so used to it in the left already...but i can understand ur difficulty...when i swtiched to the right hand side it annoyed me cos i couldn't 'see' where i used to be able to see because the gun was now blocking the right hand side...perhaps ur version is corrupt? did u consider a reinstall?

but...yeah i used to play CS...way back...i think the last version i played was beta6 or something...i was the vice captain for a decent clan out of Perth...but we disbanded after afew of our members quit playing the game regularly...i remember my highest score was 187/91...it was on dust...it was a 'forever dust' marathon...so the map didn't change...i played it for abt 6 hrs straight i think...ppl would log in and see my score and go..'wtf? how long have you been on?!?' hahahah...those were the days...

Phyxius- Why don't you go to yahoo type in counter-strike cd key.I think that will help you find one.I try it and it works.

My model is right-handed too, I think it's always been that way. I've played cs since 1.0... directly after it came out of the betas... and stopped playing for at least one and a half years... Now I'm playing again. Moderately. It's not like how it was before, though... Back then I used to be so into it, I was in a major clan, we played regularly and I kicked ass... now I'm starting to suck... and I only play on weekends if my friends are playing, too... But no more clans for me...

I think my best score from around now (not from before) is something like 58-12, if I play that long. But I rarely play that long anymore. Geez >< *embarrassed*

you need one. you just don't need to have CS installed before hand. just install Steam and it upgrades for you.

AK's the gun to use man.
That thing is my number 1 headshot getter.

Works perfectly on big maps and small maps alike. Just gotta have really good aim. If you miss your first shot, you're dead. First shot hit, expect a 3 hit KO ending with headshot.

Condition Zero doesn't change the game engine. Any computer can still run CZ.
In fact, the only good part about CZ is that there are intelligent bots. The gameplay elements are EXACTLY the same as 1.6.

The graphics arent' that much better. Just more detailed textures. I actually customized my 1.6 to look much better than that, with custom models and textures.

My situation is that I reformatted my Harddrive and i used to have Counter Strike on my Steam account but now i don't have it anymore and when i try to download Counter Strike off steam is says i have a used CD-key and thats because i used it to download the game the first time.

If someone could PM me a working Cd-key for steam or a steam account they don't want i will be in debt to them for the rest of my life and i'll sing you Jay songs to sleep :-)
