i think she's REALLY good. her singing is great and she has a southern texas kinda accent which is really weird coming from her..an asian. she's also really talented in ballet

when i first saw her on TV, she was performing "Kuai Le Wei Zhu" and i was thinking who is this, i thot she sound awful then. But think she did improve a lot in her 2nd album. Loved her "Hu Ran Hen Xiang Ni", it was fabulous.

I don't know if I like her. Just from appearance, I'd say she's Yi Ban (average).

She doesn't seem like someone interesting to me. Then again, I havent seen her on shows so I don't know what she's like as a person.

personally, i'd probably say that i like her better than elva and many other of those female taiwanese singers, but i don't think she's very popular in taiwan and hk, isn't she?

my dad brought me back the cd...and that was like 6 months ago--it's still sealed. she doesn't look that pretty to me from the cover. this looks like a nice cd though. i like the way cds from taiwan always have a whole bunch of extras and include the lyrics..that's so cool to me.

It's funny how the 2 favorite songs mentioned here, Lonely Ballerina and Hu Ran Hen Xiang Ni aren't even by her! They're Korean songs by Lee Jung Hyun - Mi Chyu and J - Like Yesterday respectively. And they sang it way better than she did. Her voice doesn't stand out, and Elva sings way better in my opinion. Her looks, she reminds me of Kelly Chen.

I guess I would have given her more of a chance if half her album wasn't Korean cover songs.
If she's good at ballet, she should stick to that.

I just watched her MV for Lonely Ballet, she makes a beautiful ballerina, so I seriously think she should stick to that. Her pop dance moves were awkward though.

Just to chip in...I'm pretty neutral towards her. I think she seems like a nice person. And I like two of her songs - "Xue Hui" (I've Learnt) and "Xing Fu De Wei Dao" (The Scent of Bliss)...

However, I am starting to prefer her good friend Xiao Xiao more.

OooH! I really like her voice! Its really sweet sounding and sofT!! I like her song "Ai Qing Kang Ti" (Love's Antibody) its sooo pretty! I think it was originally a Korean song, but she sings the chinese version of the song. I personally think she sings the song verrry weLL!! I recommend it!!! I've only seen two of her Music Videos, "Gu DAn Ba Lei"> Lonely Ballet and "Hu Ran Hen Xiang NI" > Thinking of U Suddenly. I like them both!! Its sooo sad when she crashes that guys car in "HU ran hen xiang.." video.. hahahahha sooo sad! hehe. But its a cute MV!

i don't know too much about her, but i just heard "lonely ballerina" and "taste of happiness" courtesy of sawmui13 and i like both songs. evonne's voice is very soothing to listen to. and the 2 fast and slow songs respectively provided a nice contrast. and it's cool that she's a ballerina. maybe i'll check out her MVs sometime... :happy:

my source is evonne's sister's roommate freshie year. keep in mind it's not like they were bf/gf and this was a couple years ago. i mean, evonne's hung out with a lot of musicians and stuff and i'm sure people date around but it doesn't mean they a serious couple, ya know?

Wow pandaman99, you know Evonne's sister? That's very cool! I don't know anything about Evonne! I didn't even listen to her songs before! I just saw some pictures of her and I know that she's quite popular in Asia. But tonight, she came to Vancouver to perform at this Taiwanese Festival with Peggy Hsu and she sang a couple of songs and I took a couple of pictures. I guess her songs are quite nice so I'll have to listen to her songs more often. :D

she seems like a nice girl. Has a nice body and judging from the MV I think she's really tall. I dont really like her acting in the serial "Love Train" but I think her songs are quite nice. I like her 7 yue 7 ri qing.
