Jay International Fan Club
-Rules and Qualifications for the Taiwanese region

For all fans above the age of 20, with at least high school qualifications, regardless of sex, political inclinations, or profession, working in Taiwan, having lived in taiwan for at least one year, qualify for the post of President of the International Jay Fan Club (Taiwan region).

In addition to the post of the president, all fans above the age of 18, with a minimium of high school qualification, regardless of sex, political inclination, profession, and having lived in Taiwan for more than a year, qualify for the other posts offered in the International Jay Fan Club (Taiwan region).

All who apply must possess great passion for their job, be willing to accept all challenges, and be available on-call at all times. All post will have a tenure of one year.

The posts available for application includes:
President: In-charge of all matters concerning the International Jay Fan Club (Taiwan region), and working as the link between fans and the Overall In-Charge in all communications, and coordination matters.
Vice-President: Assist the President in all matters pertaining to the club.

Treasurer: In-charge of all matters concerning the financial aspect of the club.

Promotion Manager: In-charge of all Taiwanese activities, planning of fan club activites and promotions.

Activity Manager: In-charge of coordination of club activites.
Administration Manager: In-charge of handling all administrative matters

Art&Craft Manager: In-charge of all club decorations.

All who are interested to apply for the above mentioned posts are to send their personal particulars, including name, sex, address, contact number, and email address and email to c40008@mail.holiday.com.tw, we will have people assigned specially to handle the emails. -Overseas Region Positions Qualifications

Overseas Region Club President Required

All those above the age of 20, with a minimium of high school qualification, regardless of sex, political inclination, profession, nationality, and had lived in the country for more than half a year qualify for the post of the overseas regional fanclub presidents. There will be three regional presidents in total. (MacDawn's note: I am not really sure about this part, but I think they mean they will have three regional club presidents governing ALL overseas regions..... Itsn't that stretching it a little far?)

You must possess great enthusiaism for the job, and be willing to work hard for all. And this is a job on a volunteering basis, no pay will be given.
All positions will have tenure of 1 year.

HongKong and Macau Region: 1 Regional Club President
Mainland Region: All regions in China, 1 Regional Club President
International Region: Inclusive of Singapore, Malaysia, US, Canada, France, England, Australia, Japan, Korea, and others, 1 Regional Club President

From what I know about International FanClubs:

To pay, would most likely be thru credit card.
Once a member, you will recieve priveleges eg, fan meetings, autograph sessions. (when Jay comes to u're country)
You will be the first to know about events.

In HK, all artists there have international fan clubs. they usually put this card in their albums, which ppl fill up and send to the main headquaters of that artist. membership fee is usually between HK$100 - HK$150

In my opinion, I think it's just another scheme to make more money on obsessed fans. Yet, the plus is that once a member, you will be told when the artist will come to u're country.

I think the region supervisor is just a person that actually gathers the members from their country, to events.

It's free to register as a member on the alfa site to post messages and stuff but you have to pay if you want to join the fan club, i think it's about 500 taiwan dollars (not sure if it's the same for international fan club though). The question is - how do you join/pay???
