is anyone goin to the concert? i think it'd be nice to like...share a hotel room together or something............and despite the fact that i go to ucla. i'm sorry, i don't know the bus systems or downtown AT ALL (i don't think i've really spent time in la...usually just passed thru the airport...HOW SAD LOL )

I know walnut creek~!:D I used to take a bus up from UCSC to visit my friend who's staying nearby! can't remember too many names, but there was this korean palace nearby that had really good chigae:bleh:

*envious* you people can hook up and see him tog in LA.. previously I had to travel alone to Connecticut from NY to catch him at Mohegan Sun..:cry: but he's worth it.. hee.. well.. u peepz enjoy~:wave:

ah, walnut creek? that's about 10-20 min. from where i live. haha, i live close to orinda, el sobrante to be more specific.

i asked my mom if i could go to the concert, and she said yes...!!!! x) but it's no fun going alone, and my cousin's mom is being really cheap about paying $30, if i paid for the other $48.. =.= $30 for the price of a $78 ticket. how much more cheap can it get.

MAN, I hella wanna go to that concert. Except that I know that I will be paying ridiculous amounts of money to watch Illinois football play in a bowl game during New Year's (plane + bowl game tickets). :( Oh well, Leehom will probably be back 'cause he was in the US two years ago.

i would go to the leehom concert, but i'm going to jay's the next day. i've never been to a concert before, so i want my first to be a jay concert. :) and, i'm also kinda scared that i'll be so blown away by leehom that i'll be disappointed by jay's so i'm not taking chances. hahaha.

when i told my dad i was gonna go to LA for the concert, he kept trying to convince me that jay would come to SF. i know for a fact that for this world tour, he's not gonna stop here. stupid jay. leehom is coming, why can't jay?! there are plenty of his fans here.

LA does have good food. I was there for summer break..but then again I go every summer haha Have fun at Jay's concert!

lol. I remember I was in New York during Spring Break (April). I was pretty much frozen. But when I got back to SF, it felt like heaven at 50 degrees, compared to the low 30s.

This thread seems somewhat dead. Thought I'd try to get it up again...For a bit at least. lol.

yup. I'm from Alameda/Oakland area. I'm surprised though, didn't think there would be so many SF and Bay Area folks on the site!! I'm sure Jay will hold a concert in SF soon enough.. how could he not?! SF chinatown is like.. the largest concentration of chinese immigrants in the whole US!:-)

yeaa agree with you last time around year 2003-2005? i went to San Jose and went to nearby town called Milpitas and was surprised to see many of Asian restaurant, cafes and stuff including Initial D poster :tongue: and of course other Taiwanese artiste dvd and cds :excited:!!

The thing I hate about buying Asian CD's here in SF is they rip you off, esp when they sell you China version CDs. Yeah I heard of the news about Tibet and it seeems pretty extreme. On youtube they showed a clip of this guy beating this guy up for no reason, he was just driving his motercycle and yeah.. :oops:

yeah, the weather's been pretty crazy. i remember friday and saturday were super hot, and then yesterday and today were pretty cold. and then tomorrow and thursday are suppose to be really hot again.

i prefer cold days too, hehe. i don't hate the sun, but i'd rather be freezing than dying from heat. so you're not alone! :D

Bay area weather is crazzzzy. It was 80+ degrees in Alameda on Sunday, and then it dropped to 57 degrees by Monday. Thank you, Global Warming. -_-

Even though it does get hot here, at least it's dry heat. I think we're all lucky to live in the Bay.. considering we get little or no humidity!

ahhhh i'm so bad at responding >_<

but i moved from sacramento/davis so the weather is completely different in the summer. Instead of the dry 100 or 110 degree heat, its really nice here. I'm just staying in SF for 3 months for my internship. so i have about two more to go.

The city seems so exciting but at the same time i don't know what to do. I've tried going places by myself, but its bleh when you're alone ;__;
