American Version of Jay: Josh Hartnett?

Hi. I think Josh Hartnett [starred in Pearl Harbour] looks like the "american version" of Jay. Kind of. Such as most western people have big eyes, however, Josh Hartnett has small puppy eyes just like Jay. As well, they both have a strong jawline. Also, just the general feeling that Josh gives off is similar to Jay's. When I look at Josh, he looks a bit "drugged-up" [not meant to be offensive] yet hot and cute, and shy but yet at the same time cool. Just like Jay :wink2: . I'm not saying Josh looks just like Jay, because Jay is Taiwanese and Josh is American. I just think that Jay would look a lot like Josh if he was American, and that they have resemble one another [in terms of looks and appearance]. Anyways, my friends tell me that I'm just too obsessed with Jay, and they don't think Josh resembles Jay in anyway. :dry: haha... What do you guys think???

yea i see your point... they both have pretty small eyes.. but i never thought josh harnett was cute at all.. but i think both him and jay have the same jaw-mouthish chin features... but jays' nose is so much sexier... i think overall jay is cuter than josh...

But I had such a crush on Josh when Pearl Harbor came out. :love: I thought he had the perfect nose actually, it looks great from the side profile. But anyhoo, the resemblance to Jay stops at the eyes I say. And that's only because they're both small, but not much else. The pic the link provided in the first post doesn't do Josh justice.

hmm.. i'm not so sure about josh. never really liked the guy to begin with so i'm biased haha. actually, my friend was over at my place today and after watching the yi fu zhi ming video, she thinks jay kinda looked like benicio del toro (who i think also looks a little like brad pitt). haha but i think depends on the angle you look at him from and also the hair. the hair can really change the way a person looks

Kinda. XDD Yeah, yall are right when you say the whole eyes thing... But I think that's where it stops. =X I dunno. All I've seen of Josh Harnett is Black Hawk Down, and he didn't really look like Jay... Especially with the bald head. o.o

Woooo, the "dog tag" scene!!!!! I loved that one too!! :love: Oh I loved him in uniform in that movie!! Liked him better than Ben Affleck in there. :tongue:

I really dont' see how they look alike honestly. Josh is more chieseled with a harsher bone structure and he's more "sensual" looking. You know, like a guy that can pass off as a model in Ralph Lauren's products.

Jay is more like the quiet guy (boy next door) and yeah, his looks are chiseled too, but they're more softer. Like he wouldn't look like a guy who would get his nose broken over a brawl in a bar or something.

An iono, just me but their eyes don't even look alike too. Josh is deep set while Jay's are just small. :sweat:

Dog tag scene ? Hm..can't remember any dog tags. Only remember that they were kissing oh-so-passionately at the airplane hanger scene with sheets of red cloth hanging down. So cheesy but...so nice. God I'm such a girl.

And besides, I have to say that if I were to be brutally honest, Josh is really a LOT better looking than Jay. As pointed out by msv, Josh's got that chiselled angular face. Jay has er, the nice nose and his musical talents are super-sexy.
