More than 60 die-hard fans of Taiwanese R&B prince Jay Chou, took pledge cards for the Community Chest's (or ComChest) upcoming charity show, True Hearts.
To date, they have collected more than $6,000.
What motivates them is that for every $100 they collect, they will get 2 tickets to see their idol perform during the live show, to be held at Toa Payoh Swimming Complex this Sunday.
As most of them are secondary school or polytechnic students, they had to juggle examination preparations with scouting around for cash donations from friends and relatives.

Yap, I think I am pretty proud of the Jay supporters, doing something for charity in Jay's name..... I feel that this is good, and allows the fans to channel their energies into something worthwhile.
Got my tickets, and cannot wait for sunday!!! I will tape the live telecast and get them encoded for ya all asap....
BTW, I am pretty proud of Jay Dimensions (my Jay Singapore fan club), about 20 of the 60 mentioned above were from Jay Dimensions..... hee hee..... Actually the reporter also interviewed me, but I guess I was not really that newsworthy..... Huge blow for my ego.... But what the heck, as long as Jay gets the news I am happy....But it wouldn't hurt to try to get Jay Dimensions on the news too......*sigh*
