[TW Drama] Say Yes Enterprise

anybody watching this series? its currently playing in china and i got to catch some episodes while i was on vacation.

the series basically revolves a group of 6 people who establish "say yes enterprise" in order to help couples get their happily ever afters since they think the world is pretty messed up right now with war and disease and so they want to help people find happiness. so there are different stories (i believe 6 total) each about a different set of couples.

the first was vaness and hebe, then there was wu bai and xiao S, and then da S and her real life boyfriend ...unfortunately i didn't get to finish watching the 3rd story since i had to go home :oops:

anyways...i really like this series! the idea behind it is really sweet and the stories are good. anybody watching it too? or if you guys are interested, the official site ishere (http://pgm.ttv.com.tw/Drama/2004/propose/default.asp)

hisashi, i think it's between the mother and Li Wei. And ya, me too, it's shown at 7pm (dinner time + local drama) and re-run on 12.20am (already too tired) that I totally missed out on the one with Da S and Lan Zheng Long.

If i'm not wrong, story 7 is about Guan Jun and Xiao Qi. sort of heard that when they went on e-news.

I think Guan Jun and Xiao Qi are the names of the character in the show (from what i see from the site). Didn't really know the name of the actor as Guan Jun, Xiao Qi is the girl (can't remember her name) acted in Meotoer Garden 1 as the Senior that Lei (zai zai) likes. Hope I didn't provide any wrong infor. :oops:

AAAHHHHHH I LOVE SAY YES ENTERPRISE. i was going to start a topic on this but i didn't think anyone would have watched it. i've only watched the first four stories. omg. the THIRD one with da s and lan zheng long was seriously the best. i cried SO MANY TIMES, and very hard too. it made the first two stories seem really cruddy.

i heard that in taiwan, this series isn't doing well at all. it's a shame because it's really good. i think it's because the first story pretty much sucked, so no one stuck around to watch the rest.

i am looking forward to the final story (#7)... i saw a 30 minute preview for the ENTIRE series and it is so eventful and exciting. it involves the six original people and so many big things happen.

the SOUNDTRACK'S really good too. i'll upload it if enough people want it!
i love karen mok's cover of "if". listening to that song makes me think about da s and lan zheng long and i feel like crying all over again.

Yeah I do agree that LZL was more of the quiet, shy kind of guy and Da S was more of a straightforward and loud person. I saw from a Taiwan Variety Show that Da S was the one who actually went after LZL when they are filming Meteor Garden 1. I guessed maybe they are real life couple thats why they took only two weeks to film their story? Anyway I feel LZL looks abit like Takeshi Kaneshiro (Jin Chen Wu).

in same way, I like the humourous part that was shown in the story. Actually the 3rd story is really meaningful, maybe some of you think that it's kindda draggy and stuff, but if you really listen to what they are talking about, you will feel it's so true.. and maybe this kind of scenario is really happening other side around the world..

I'm up to the one with Ye Tong and Li Wei, but i dont like it very much... coz i'm kinda against the idea of mature women and young boy thing.... so yea...

you know.. i thought it was sad how li wei and ye tong got so much crap for wanting to be together. it's such a double standard.. how it's okay for an older man to be with a much younger woman (so young she could be his daughter).. but when the relationship consists of an older woman and younger man, it's considered gross and unacceptable. it was kind of disturbing how it happened to be his best friend's mom, though.

OH Yea.. I can't believe I forgot to mention Doze(the guys who playes Li Yi Long) and Li Kang Yi(The one who plays Li Yi Pei).. This is in fact the first time I saw Li Kang Yi with a bossy role! She acted quite well and yes.. they are the cutest brother and sister! :D I had a good laugh when I saw the part where She is trying to take off his stinky stockings:D it totally crakes me up when I saw Yi Pei's expression!

the fifth story revolves around three people: an older married couple (the husband is a rich powerful man who owns a large corporation), whose marriage is practically non-existent due to an accident that happened ten years ago... and a young woman in her 20s. it has to do with an affair, pregnancy, obsession, etc... i don't want to say too much. but just a ... clue? the fifth story is called fatal attraction. i forgot what happens to the say yes enterprise people during the 5th story. it all seems ongoing in my head, not split up into seven sections.

in the last episode of the fourth story, ye tong decides to go off to.. france? italy? to study abroad. crap i don't remember what else happens. someone explain please!

SIXTH STORY: it's about li yi long's daughters and ex-wife. the story's SUPER duper cute and is basically "the parent trap", but better. at first i was kind of disappointed/pissed that it was SO similar to the parent trap.. but whatever. i like everything about "say yes enterprise"

SEVENTH STORY: only the ORIGINAL cast is involved. this was my favorite only because i've been SOOOO tuned into these original cast members and their stories. this story has SO MANY climaxes, i think. you won't enjoy this story if you haven't watched the other six.

li yi long got divorced quite awhile ago. he and his ex-wife used to be co-workers.... then they fell in love, got married, and had twins. however, she got promoted in the advertising.. place and they started arguing.. so they got divorced. lu ming jun took one of the twins and they moved to the US. the other twin went to stay at li yi long's parents' house.

hi guys! :wave: I bought the vcd of Da S and Blue's story coz I got so interested in it after watching the Dao Dai MV featuring their scenes together. It was so sad :cry: Was really crying so hard especially when Shu broke down after reading Xiao Niao's e-mail. I'd like to commend them both for their excellent performance :thumbsup: I must say, Blue really looked gorgeous with his long hair. And I think after playing their respective characters, both of them will learn to cherish the other more in real life.

I'm also rooting for Xiao Qi's brother and the other girl (sorry forgot their names already :sweat: )

Well, in M'sia it cost about $40, in Singapore it cost around $30 part box...it's even more expensive over here in Singapore...

Just managed to finished the first 2 stories... I find that the story line is quite good, but the director's way of filming is excellent, as he/she managed to capture the essence of each story, very straight-forward, thus cancelling any chances of having draggy scenes...

I loved the first three stories...very sad, quite very funny..heheeh...can't wait for the last 3 boxes...
But I think The Theme and Ending song was good...But I prefer hearing Dao Dai...cuz I feel that the piano version of it is more suitable for those sad moments....

i watched this series from a Chinese channel, but i didn't understand much of the dialogue..

i like most of the stories, but i especially like the love story between xiao jun and pei pei (not sure if the names are correct :) )

are they selling VCDs with English subs?

SPOILERS!! mystic_heaven, The other stories included the same ones like Qing Xu, starring Lan zheng Long and Da S-- a really sad one; the 4th story is the relationship of Li Wei and Ye Tong--basically story about a young guy falling for an older woman; the 5th story is about a richman having an affair with another woman and his wife soft of lost her memory or something.., the 6th story is a remake of Parents Trap but a better one, starring Doze, Joelle Lu; and the 7th story is basically the big ending for the 2 couples in Say Yes enterprise.

Anyway, Xiao S was nominated for Best Supporting actress in Taiwan's Golden Gong Award(an important TV Series pricee giving ceremony) of her role in the 2nd story. Too bad that the other 5 stories can't be nominated because it was too late for participation. They might for next year's..

yea i just saw that on 100% entertainment she was so excited.
i just saw the 4th story...late i know..but i dunno maybe it's just me but i didn;t like the mom falling in love with her son's best friend...and than she broke up with him not just because of her son getting mad but because she thought saw lee wei and that girl huggin the rain. than afterwards she made it look as if she was breaking up with him because of her son which was the truth but not entirely. are the other stories good?

I know that many ppl don't like this show because they claimed it's boring. But I sure did enjoy the humour and depth of the show. It actually depends of how they sees it.. haha.. :D

I was considering whether to rent this show to watch. I had read the book and I was thinking could I just watch some episodes? Will it affect anything? :? Cos they seems to be stand alone stories but used to link up the boss who open the Yes Enterprise. But everyone here got different opinions on the show.. Guess it still depends on me to make a decision.

Sorry zaizai rox, I didn’t make myself clear. :oops: The book is actually those drama-story book. I think they published that book after the show it done. There are some photos (in black and white) of the drama in the book. I don’t think it an adaptation from a book.

That episode, Da S and lan zheng long is really touchy one but still boring :sweat: at the most end, Da S was died by car crash.
Now I'm watching the episode about mom and her son best friend get a crush.. the complex situation will go.

Well, finally got the full set of VCDs, :D Happy...I'll enjoy my vacation with this. Anyways, I like the song Jolin sings at the end of the drama too...Dao Dai, Rewine...that's very nice.

Nice series. So sad its ending in BKK.
I remember watching the first 2-3 eps but stopped. then I came back to watch the story where this teenage dude falls for his friend's mom (is that Li Wei?). it was so good. I hate myself for missing the Da S and Blue (Lan Zheng Long). I guess its good and real coz they are dating eachother in real life. Its ending in like 2 eps and Yi Pei and her Lao Ban are still together. Where is Xiao Chi?
I discovered Dao Dai from this series. I loved the song and was *SHOCKED* when I found out it was by Jay and Fang Wen Shan. <although a little disappointed coz of Jolin, but she sang it well>

At first it's kinda boring especially the part about Barbie and Blue, but I dont regret continue watching it because the story gets better towards the end. I love the story about Huang Xiao Qi and the lao ban (forgot his name), its so romanticc that he finally proposes to Xiao Qi in the airport.

i dont really understand if the show is split into different parts and the parts dont connect, but its like a really long show about different couples. and it connects somehow. i bought the sets with da S and lan zheng long, and also the hebe and vanness one. the show has lots of famous people in it, so i hope its good!
