i think i heard Chun Li speaking in the music at around
4:18 and 4:29 mins...

can anyone confirm it is Chun Li voice....

the Chun Li i am talking about is not the Chun Li in jc.net..it is the character in Street Fighter :wink2:

i don't know whether i have posted in the right section or whether anyone have raised this question(i can't find any)

Yes, it's Chun Li. Perhaps some other character. You can hear the same samples in Suan Dao, and the famous "Shoryuken" of Ryu. :)

Haha I think his actually re-using the same samples from Shuan Dao. Like the sword sounds can also be heard in the song. There is also a sample of a character saying "Kore date" or something like that. Don't know who though.

kasic: we're talking videogame sounds. He uses a lot of voice-samples from a 2D fighting game callled Street Fighter

Jay is around my age, and when I was in high school, Street Fighter was THE video game! It was everywhere. It's a classic. Anyhow, Jay must be into that game too when he was younger. :tongue:

Although I'm not familiar with the Chun Li voice, I'm not surprised if it is! I remember once in some G-Music Awards 'live' performance, when Jay sang Ban Shou Ren...he said "Shoryuken" somewhere towards the end...and then he went on to add something like "Viper viper don ki..." or something (the sound the characters make when they win a match or something along those lines). He's that cute. :drool:
