zhou jie lun's enormous influence on chinese all over the world has attracted the attention of US time magazine, coming all the way to taiwan to cover news about his life, and from his music, the media, record sales etc to investigate this 'zhou jie lun phenomenon' !
within two years zhou jie lun has swept the global chinese population like a tornado. starting from taiwan, sweeping through hong kong, china, malaysia, going as far as america, canada, and other chinese communities around the world. pervading so strongly, that it can be said that if there is a place with chinese, there will be zhou jie lun's music.
this 'zhou jie lun phenomenon', has attracted the attention of US time magazine. the asian time magazine centre located in hong kong has specially sent a reporter to travel to taiwan, to interview this superstar of the new generation; and from different aspects to investigate what attractiveness zhou jie lun possesses. who, at the age of 23, with his music, can take the chinese world by storm.
the magazine's reporter, kate drake, said 'i found out about jay through my friends in america and canada. and then, whenever i went to hong kong or beijing, i could hear jay's music everywhere, even the taxis are playing his music!'
in order to investigate zhou jie lun on various aspects, kate left her usual reporting-base in hong kong, and went to taiwan for this report, taking images of jay in the studio and playing basketball etc, also interviewing people around him, whom he interacts with. these people include his former boss wu zhong xian, family and the reporters. from all these aspects to put together an objective and complete zhou jie lun, analysing the reasons behind his success and popularity.
kate said 'i have interviewed many asian singers in the past, but i think the special quality that jay possesses is his true honesty!' however, kate had difficulty in finding any major weaknesses in jay through her thorough investigations. 'the only thing i could find was his rumour with jolin (cai yi ling). also, his habit of not wearing underwear. but this is just his personal likes and tastes, not considered a weakness!'.
interestingly, when the time magazine photographer was taking pictures of jay playing basketball, he purposely lied on the ground to take some 'upward'-angle shots, which frightened jay to quickly cry out 'cut'..
this was due to the fact that on the day jay didn't have his underwear on, and was wearing a rather loose pair of pants. scared that the photographer might have also taken pics of his 'important' parts, he immediately asked a staff to quickly buy a pair of underwear, which prevented his 'important' bits also appearing with him on the time magazine.

um, jay didn't say that he doesn't wear underwear just to get others to do it. why would he care if others wore underwear or not. in fact it's not like he came out and just said it. it's because an interviewer on this entertainment news asked him did he really not wear underwear, and being the very honest and shy person jay is, he bashfully answered "yes" while looking at the ground and pulling down his cap.


but i've never heard about how he sleeps.. from interviews or anything. so that could be untrue.


and i think it's much easier for guys to sleep on their faces..my brother sometimes sleeps like that. because for a girl i would think it's uncomfortable to lie on your chest... and i don't think he would actually sleep face down.. but maybe with his face to the side.

I sleep face down, but I turn my head to the left or right, I assume that is what Jay does as well.

Apparently that way of sleeping is a "guy" thing. So then I guess I sleep like a guy??? I have no idea how they came up with that conclusion!
