Well, if they did decide to do a sequel to "The Reason" I'd like to hear it, especially how it sounds and the lyrics too. The reason why I love "The Reason" (hahah... lame attempt excuse me :tongue: ) in the first place was because it sounded a lot like thai alternative songs. Anyhoo, Hoobastank is pretty good. Hope to hear more from them! :excited:

i've liked the band for quite awhile, but they weren't popular until they released "The Reason"... well that's what it seemed like to me anyway.

Pugwash, you can try "running away"... that was actually the first song I heard from them and I really liked it. Its almost like "The reason" too, an alternative ballad.

Is the lead singer half Japanese?? I think i was flipping through a magazine one day and saw Hoobastank + pic and the guy looked kinda asian and i read on and it said 'lblah blah Japanese mom' i think.. Or wait am i confusing it .. Does anyone have pics of the band ? :)

Hoobastank....i have always loved their Crawlin In The Dark song (from their first album) :D .In fact, it was this song that made me know 'em.The Reason..is not bad too, but still not as good as CITD.Oh goshh...i'm kinda ashamed to say that i only know these 2 songs from them :shy: :oops: .By the way, i think the lead singer, Rob (he's of mixed parentage) is pretty hot,especially with his new hair cut these days. :) The rest of the members are ok, except for this guy called Markku (if i'm not mistaken).Kinda dislike him. :oops:

oman, Ive heard "The Reason" soo much, its getting annoying.
The first time I heard of Hoobastank was like 2-3 years ago while I was driving somewhere (i think baseball game) and the name of the band was soo funny!

Yeah "Running Away" is a good song same with "Crawling in the Dark", well mostly all their songs on their first album are good like "Pieces".. and on their new album "Out of Control" is good too!

Of course, there are some things Hoobastank are happy with, including the video for "If I Were You," directed by fish-eye lens connoisseur Hype Williams. Unfortunately, no one in the band has actually seen the video, but Robb's not worried. He's used to this kind of thing by now.

Yeah I think the name Hoobastank & their song The Reason will remain in music history for many decades to come.It's just too bad that the cute asian lead singer doesn't really sound as good in their live performances.

It's almost as if he has stage fright or something & his voice is a little trembly.Even though The Reason was overplayed,I still loved listening & singing along with that song.

The emotion,lyrics,meaning,beat,& melody were superbly expressed in that song.I listened to their other songs,but I didn't really them or maybe I just need to get in a certain mood to like them lol I don't know.^^
