I'd heard of full metal alchemist(FMA), in fact I'd read it.....well just the first few pages :tongue:

Naruto, Rurouni Kenshin, Hunter X Hunter, Shaman King, and the ones at toriyama world, are the ones that I like and looking forward to. I'd like HxH the most, since I'd read the 1st chapter till the lastest. As for the Naruto and FMA, I haven't read it although I'd it, since I had alot of mangas and hardly any time to spare to read all those as I'm reading shaman king atm as well. :)

Where do I get them? Some of it, I got it from comic books store, and most of it, I got it from the net :wink2: Btw, anyone here read Initial D or watch the anime? I didn't had any time to read it yet, but I'll soon. Can't wait to watch the movie, staring Jay Chou as the male lead..... :happy: :roll:

I've only been mildly interested in manga and anime and mainly for the art =)
But I'm always interested in learning more! Currently, i'm just browsing through some anime dl sites and experimenting with various anime. I like the art in Weiz Kreuz, Gensomadden Saiyuki, Initial D 3rd/4th stage and Le Portrait de Petit Cossette (dld it some time ago with english subs!) thought it'd be nice to watch, o.o and Ranma 1/2 hehe.

Most of them I either watch it on AXN or follow links to anime dlds. As for manga I don't own any but I'd get the manga artists portfolio. Pricey but so worth it!

i currently following NARUTO, Hunter x Hunter, Initial D Stage 4, FMA, RO Anime. NARUTO is my personal fave. i really recomend it to everyone. and Initial D is also another fave but stage 4 is very slow... :oops:

i watch RO Anime coz i played RO. the 1st few episodes were very fake and dull but now its getting more interesting. Hunter x Hunter is another must watch. The story is interesting and exciting. :)

FMA (Full Metal Alchemist) is quite a story of alchemy. I first thought it was continuation of FMP (Full Metal Panic) but it is not. However, i continued to watch it coz its nice and the story is quite interesting :)

The lastest HxH chapter 220 just came out 8th Aug, from Nexgear. Anyone read it yet?

FMA manga is SLOW... i would suggest you to watch the anime coz it almost reach its ending. now it is episode 44 and the complete set is 51 episodes. FMA is the story of Alchemy. kinda fun.

So few anime and manga fans only?.... so dissapointing but nvm. Im really regretting not having Astro so that means I dont have AXN.... no anime.... but I do read manga's. Has anyone read the english version of Ranma? Gawd its hilarious but really expensive.... my sister used to work at a comic shop so I read it last time. Im still a major fan of Rumiko Takahashi's works. AND Hayao Miyazaki!!! Who could ever forget him?!?! Im waiting for the latest movie... it's based on ONE of my favourite authors, Diana Wynne Jones. But now Im reading Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle.... its based on the CCS characters but its totally different. Death Note isnt too bad.... the RO comic....I LURVE LOKI. He's just too cute.... Shaman King fans anyone??!? Its finally over.... with 33 books.... Im gonna miss Yoh and Anna ALOT. But Im still going with Love Monster.... anyone heard of that?! I started to like anime end of last year so not sure if i am qualify to post here.
Only watch Naruto but now stuck at episode 99 (Thats all the episode i got for now). Currently waiting for SOMEONE to burn for me. But then, my brother bought Naruto's comics so I read till Volume 29. Its till Naruto went back to Konoha after learning Ninja Art from Ero Sennin. He and Sakura managed to steal the bells from Kakashi. Actually, I am not sure what tactic was used by Naruto and Sakura because I cant understand exactly what was written there.Its all in Chinese.I can read only 7 out of 10 words. By the way, i like Gaara and secondly, Naruto.

SLAM DUNK is very good too. I also like shoujo types. There are a fews that are really good. I will try to post the pics of it(when I'm free) so you guys can know what I'm talking about. i've got a huge collection of anime and manga. as you may see it in my avatar, SlamDunk is my all-time-favourite! BUT.. Sakuragi is not my favourite. Rukawa is. I wanted to put my Rukawa avatar, but the avatar is too huge. and i'm a dumb-dumb when it comes to re-sizing images, let alone create an avatar. i've seen the whole SlamDunk anime for the 4th time now. can never get tired of it. and the manga, being a huge fan, of course i keep them; all wrapped up - not for use! :)

i love Saiyuki as well. there's just something about that bad-@$$ monk which i love. my collection is up to Saiyuki Reload: Gunlock now.

if you guys love Japanese animation, i highly recommend Final Fantasy 7: Advent Children. i've watched the movie 4 times now. it's beautiful. i never knew Cloud Strife could look so good from his cubes days. :)

if i read Chinese, then i'll be reading lots of manga too. unfortunately, i don't. hence, i've gotta rely on anime.

there's a huge difference between manga and anime. in animations, characters' looks tend to run abit off. this is because creators has very little say in their characters animations development. if you read manga, it's always the creators' pencils at work. so you will get the "original" feel. but in anime.. *sigh* beggars can't be choosers - i'd say.

krystal, if you really wanna be influenced into anime, start off with Cowboy Bebop. the plot is good. the characters are interesting and funny. then of course, my recommendation, Final Fantasy 7: Advent Children (if you're into very good looking animated male charaters, this'll be a must). check out these websites first and see if you like the looks of the characters.

if you've not played the original Final Fantasy 7 game, i recommend you read the sypnosis of the movie first.

to also help get you in the mood, Gungrave is also a good start.

Watched lots of anime, including bleach ^^ naruto (crappy fillers now), fma, azumanga daioh (funniest anime ever!!) hellsing, saiyukki, samurai champloo (another funny one)...
but the best is Elfen Lied.... wonder if any1 has watched it before? will remain on my no.1 list... its touching and realistic... although it is very violent and bloody (decapitations >.<) and yes, nudity... (NOT, repeat NOT hentai) therefore its 18+ only... and keep an open mind... watch it if you have the chance... its beautiful

yupp naruto crappy fillings but i think tis month the episode 200+ will not be a filler anymore.. it will continue the manga version.. bleach also is a nice anime... but the manga is better even though it is black and white coz the anime now is fillers didnt follow the manga version

I am into LoveCom right now. It's hard forme to find an anime that matched up to Ouran so far for me. And don't forget Claymore. It gets youhooked on the very first episode. AH!! Fruits Basket is one of the best anime ever and the manga is so moving. Too bad they are not continuing the anime...
