Well vunsin...whatever reason you did this for...

Well the mods were just amused how some people still PM and Email us asking what is a post, how do you post, etc.
So I asked vun to make a "fun" guide to posting.

I was thinking we can make it more fun to post if we made the guide more exciting. Like a Japanese game show...

1. Initiate post mode by clicking the "Happy Smiley Time New Thread" button! :excited:
2. Type your message in the "Mystical Fun Box of Mystery" ~oooh!
3. Hit the "Hyper Sonic Submit Reply Cube" :rifle:
4. Congratulations!
Your coolness counter (aka post count) just went up by one!

...amusing to me, but will probably just confuse them some more.

Karen...what you mentioned was interesting!I understood every word...
but you're right...this will just confuse them more...especially if they got confused with vunsin's simple and straight forward guide...

xJayChoux...I've been wondering...if they can't post...then how would they ask for help? :?
By PM-ing?But...to me...posting is clearly easier than PM-ing...
You mean some newbie might POST saying..'uhh...how do i post?'

then they might get the warning that their post is too short so they make it
'uhh.........how do i post?????' it's scary..how incredibly naive newbies can be...

charmed, you need to read what Karen has posted in the above post again. She just mentioned these.... *see below quote* Somtimes it's just amazing what ppl can do and what they can't do~ :D

Oh... but perhaps we need to do a Singlish/Manglish version of the instructions... the english may prove too tough for individuals who'd only comprehend Singlish/manglish

lattae, maybe when you're bored you could do another version?

Who me? :glug: I am afraid that I may not be able to connect with that level... I mean... my level on comprehension may really differ from them, and unlike you vun, I didn't take no course in noob-language comprehension

I did read what karen wrote...Thanks for pointing it out...
I was quite surprised that there are actually people who didn't know how to post...
I remember my first post at some kind of online forum....and it was my FIRST...but i managed...I'm just surprised that there are people who actually don't know how to post...

lattae...well..since they pointed you out..you must have some special skills at doing this sort of things...do you?I mean...just imagine if you did take some kind of special course in noob language comprehension :D what would your guide be?

laruku

i really think it would take much much more time to do a singlish/manglish version... even though both me & lattae are singaporean.. (singlish should be a breeze...) but some noobs' singlish is SO horrible i couldn't understand a single word...

so to be able to do a version that THEY can understand... :hmm: tough tough tough...
