I really want to hear Jay sing in acoustic form or an unplugged form. May be it will bring a new style for Jay. I mean, not all of Jay song can be sung in acoustic way (may be like shuang dao). So, maybe if Jay want to make this kind of album, I really want to hear he sing :
- Anjing, Hui Dao Guo Qu, jian dan ai, He Se You Mo, Wuding (any other song that can be sung acousticly?)
So what about you?
Hmm, any song can be sung acoustic if you really try actually. acoustic is not base on special effects so if you just simply take the song and sing it like it is, boom, there's your acoustic version of the song. And you have little drums to serve as beats...... wihtout all the special affects and instruments, Jay's rap will be much like "open-mike" or free poetry.
Simple Love, Tornado would sound very nice if he makes acoustic version of them. But I don't know how he's gonna pull of "In the Name of the father" or even "Ban Shou Ren"!!!!!

Does piano count as "acoustic"? Because that has been done lot of times already by jay (sometimes by keyboard with piano sound). Lot of his songs are performable in acoustic versions because of their strong melody base, but perhaps any of them would lose some of their charm when the strong beats are absent. That depends on the skill of the instrumentalists though!

That would be awesome. He should pair up with The Roots, since some of his songs are hip-hop themed and he uses of lot of eclectic instruments! I loved Jay-z's unplugged albums where The Roots did all the instruments

I thought piano is include in acoustic version, and yup there r a lot Jay already did when live in concert or tv program. :hmm: Actually I don't think Jay's song can reproduce in acoustic with those electric sound make d song b perfect and it'll not good when play in acoustic. But if I have to pick one song for, I choose Gui ji
I found that rapping with no musical beat but with human made-beat is much more interesting like d color ppl love to do
:? I don't know but I think it will be great if jay make it.
I like acoustic song because instrument's voice. very nice when I heard it :)
(and I must keep the money for this album :glug: )

That sounded really racist. Colored people? Why can't you simply say black people or if you want to be politically correct, African-Americans? But that's not the point..... "human made-beat" are done by a ton of asian people, white people and yes them "colored folks" too.

i thought acoustic only involves the guitar?? like during live concerts where m2m, avril lavigne, michelle branch, jason mraz, and john mayer do?? they just play the guitar while singing with no other instruments to accompany em? that's only my understanding of "acoustic"..

an acoustic album wouldnt be bad
as long as he includes gui ji
is he a good guitar player??
Jay do knows how to play the guitar... if he is really coming out with an unpluged version.. that would be something new (: Jian dan ai sounds perfect for it ^^

Piano does count as acoustic, right? I don't know if this counts, but I'd really love to hear a piano album. There are a lot of piano versions of songs (like San Nian Er Ban), and I'd love to hear an album where it' s Jay improvising and playing around with the songs he's created on the piano. That would be so awesome possum.

most of jay's songs go pretty with just the piano..and some of them with just guitar so i think that it would be awesome if he put out an acoustic album =)
