There was no DAI thread so I thought I'll make one! If you didnt' know DAI did a concert in Texas on Friday and in NY on Monday.
I just got back from the NY concert! Let's get the bad points out of the way first. They weren't selling shirts or nothing from what I saw. DAI left right after the concert so no autographs :cry:
BUT when they were leaving the whole band walked right by me! I was 1 foot away from Tomiko and Ryo :thumbsup: They left at the same exit we did I think. I kind of lost track of them cause the damn people were walkign so slow :-x
Real Life Tomiko = DROOOOOOOOOLS :drool: She looks so pretty! Photos don't do her justice.
When I got there at 8:20 (9 is start time) it was so crowded already :cry: The place they performed in was like regular sized school classroom with 300+ people stuffed in :laughing:
I was located about 16 feet from stage and to the right. I had to stand on my tippy toes the whole time because I'm so damn short. From where I was standing it looked like 99% of the crowd were japanese :)
I kind of forgot but I think Tomiko had this greenish shirt with a heart in the middle (I need to look at my photos later on). Ryo had this red shirt and I forgot about the other people :laughing:
Tomiko said a couple words in english but that's about it. She was so cute though when she was trying to say it :love: Ryo's english was perfect. Some guy shouted out that his english was great and the whole crowd started laughing. He started shouting "saiko" in all these different ways. The crowd shouted then he said saiko again, and this went on for about a minute :laughing: It was hilarious IMO :thumbsup: He also told us Fukai Mori meant Deep Forest in english.
Tomiko spoke alot of japanese near the end so I didn't understand a word she said. I was still screaming my head off everytime she spoke regardless :tongue: At one point she said konbanwa which means good evening right? That's the only thing I understand :laughing:
Tomiko threw a white towel and a shirt I think into the crowd. The shirt was heading in my direction but it fell short :cry: She seemed to have alot of energy overall and the crowd was just crazy at times :thumbsup:
They said no camera and pictures but that kind of went out the window. People were taking pictures left and right. I got a couple in but sort of did a blind aim cause I had to stick the camera way up in the air cause everyone is so tall :laughing:
I'll try to post some pics in a couple of days.
Song wise I'll try to remember this off the top of my head in no particular order.
