I was disappointed by this show.
K-One's acting is so so, it leaps from one place to another, and does anybody notice that Joanne is always either very very very happy or crying? She spends the second half of the show crying and argh.
The dancing is a mix of kung fu and...something else I can't decipher.
I thought it was ok in the beginning since I started watching in the middle, but then when I went back to watch the beginning of the show, Joanne gets more and more annoying...argh. My opinion though, it's pretty popular in Taiwan, so I'm sure lots of people enjoy it.

But I do like the closing song.

If you can find a place to rent it, it's probably worth renting episodes here and there and not buying it. The dancing is...like the basketball scenes in MVP. There's only occasional moments where they dance, and the dancing is replaced by more of the drama later on. I'm sure some nice people have uploaded it for you to download and see if the plot interests you. I thought the idea of Joanne and J.R. as Shadow / Sunlight is pretty cute at first, that's why I kept on watching it.

I'm not a dancing expert, but I think dancing is more "hardcore" in Energy's show. Even if that show itself is strange and confusing. It's called 米迦勒之舞. Energy are better dancers than K-one though. Hands down.

Argh! I hate this time of the day. Everytime I post something around this time, I'll be directed to the "The server is too busy at the moment, pls try again..." page. And I'll have to retype my comments all over again. Whatever. Anyway, I was saying, I saw the advertisment for Energy's show on the bus today. They'll be airing the first epsiode of that show on SCV somewhere in Oct (or is it Nov?). So I guess the show will only be out somewhere around there. I find Kunda the cutest among them all even though he looks like Li Wei previously.

Takes a while to load. It started while I was in Taiwan in the summer.
It's a kind of dark, modern fairy tale almost.
I'll attempt to translate what's on the Story Summary because I can't copy and paste it here.

"Heaven" appeared in the city.
All of the underground dancers know that Heaven is the place where the best hip hop dancers dance. When it appears, that's when the ultimate dancer is born. There is only one Dancer of Heaven, and it is the highest dream of all of the Hip Hop dancers. The kind of honour and attraction, moving in the hearts of everyone.

When summer ends, Xiao Long (one of the people in Energy, I'm not an Energy fan, so I have no idea) is ready to return to Europe to finish his studies. He's protected by his bodyguards from home to the airport, but his car was struck by people in the street. When his life lies on the balance, he is rescued by passerby Hero. Xiao Long doesn't know that his entire life has been changed.

Hero and Xiao Long are two people in two completely different worlds. Hero is the greatest dancer in the underground dance scene. He has his own style, and isn't influenced by others, which makes him one of the most unique people in the street dancing scene. Hero's leaving influenced a lot of people. His father, who is a pastor, cannot shake the self blame. He thinks it is because of his previous doings in the mafia and is paying for his sins, so he collapses. He can't lose his faith, but he doesn't know what to put his faith in...

And it goes on describing the basics of the story.
From what I can understand, Xiao Long goes into Hero's family (who are all some sort of Christians or church people), and is accepted into Hero's dad's church. He has to lead the family into accepting what happened to Hero, to deal with his own faith, and to fight the war between good and evil that is raging in their city.
The premise is good, but the first few episodes are completely confusing. They throw in a lot of mysticism from the bible, something about angels and demons and "Satan", and they put it into dancing.

yea the dancing was really cool but then u can tell they start to repeat the same dance moves throughout the movie u kno??
i really liked this drama, fire and aki are soo cute together lol
wat happens at the dancing competition made me cry though....
overall i liked it and recommend it to those who didnt watch it yet ^ ^

I like this drama a lot! I reccomend verybidy to watch it even your parents to show them what teeanage dancing is like now days! I think that K One is super sexy and good at dancing! The story is very intersting and very sad and emotional for poor Qing Tian aka JR.
