Screaming Orgasm: Vodka, Baileys, Amaretto, Grand Marnier, Kahlua, and milk.
Thick, creamy Coffee-alco Goodness!

Margarita: Tequila, Grand Marnier, Fresh Lime Juice, and sugar syrup.
Tequila = fun! This comes straight up (no ice), or frozen.

Screwdriver: Vodka and orange juice. Vitamin C goodness!

Rum/Bourbon/Whisky & Coke: Nuff said. An oldie, but a goodie!

Red/White Wine: For the wine connoisseurs out there.

I often go to the pub/club when i feel cheers or happy. I usually like to drink vodka / taquila, :angel: i think its pretty good taste for me, but sometimes i drink beer, Heineken , its pretty slow for me but its ok :rolleyes:

I didn't vote but I would just like to say that I don't like alcohol. I used to have this big thing about drinking beer but then, I was 14.

If you offer me beer now I'd turn it down. Find it nasty.

I've tried some vodka thingy though, in a class chalet when I was like, 15. It was quite nice and sweet but my stomach felt crappy after that and I got all oozy and warm-cheeked. My friend drank so much that she threw up. :laughing:

Thats so strange! I've always loved alcohol.
Even when I was little, I used to ask my dad if he wanted a beer with his meal, Just I could open it for him & sip the foam off it (well, thats what i TOLD him I was doing :wink2: )

Don't get me wrong, I'm not a crazy party-girl either! I didn't go out & go crazy with my friends when we hit 18 (legal age here in AUS & NZ). My parents were far stricter for sure, but I personally didn't feel the need to just cos I FINALLY made the drinking age limit. Thats not what drinking's about.

I drink cos it's fun to have a drink and a laugh with your mates when you go out. Even better at a house party where you know most of the people there. You let loose, play games that require co-ordination when you KNOW you don't have any, and just have a great night! It's fine to drink, as long as you're responsible about it! :D

And as for my favourite drink? Long Island Iced Tea was what I picked, but I'm pretty happy with most spirits. Tequila is nasty for sure...and I can't stand alco-pops "lolly vodka type drinks". It's so sweet...and the bubbles! Bubbles make the drink go to your head too quick! And plus I'm sure I read somewhere that asian bodies don't handle alcohol as well as most other people...

Anyways, I prefer Smirnoff Ice. It's a cooler and it's a very soothing drink. It's basically sprite and vodka and well, it works at alcohol at the sametime. After getting drunk on New Years with family, I never enjoyed it again and I only preferred getting tipsy with the coolers and light stuff. Vodka and the hard stuff scares me.

Of course there were hotel parties where I experienced a lot of the different types of alcohol. That's where I found Smirnoff Ice!

Anyways, I haven't drank enough alcohol to appreciate all those mixed drinks. I know on New Years my brother's in laws were mixing and I tasted some and stuff.. it was ok!

I do however, dislike beer. It feels so thick and it really makes ya full.

erm... i suppose red wine..... becuase i drank approxamately 5 glasses in one day and i only drank that much alcohol before lol..... a little underage but no problem... since im drinking at home.... i suppose you drink when you're sad though.... thats the reason why i drank it.....

Pugwash: Smirnoff regular or black? My friend drinks it all the time, and always the black. It's 8 standard drinks in 4 bottles....Muahah. And I lied before...'Mike's Hard Lemonade' is good too. Really good. It was available for a short time in AUS, and then don't know what happened to it. I heard it's big in US & Canada, but not sure...

Hey Cola, you're Australian right? Haha this one time, when I was 14 actually, I went to the Gold Coast for a lovely holiday with my family. We were dining in a restaurant and my folks ordered beer. I was like, "I want beer too!" So my folks got me a bottle though I don't know why they did. At first everything was fine, I was drinking beer and thinking it tasted great and feeling all grown-up and crap but the next thing I knew, the manager of the restaurant (this man who looks like Ben Gillies from Silverchair and I'm sure you know Silverchair!) started hovering around our table and this waitress came up to us and said that the legal drinking age is 18.

:laughing: I was pretty embarrassed but I find it kinda funny now. But yea, I guess if you're having a good time with friends then it's okay. I think I'd go for something besides beer though. Beer has such negative connotations. Remind me of fat Englishmen in pubs swearing at the television screen when some crappy football team loses to another crappy football team. :)

I dont really have a fave alcoholic drink coz i dont drink that much,unless during some special occasions,but still,i drink nothing but Shandy (it's lemonade with less than 1% alcohol,um..does that count as alcohol? :?).I have tried beer and red wine before,and i didnt like em'.The first time i tried beer was a few years ago...my older sis was drinking the beer and she told to have a sip of it and i did.And i...puked!Eww...i didnt like the taste at all.And it's the same story with red wine,i dont like the taste at all...unless i add some other drink to it like Sprite or 7Up.Anyway,i would really love to try Margarita coz based on the description by cola,it sounds tasty (i hope so).But right now,i'm just not in the mood of drinking alcohol.Vanilla Coke will serve me better in the mean time. :happy:

This reminds me of when my flat mate and I had a end-of-semester cocktail party at our place. My flatmate was in charge of nibble & music, and I was in charge of the bar. So I made this selection of cocktails for people to try (that WERE alcoholic), and a mocktail fruit punch for the drivers and non-drinkers. Anyways...as the night wore on, the fruit punch runs out...so I'm like, no worries!
I grab some lemonade, mix it with a blue liquid & it looks like this really pretty cocktail, but non-alcoholic of course... Turns out, the pretty blue liquid I used was Blue ceracao...which, to say the least is actually quite a potent spirit!! I was so embarressed & ending up making all the drivers wait around for one hour to sober up (they had one glass each) ... all because I wanted to make thier drink pretty and blue! LOL. They still tease me about it...

A thread about alcohol, how cool. I'm a borderline alcoholic whose been drinking since high school. Anyway, my poison of choice is almost always beer. how am i able to drink? my family (mom, dad, and older brother) believes i should be exposed to alcohol at this age so by the time i hit 21, i won't go out and get drunk because alcohol won't be as exciting. and they want me to build up my tolerance so i don't get "raped by men", says my brother.

I've not had too much experience with alcohol but I've had my share. If I had to choose I'd choose a nice glass of wine. Hard liquor is not good for you...It takes all the water out of your system. Other drinks are just so fruity. Besides, wine is suppose to be good for you. Although not in excess. Anything in excess is not good for you...not even water

oh ok, edit: I don't encourage irresponsible/binge drinking. My parents never minded if I was with them... so I drank from an early age. It's like a convo I had previousy... I find people who grew up with drinking (as a social aspect rather than the main event) don't get as carried away as people who are heavily restricted from drinking until they achieve the legal age. Age is such a stupid way of restricting people from being irresponsible.

Yet again, I can't poll. Cos I can't drink and not interested in alcohol at all. Whenever I drink those, I will turn red all over! I will be red from my head to my feet! Its so embarrassing.

According to my friends, they say that people like me will not get drunk. Cos their blood circulate a lot more faster, and its easier to get rid of the alcohol in their blood. It would be disastrous to find out that you will turn green, cos by then you will be almost dead.

The tinyest big of Jolin is bad! lambasting of Jolin is great fun. I have two of her CD's. Real ones. I love/hate Jolin cos of Jay. Inner-child me likes Jolin cos she's pretty, is close with Jay, has pretty nails, oh and I forgot.... Is a star!! Current me hates Jolin cos she has huge nostrils, no singing talent, mooches off Jay's career n talent, has bad clothing style, has no class (she dressed up as a sex doll for a photo shoot...what will she do with herself when her looks go!?) and plus I have a slight jealousy of her akin to that for Lindsey Lohan.

Older kids should be allowed a limited amount of alcohol under supervision perhaps one to two bottles of beer. If they like it or not they could make there own choice then if they want to drink in the future.

Are tequilas that awful in taste? Or is it cos we all slam and stupor from them the 1st time we come in contact with it, and then all we remember is the horrible rush to drunkdom and the contracting hangover headaches afterwards?

I would love to taste an aged, classy tequila. Just to try it... and sip it slowly. anyone treid it?...

i haven't try a lot of alcoholic drink..but i like to drink it just bcoz i wanna know what it taste..

i'm just a corona girl, normally when i go out its like yep, corona and lemon thanks....

but when i'm looking for something different i will go for strawberry daquiri, its very nice or rum, lol watching pirates of the caribean made me have cravings for rum!!!
