Collaboration with International Artist ??

I'm inspired by this Grammy Awards.

Name the International Artists you'd love to see collaborating with Jay - International here is not limited to caucasian. Korean/Japan or other Asian is fine.

For me :
Babyface, Boys to Men, Usher.
Gwen Stefanie (not too sure about matchability, but she’s so unique, I wonder about the outcome !).
Yo Yo Ma
Tan Dun – Oh would love to see them working together creating soundtrack for Yang Zimou films.

i think most of those are pretty impossible.. i really don't think the singers here are that interested in international stars (like jay) no matter how big they are.. =T

how can you put her with jay? even though jay is super popular wherever he goes, i don't really consider him "mainstream" type of stuff. jay is always different from others.

Yeah, I agree with you on this one! BoA? C'mon... she can sing and I like her (plus out of all the korean artists, she wears the less make-up)... but still, its like her people "manufactured" her so much that sometimes she gets annoying (like her english is horrible and someone should tell her not to sing in it, chinese too)

I'd go with Elva, Utada Hikaru or OH!!! Eminem.... they write their own music, I wonder how compatible they are and what kind of music they produce!!!???

No no no..definitely NOT BoA. Have you guys noticed that she's come out with so many songs that they're all starting to sound alike now? Like..she completely doesn't change her singing style to suit a song and give it feeling.

Ayumi definitely is a stylish and talented singer/composer like Jay ^_^ Jay could collaborate with any artists, like uuuhh ...Sean Paul! lol I'd love to hear the chinese remix of "get busy" :laughing: but will they be able to communicate? I can't really imagine Jay talking/rapping in english or Sean Paul speaking in chinese -_-;; It's gotta be quite difficult to compose with international artists ...

hm, yea. if i HAD to pick an international artist, i guess it would be usher. maybe craig david too. i think in terms of their songs, it's more similar (at least for the r&b songs/ballads. But i'm not sure that jay would really match up with any other international artists. It seems to me that he's always trying to be innovative and do things that other artists haven't done before. and i dont seem to find that innovation really in any other artist, so that's why i don't think he really matches with a particular artist.

when aristes collabrorates , it should be something totally different in so that fireworks breaks out ! think of jay , so diao and young with someone like a-mei - mature but full of passion or jay with someone really soft and sweet and very young - but i can't think which artiste can fit this but must be chinese ( jay seems almost monolingua , he. he.) to stoke that flame between them. ha. ha. i sounds like a matchmaker !!
