Power Rangers, remember them?

wow, it been more than five years and there's still the power rangers on tv, of course not so popular as it used when it was first aired. Mostly consists of five members, red as the leader, pink, yellow, blue, green or black. Regulars teenagers turn into power rangers to fight evil. yup those were the days. First it was the the mighty power rangers, the ninjas :ninja: , turbo, deep space,etc, umm..i kinda stop watching after that but know there two/three more kinds. Now there's a new one, and that guy who played Tommy , one of the oldest power rangers, is back cuter than ever :love: . though this show seem more several years after the they graduated :grad: , and they showed the history of the power rangers and that just happen to bring back memories hehe. :wink2:
So anyone remember watching the power rangers, and saying which power rangers are u? :? :happy:

i loved the power rangers!!! i watched it until i was in 3rd grade. I even had a power ranger bookpack then, and kids used to make fun of me. I guess it wasnt cool in 3rd grade. But anyway, i liked the yellow one ( i think because she looked like me) of the first season. the asian one. I think i've growned out of the power rangers...now. Considering i'm 15...but power rangers will always have a place in my heart...( :bleh: )

I think I followed it up to 4th grade... I remember I was always uh... White Ranger? Amongst my friends, anyways. The original guys were the best, and the ones after them were pretty cool too.

Remember when their base got blown up for the time? And that little robot guy died O_o (so they found a new one or something) hehe...

I used to always watch this show. I used to be such a huge tomboy. When I was in grade 4, all my friends were so into like spice girls, and I would be so into pokemon cards and power rangers... X_x||

i used to watch it quite often as well. but even when i was in aound 2nd grade, i always thought it looked too fake..there were just some scenes...i dunno, it just looked WAY fake.

They used to be my faves last time. I wanted to be the pink ranger! She's so pretty. I watched so much of the power ranger series that when they came to S'pore, my mum brought my bro and me to take photos with them.. *cringes* But those were the days. :)

I rem the base got blown up too! and the robot died? I always thought he revived, no matter what matters :?

im not sure if its still on here in australia...i don't watch much tv often...but i so remember the show..it was so cool back then..ahh years ago...i remember being with my cousins and we just chose to be a ranger each and act out like a whole episode or something...but that was like ninja turtles as well...

but that was a long time ago...my brother watched all the time as well...he got the whole set of figurines...but it was only for the very first season, when it was only 5 of them...he still has the figurines on his table...hehhe..

hahaha!! i used to love watching power rangers when i was little! my sister, brother, and i would watch the episode everyday..and when it was over..we would act out the parts that we could remember..we would be walking in the street..acting like we were soo cool bc we were 'power rangers' aahah..those were the good ol' days! *i wonder what the ppl who saw us like that were thinking* and! i remember taht when there were sad parts, we would usually be like...'awww..man...i cant believe that happened' or something liek that..and we'd be sad for the rest of the day..funny stuff >.<

Hell yeah I remember Power Rangers. I even went to watch the movie when it opened in Singapore! My poor mom had to sit through that worthless piece of celluloid trash just to placate me... :laughing:

My favourite ranger was Trinitiy, the yellow one, from the very first batch of rangers. (If I got her name wrong, sorry, somebody's growing old here...) I liked her because she's Asian. Ha. I guess my Asian roots are ingrained deeper in me than I'd thought...

i think the pink power ranger was called kimberly but not sure....was it 5 years ago because it seems longer than that i dunno.

i think after the Power Rangers i think more and more versions similar to the Power Rangers was introduced on TV, but can't remember them because they were showed on TV really early like at 9 o'clock on a saturday morning. But i have to admit that they weren't as good as the original Power Rangers :wink2:

i liked billy, the blue ranger because both of wear glasses!
in school i used to play role playing with my friends, always playing the blue ranger, running and hiding everywhere holding water guns and killing monsters!

And w4t3r_lily, those new power ranger shows are just horrible! The girls are all skanky and the guys look like they could pass for 25 year olds yet they're still prancing around in high school! :oops: And the fighting is just bad along with the costumes and acting. *sigh* They can never replace the original. THE ORIGINAL CAST ON THE ORIGINAL POWER RANGERS WAS THE BEST! i remember how amy jo johnson (the pink ranger) had a THING going on with the GREEN RANGER (..tommy or something? long haired dude). but then i wanted her to be with the RED RANGER. hahahha and the blue ranger was so so nerdy. and remember that weird computer-generated mask dude? who bossed them around and told them what to do?

last time i saw power rangers, they were reduced to 3 rangers.

it looked like 2 white n one filipino or hispanic.

this show has becomed too much of that 3D animation stuff. everything they do has to have some 3D effect.

i miss the 1st series. and of course theres always some corny lesson to b learned by one of the rangers and some weird freeze frame in the end.

the turbo series or watever w the cars was really wack. they had some 9 yr old go thru hyper-puberty w/ a press of a button. he just spurts up 3ft. and starts fighting evil. every boy's fantasy i guess. damn hyper-puberty. just like in yu-gi-oh. yu-gi uses his millemium thingie to "pubersize". :worry:

they talked about the rangers on VH1 the 90s. the original black ranger was even there. :)

I say lay off the new power rangers series. I was watching one of the new series a while back (wildforce? lifeforce? something like that) but it was tedious and dumb. The actors playing them were just "ugh" in general and the fighting sucked and the costume actually looked like costumes. Back in them olden days when i was growing up, wearing a power ranger costume for Halloween was considered cool. Now if you do, I suggest avoiding the alley way and hang with a bunch of kids for your protection. -_-

but on the kid channels, where there used to be cute little shows like that one about a train station or those craft shows, there are now violent cartoon shows like gundam wing and beyblade. a little kid at my church keeps on hitting me with his beyblade toy.
