Er..i'm in college right now,but i dont feel like talking about my college :oops: So,i'll just talk about my former secondary school :) Well,i was from an all-girls school in Ipoh Road (it's called Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Perempuan Jalan Ipoh).Many have thought that the school is situated in Ipoh,Perak becoz of its name.But,NOPE,it is situated in K.L.

I have never been happier since i left my former secondary school becoz i really liked the school and my friends and some of the teachers as well.Most of the teachers there are female and male teachers who teach there are not more than 3.So,whenever a young and handsome male teacher came to our school,most of the students will be excited :excited: and our female teachers will start getting worried :laughing: (worried about there will be sparks flying around between a student and the young male teacher,perhaps? :? )Anyway,all the young and good looking male teachers never stayed long teaching in our school though..dunno why. :oops:

Actually there are still many things bout' my school than can be discussed here but then i think it'll be 10 pages long. :oops: So i better stop here :boxed:

erm..never heard of ur school but i've been to Hospital Tengku Ampuan Rahimah... i studied in Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan (Perempuan) Taman Petaling for 5 years...it's indeed a very nice school with greeny surrounding.... as i mentioned b4, my school is just next to a jungle....and my block, which is the closent to the jungle has a very high chance for monkey attacks!!!...those monkeys will be running and jumping around on the roof top...sometimes, they even *patrol* around my class corridor...there was once when a few naughty monkeys came into my class and stole my friend's food!!!...imagine that...the only way to scare away monkeys is to use fire crackers....haha... :brows: ..and i love my school!!... :happy:

Whoa... reading all the posts I can see that ALOT of ppl are from private skool's or sumthing. Well Im from KL and my skool isnt that well known except afew years ago I think....thr was an article in the newspaper about My skool gangsters SMKTD(1) fighting SMKDP.... So my skoo is SMKTaman Desa 1.... its actually FULL of chinese.... even my teachers say my skool is kinda not that even. Like 90% is chinese I think and the 10% is malay and indian. And the Art classes are full of chinese guys who are known as 'Lala zai' I guess most of u would noe wat that is la. But the science stream(The stream Im in) is full(Kinda) of english educated chinese ppl who dont noe chinese that well... The Chinese educated ppl think the English educated ppl are snobs.... Im lucky I speak both languages so Im an all rounder. And I USED.... when I was in primary la... I used to think ppl who couldnt speak english and spoke broken english were kinda KINDA like losers. But when I came into Secondary and I HAD to start using Canto and Mandrin to speak... I realised its fun getting back to ur roots and speaking chinese. But I still love speaking in English..... Im more sarcastic in english...ahhaha. My principals(last year and this year) Are chinese... thats part of the reason why Im in this skool. My mom chose SMKTD(1) over SMKDesa Perdana cause she tot they would be fair to chinese students since the principal is chinese....

The teachers in my skool arent half bad....... except for my Bio teacher and the stinky discipline teacher Mr.Woo..... Just cause he's new his way of getting ppl to noe he's got wat it takes to make us suffer.... he does really ridiculous things.... The latest one was.... 2 prefects wanted to quit and when he asked the head prefect whether the reason had anything at all to do with him.... so The head said abit. Almost at once Mr. Woo lost his cool and wanted to make them pay for sumthing like disgracing him.... he planned on firing them!!! And he wanted to do it in front of the whole skool so they would be humiliated....when I heard it I was like WAT IN THE WORLD?!?!? WHO THE HECK DOES HE THINK HE IS?!??!? And so did all the prefects.... he wouldnt give in when the head prefect tried to talk him outta it... so one of the parents of the two who wanted to quit came to skool.... And so-called had a heated talk. Mr. Woo was shouting... and the parent was asking whether OUR skool had procedures like this to quit. So Woo had to give in... after that he hasnt been doin anything BIG. Maybe its cause I was having exams...

Wow, I noticed alot of people are from PJ here also alot are in Private schools. In case you guys didnt read back the first post, I'm from Klang. Study in a school named Sekolah Tengku Ampuan Rahimah [STAR for short]. Rules are ok when you are in afternoon session until you mess with the t'chers. The t'chers are completely useless, trust me.

I'm going to morning session next year, and I am not looking forward to it. The rules are way way strict there. Also the t'chers will be having the daily assembly every morning which everyone have to sing the school song in a 'high-pitching' way to make sure everyone is awake by the time they enter class. Haizz.

Bout gangsters.. erm.. In my school they aren't many, those who are is really bad.. They fight, smoke.. bottom line is very active in the underground world. But they're ok as friends. The fights that happened in my school are usually caused from misunderstanding with La Sallians. So my school is kinda like a goodie goodie school. Teehee.

the campus is ok..they got good environment n facilities (as if)..
my business school's lecturers n staffs r so much better than the computing school's staffs...computing staffs r damn cocky..indian lecturers r the worst one in my college but some r not..
the hostel of the college is bad too..single room is damn small,jz like pigeon-hole but costs at RM1000 per semester which is RM250/month..there's nothin in the room,jz a single bed,a built-in cupboard n a study desk..oh yea,and a chair..
the best thing abt INTI's hostel is we can share out our files n all in DC++ n everybody can upload it..we share drama,movies,mp3..jz abt anythin...but the internet connection sux too..sometimes server down n we cant on9 ICQ all the time..only can use yahoo messenger or MSN messenger..
they somemore have firewall n block us from gettin files from outside..

CO2 sounds like carbon dioxide... *wahahaha* anyway, my school does the toilets ourselves too... only, certain forms have to do... like, form 2, form 3... this year, im not doing, cuz im in form 4! maybe next year have to do though... but... we still have a woman who cleans the toilet again... cuz the block A toilet is the main one... unless you're studying in block C or D, then you can use the loos there. the Block C and D loos are much much cleaner but smaller than the Block A toilets...

being a girl, i've never been to a boys' toilet once... except when i was younger and there was a time when i was at a guys' toilet coz of my brothers... i was kinda curious what it look'd like. anyway, there wasnt anyone in there. :bleh: and, my school boys' toilet... i've been there before...

you know those squatting bowls where you bend to poop? someone made a major hole in the second cubicle so that if you do use the cubicle, people can see... everything. even from outside, coz the second cubicle is visible from the entrance. Anywho, i was in there during a service camp thing and the guy scouts were in there too. lucky for three of us that they werent naked or anything... *throws hands protectively over eyes* anyway, it was funny...

What's about my school? The first thing I could say that the girls' toilets are so dirty and smelly, not just so smelly and dirty it's SO DAMN DIRTY AND SMELLY.
You could actually faint, when you enter the toilet. But sometimes, there's no choice right. (you know what I mean)
Other thing about my school, the electricity sucks! It's only my class block where the electricity goes on and off the whole day! Could you imagine how hot is it in the afternoon.
Teachers are fine.
Canteen food, not bad.

I think my sch is the most less student sch in my state! As for my school girls toilet, it is not that dirty and smelly. Because the lady wash it 4 times a day!(8am,11.30am,2.30pm and 5.30pm-if I am not mistaken:oops:) That is why I always go to the toilet at around 11.45am! I've just graduated form 5 !! So..i'll talk bout my graduate school !! It's a private school named Maktab Nasional !! It's a english school and the fees for the school is kinda high and we wear different types of uniform compare to the government which used pinafor* for the uniform !!

My school is a mixed-culture school...we have korean, japanese, taiwanese, english, malay, and chinese students !!! but most of all is korean students and chinese students !! But most the chinese students don't know how to speak chinese but cantonese coz they never learn chinese, so when we are talking to each other..we usually speak cantonese !! For the junior koreans...they never study coz they don't know our national language and english..so they just hang around in the school !! i heard that the pricipal gonna kick* them out from the school coz they learn nothing but just playing, roller scating in the school !! but for the senior korean, they r very smart coz they has been in our country for few years d..so they kinda learn something !!

My school has a nickname for it which is a rubbish* school coz my school always accept those students who has kicked* by other school..so there it goes !! So..my school is kinda messy...mixed with many bad students, average and good students !! The bad students are very very poor in studies, always bully the teachers (few teacher has resigned because they can't stand the attitude of the students!), playing around, and one thing for sure break the school rules !! But what to do...the school is so greedy, they'll accept whtever students if they give rasuah !! (i'm not trying to spoil my school name!) But for the good students...they r way too good !! no one can ever challenge them..not even the teachers !! they are genius, good in everything including sports and other activities !! but most of them r in form5..so graduate d !! i think the school has lost half of the good students d !!

hehe..ohya..there is only 10classes in my school if i'm not mistaken !! compared to the government sch..it has 7-9 classes in 1 form and my school is only 10 classes for 5forms !! each classes has minimum of 15 students and maximum of 30 students !! The number of students in my school is only less than 500 ppl !! For me...this school is kinda relax (this doesn't mean that the teachers don care bout' the students, it's depends on the students themselves whether they wanna be serious in study or not!) Few of the teachers in my school are like friends to the students...one of my best friends was my teacher too !! they r very open-minded and very close to students...those students with problems including family prob. they'll tell the teacher, for me...i'll hang out with my teacher...we go everywhere tht can bring us fun and happiness !!

yeah i heard GIS is the most costly school in KL hehe! Talking about schools, I think my former school is the most interesting one. IT's located in the forest. Monkeys will pay us often visits once in a while to steal food lol. All the girls in the class will run out screaming like mad dogs :laughing: My school is an all-girl school :happy:

austin2345: Regarding the school uniform, its actually depends. If you are going to a private school, they will have their own uniform. While if you attended goverment school, you have to wear their uniform. Primary and secondary do have almost the same uniform, just that the colour is different. Goverment school uniform are the same all over Malaysia. A female student in high school wear a dark blue pinafore with white collar tshirt inside. A male student wear a white collar tshirt with a dark green long pants.

About the school rules, well..its actually depends on the school also. But the rules are more strict in goverment school. I think most of the school are really strict about hair. You are strictly not allowed to dye your hair in any colour. It have to be natural. I don't think that goverment school cane students...not sure about primary though..but they don't usually cane secondary students.

School rules are run by some penalty system. If you break any school rules, the teachers will add some points to you. The more points you got, the more trouble you will be in. :oops:

i know in singapore, almost every school have different uniform but students here in government school have standard uniform. as i'm from some private school, my uniform is different. and i think its a not bad.!! lol.

I'm from a little crevice generally unknown to the rest of the world called Bukit Mertajam, mainland of Penang. Heh heh. Currently studying in a Convent Bukit Mertajam....though I'd prefer a co-ed school,it's too much of a hassle to apply for a transfer and all that.

wow. then if all your uniforms are the same for government school, then it must be very boring? its like. wherever you go, you see people wearing the same thing. at least here our uniforms are all different.

oh. some schools in singapore have demerit point system also. my school makes us wear short pants to school if we misbehave.

what sort of punishments do you have?

For my school, writing lines is very common. I don't think there is any student in my school who haven't write lines before, because sometimes, the principal punish the whole level together. we usually have to write 500 lines for minor offences, which is due the next day. but if the teacher give the punishment on a friday, then it will be 1000 if we hand up on monday, but 500 if we go to school and give her on saturday.

Then we have things like community service, detention, running, standing in class also.

so what sort of subjects do you study in schools? what are your languages? Our main language is English, then Chinese for chinese, Malay for the Malays, and Tamil for the Indians are 2nd language.
