[Movie] Who Loved Finding Nemo?

I'm sure alot of us have seen Finding Nemo. About a fish that gets kidnapped by humans and gets taken to a dentists office. Then his father has to go find him. Hence the name, Finding Nemo.

This is one of my most favorite movies because it's cute, funny and I like fish. xD

So who else liked it?

I liked it!!

I ended up getting it for my x'mas gift last year. I think that there was meaning behind the movie for both children and adults.

It teaches us that our parents do so much for us sometimes without us knowing.....like how nemo got 'caught' and then his father went out of his way to save his son. I mean of course his dad would do all he could to save his son, but in this world .......there are parents who don't care that much about their children. Ok, I'm like blabbing on about this now....not even sure if you guys will understand what I'm saying.

I guess it just teaches people to be responsible too.....if nemo wasn't so curious about what goes on outside of the ocean, he wouldn't have gotten himself into trouble....and if he was more responsible he would've listened to his father.....

Anyways, this long blurb of stuff......I hope it makes sense.

Has anyone seen real blue tangs? The Dory fish? I watch it swim around, and I swear, it looks dopey! It's got that Dory mouth, and the dinky swimming :laughing: . But nemo and Bubbles look kinda plasticy in real life. It's coz their colours are so vibrant.

I loved it very much!!!It was funny and nice!I remember i laughed all the way from the beginning until the end of the movie :laughing: It was really funny,especially Dory.And like most of u guys here,i like Dory!!The part where she spoke whale language and asked Marlin to follow her and then she suddenly swam away coz she couldnt remember who Marlin was since she has a short memory were indeed,extremely funny! :laughing: Cute Dory!Oh...did anyone notice whenever the fish in the tank inside the dentist's office talked about Darla,they'll start playing the "psycho" music.I like that one. :D

i derno normally watch those kinds of shows...but i gota admit it was a very touching movie...i thought it was funny at the end wen they're rolling across the road in the plastic bags...

I like the starfish :) . And how she forgets that she's always speaking when she's stuck to the aquarium and the gang would always remind her that they can't hear her.

My favourite scene was where Dory pushes the crab to the surface and threatens to feed him to the 'Mine-mine-mine' birds. (What species are those :? ?) That always cracks me up. :lolabove:

My favorite scene was with the sea turtles. Especially the baby turtle!! God they were so cute! And with the 'Dude!' part. I watched FN in french a couple days ago and 'Dude' is something like 'Coco!' haha.... weird. And when the seagulls said 'mine' it was 'a moi, a moi'.... it gets really annoying after awhile though...

i really liked finding nemo! the only thing i can complain or say is that they didn't have a song for the movie and it's a disney movie...right? disney movies always have a song but finding nemo didn't have one....but i still loved it haha

I haven't met anyone who dosen't like the movie. Finding Nemo was the best movie I watched all year last year followed closely by Lord of the Ring movies.
I loved how it was set in Sydney...where I live!! so come visit Sydney!!
My favourite characters were Dory, Crush (the little turtle) and the sharks.
I loved the part where Dory spoke whale. That was so funny.

The movie was so fresh, funny and cute.

yeah actually alot of the cartoons nowadays aren't really targetted strictly at kids nemore...

u got flicks like shrek that appeal to the more mature audience as well...its great!

altho...i still make sure i drag one of my lil cousins along with me...just so it looks like he's the one eager to go see it...even if i'm the one dragging him into the cinema... :happy:

Oooh, I loved when the little turtle was explaining how to get out of the current, and Marlin replies with "You're cute, but I can't understand a word you're saying!" And then, when they are out, Dory turns around and says "Look, turtles!" :laughing: .

My friend spent over $100 just on dialing up to the net one month. Now she has adsl :wink2:

The annoying thing about it was when I watched it, the cinema was filled with kids... Kids with short attention spans :oops: . I've watched it so many times now, I can recite most of it :sweat: . And I complain about the bags floating in the water. Physically, the water line in the bag should match up with the ocean level.. :happy:

i LOVED the whale part too!! Everytime my friends and i see that movie, we always imitate it. especially at the public pool when all the adults stare at us and give us that "damn teenagers" look. haha...

I was at the shopping centre, and they had finding nemo playing on every tv set, all synchronised. When the whale made it's whale noise, glass shook!

The rest of the film is interesting 'cuz of DoRy. She's just weird and funny. :yeah:

Compared to other Disney Films, this one ranks 2nd/3rd to Beauty and the Beast.

FN is such a great movie... truly for all ages. kids can definitely appreciate it, but so can adults. i found myself quite surprised at all the political innuendos it had. although i enjoyed lilo/stitch more, FN was definitely a fun experience. i even went out and bought a clownfish! of course, i named it nemo... but then it died and my dad secretly bought another one to try to replace it.. HA my mom told me xP

Finding nemo is my fav movie!!! I've watched it in Chinese and English. They've made a chinese song for the movie though...I dunno why they didn't make an english one...

I absolutely love Dory!!! she's soooo funny!!! I love it when she forgets everything after 5 seconds...haha hilarious! The bit where Marlin and Dory were captured by Bruce and gang was a little scary...(i get scared easily)

^___^ Oooh.. I LOVED that movie! Me only watched the English version (and the French one- in which I hardly understood) This is my favourite movie so far... it has everything a good movie needs; especially a lot of humour! The beginning was so sad though =( And then the rest of the parts were nice.. well mostly.
Haha, I liked Dory the best; just like the majority of people here. My favourite part was when she speaks 'Whale' :laughing: I found that part SO funny!
OH! And that 'riddle' she said to Marlin over and over... "What's small and orange and has white stripes?" (Or something like that) and then Marlin says "Me.. -_-" And he keeps saying that.. and shs says, "Wow, you're good" :laughing: ..I wanna go watch it again~

OMG that STUPID movie! I LOVE it so much!!!!
I've watched it like 10 million times and can't get sick of it. It makes me sick how much I love it.

One of my favorite parts not already mentioned was when the fishies initiated Nemo into "Tankhood"
"Nemo, you comer of orange and white, you come to Mt. Wannahockaloogie...."
Get it? Want to hock a loogie? hehe I didn't catch that till like the 3rd time I saw it.

Here's some useless trivia, I saw Monster's Inc. (also for the millionth time) and at the end when Sully takes Boo back to her room, she gets all excited and starts bringing him toys and stuff, one of the toys she brings him is a clownfish doll, totally reminds you of Nemo.

I saw it once and was dissappointed since I had heard so many good things about it. However, this probably had to do with the fact that I had about 4 hours of sleep the night before and I was drifting in and out of conciousness during the film.

i loved finding nemo! it was the cutest cartoon/film i've ever watched! i didn't want to watch it at first since im not really a big fan of cartoons, but my friends insisted so i just went along with them. and i wasn't disappointed! doree got me laughing so much that my stomach hurt. she's just so dumb and stupid.. and so mentally retarded! :laughing: and squirt (the turtle) was soooooooo cute! the story also made me realize the importance of family. indeed, you really need them in order to survive in this world.

Love this movie. Love Dory. But not just cos she's funny & bubbly & so positive all the time. It's cos' I have a memory similar to Dory...I will generally forget mosts things people tell me. Really! That bit when she listens to Marlin with all the baby turtle & says "Ohh, this is gonna be good, I can tell!"...was so embarrasing & funny to hear. I do that all the time.

Have another one to add. If you keep watching the credits scroll in Nemo, all the different characters swim across & do their own individual thing. Right at the end, Mike Wozowski from Monster's Inc. goes swimming along too. It totally took me by surprise.

Yes, those "mine, mine, mine..." birds are called seagulls. Sydney has alot of those birds on the beaches...especially where people have food to throw them.

Finding Nemo is a very funny and hilarious movie...i watched it twice. I like the shark. He appears to be big and mean but really he's a softy. I liked the part where he cried and said that he never knew his father.

I also liked Crush the turtle and his baby turtles...they are so cute!

On a separate but closely linked note :

Sadly, the movie just brought about a whole wave of interest in clown fish. Clown fish, as you would have already guessed from watching the movie, belong to the sea. As in SEA WATER. Read a report about how parents were buying them for their bratty kids and of course, no one had a clue how to look after the oh-so-cute Nemos in their house. They either died or just discarded them after the craze blew over.

It makes me sooo :-x when I read about such irresponsible behaviour.

PS. I love Finding Nemo as well. Have it on vcd and have watched it so many times, I've lost count.

this was an awesome movie! pixar never fails to amaze and create superb movies. dory was hilarious - ellen degeneres did an awesome job as the voice of dory - from the whale talk to the rambling to the forgetfulness. the movie and the talents of the actors deserves this ---> :thumbsup:

it's weird...the first time i saw it i didnt think it was that great....but the second time...it was hilarious! but then it was overplayed...people were showing it everywhere and it kinda got annoying
