F4 announces breakup? [Archive]

i jist read in a chinese newspaper that upon finishing their Fantasy Forever tour, F4 formally announced that they're breaking up. Ken's going for a solo album, Vanness is returning to the United States for awhile, Jerry's gonna work on his singing, and Vic's going to focus on school.
im not sure if this is 100% true since theres always rumors. are there any other f4 fans out there who know about this?

i've heard of this too, and i think it sounds reasonable, not just random senseless rumors. i don't think ken's voice is that great but out of the 4 people say he has the most talent since he can play guitar and write songs and stuff, so its logical for him to be the next one coming out with his solo cd. and zai zai's always wanted to concentrate on schoolwork...hehe good for him

well it wouldnt surprise me very much if they did breakup considering how much money they've already made and the numerous solo projects each group member is working on.

YES, it's confirmed, totally true......100%, that they'll be going in separate ways. If you want more info, you can read the articles relating to this issue at my website. The Chinese news is translated into English for English speaking fans.

i've heard this a while ago...n i never thought they'd split so fast tho....i don't realli want them to split, cuz then dey wuldn b "F4" nemore....i personally realli like F4, so it's kinda sad....but i guess these bands always split eventually..

yah... my taiwaness fren told mi tis news ydae... she said tis news rocked d taiwan fans.. dey tot d breakup was joking bud it was serious tis time... d main reason is jerry wanted d breakup as he could no longer work with cai zhi ping...

that is what they said, but i pray that they won't still! it breaks my heart to know that they're so unhappy though...i guess i'll try my best to be happy with whatever decision they make. after all, that is what being a true fan is all about. :(
this would make the 2nd band i love break up! :(

my friend who is pretty F4 obsessed said that they aren't.. F3 is just going to transfer to Ken's management company.

my mom read the chinese newspaper or something and she said that when jerry wasn't feeling well, the other f3 wouldn't ask how he was feeling? i also heard jerry was really tempermental and the members couldn't take it anymore. whatever happens.. best of luck to them

I have a feeling this would happen. Not that I'm psychic or anything. But the main reason why they're breaking up is because they don't get paid much for what they do. Their manager is getting a lot of the credit for the hard work the band is doing. Like concerts, advertisements, etc. It's not for the four of them at all. It's for their manager. And the reason why we keep hearing all this "breaking up" from F4 is because they want to get paid more from their manager and earn their fair share.

their manager from comic production angie tsai is a witch, after that jerry's controversial press conference in nov, she said f4 was expensive product that didn't sell well/make profit.. wtf? ya all the money goes to herself
i'm glad F4 (well F3) is leaving that mgt soon to join ken's

Ken's mgt team ? I didn't know Ken owns a mgt company. That's pretty cool. I think he's pretty hot as well :love:

no, not ken's OWN mgt, it's a management company that he's under

since the beginning, ken isn't on the same mgt as the rest of F4 guys

I didn't know that Ken's with another mgt company. Am not a big fan of their songs, etc, just find Ken pretty cool.

By the way, has anyone actually come across any pictures of his tattoos or piercings (other than his ears and nose!) ? Can't seem to find them on the web :crazy:

OH NO!! I can't belive it :( !!! And the only concert they ever did in the states was in Las Vegas and I didn't even get to see that!! Bummer!! If I ever though they would be breaking up I would for sure fork over the $300 to see them sing :oops: !! But at least the good thing that came out of this is Vaness coming back to the states!! Yay! He'll be living in LA!! Closer to me :love: !! well at least closer then when he was living in HK :roll: ...

no offense to f4 fans, but it's about time they broke up. i heard they were losing momentum/popularity for a long time.
they weren't that cute and they didn't sound that good either.
best of luck to ken tho on his solo career.

they still are pretty popular here in Manila ... but i think its about time they break up too .. but then, they would have solo careers and Taiwan would have to put up with 4 guys who cant sing ... so they're better off as a group .. lol

so does the group F4 still exist? long time ago..i already hear that they rarely go on shows together...it's all two by twos......but seriously....what's up with guys having long hairs these days? i am glad that vaness cut his...i mean there's no style to it like the other memebers at least....and i am glad vaness cut his..>!!!! and he has good compliments too!!!

Well I guess its an unofficial breakup....
I mean, they are 4 random people lumped together to act in a drama serial that became wildly successful....

So now, after the show (and a sequel that should never have happened) I guess its hard for them to keep together as a group, since they all seem to have different interests....
I mean, its not very realistic to expect them to act in dramas together all the time.....and i'm sure people would have pre-conceived notions about their characters in whatever script it is, just because the image of F4 in MG remains fixated in our minds....

hi roche!! do i sound like i am interested in F4? haha...actually i am more courious about them..cuz..one series brought them all fame just like that! i guess they would never have guessed that that would bring them such fame. but my friend told me last night that the anime is hella hella cute...it's like the main guy character loves no one but that gal..and it's hella sweet...like hella other gals like him but he only like his own gal right? yeah...ppl usually fall for those romantic stories...cuz it's touching and awwww.....how can there be a couple so perfect right???? well....i believe so...i remember back then "return pearl princess" bruoght fame to vicky zhao and ruby lin. and i thought that was romantic too and touching!!! but not as romantic the second time i watch it..but anyways...thanks for replying..ttyl
