Actually yea, howick and avondale is quite a far drive! Not sure how long, but too long heheh. Ah, so why did you choose a Bcom major and not continue with your engineering? I don't know about acceptance dates sorry! But it is a really long holiday like 3 or 4 months so as long as you get it before first sem starts you'll be sweet!

Yea its really tough finding a job at this time of the year, because most of them will be snatched up already! Mainly by highschoolers who tend to have less workload than us uni ones, and more time to go out and get it! Plus we were having exams during the peak job hunting season :dry:

Most people here are from Auckland tho! Everyone's been a little quiet lately however - exams, holiday trips etc.

But umm, NZ... it's a really nice safe country... Quite a large population of Asians. Especially in Auckland. I'd say maybe 20%+ are asians...

The weather in Auckland is unpredictable. It can rain, be sunny, and hail all in the same day... whatever season it may be. But generally on a good summer's day, the temp can go up to 23ish + in winter... the coldest I've ever felt here was 2 degrees.

Jay stuff... not very accessible. We have like 1 monopoly asian store that sells asian cds and stuff, but no clue about other Jay merchandise. Haven't come across any actually!
