Maybe I'm wrong.. but could this means that Jay has too many good things happening for him and so when composing new songs, his emotions will be limited to just 'good feelings'? As in Shi Jie Mo Ri (Armageddon) was written when Jay fell out of love, and his exact emotions and feelings then were being transformed into a sad song that tugged at the heartstrings. But now that things are going to be all swell for Jay (as foretell), Jay probably would have nothing much to seek inspirations from, deep within himself, when writing songs..?

Well... this is my personal opinion.... I dun think one's fate should be based on the signs they are cuz I dun find them reliable.... especially with the differents stars meeting together to determine one's fate. Well... this is my own personal viewpoint. I also think that there are more to life than stars and planets....


Besides.... I REALLY CAN'T IMAGINE Jay being just a member in a back stage crew while David's popularity keeps on growing... well... this is my own view point.... :blush: hope you guys dun mind if I dun find horoscopes very efficent and reliable to determine one's popularity, love life and well.... basically life....

I think with all the skill, talent and fame Jay currently has, he would never be a backstage worker. He would at the least be out of the music business and be composing songs for other people etc.

I think jay is doing a very good job of handling his popularity and stardom, and all the pressures and headaches that come with his craft. plus he is extremely talented, professional, generous and kind-hearted. given these, his star can only shine brighter... and more blessings are definitely bound his way :)

I also happen to be a huge david tao fan and no matter what, I think he's extremely talented too :happy: I really don't see him as jay's competitor. there's more than enough room for talented musicians and performers in the Chinese music scene.

as for the horoscopes - no offense, but who takes them seriously? :?

i feel that horoscope predictions should always be taken with a pinch of salt. i mean, come on, there are so many other people who share the same birthday as you, you can't expect every single person to face the same fates, can you?

sera's point about pain and failure being inspiration for emotional and deep-reaching songs is interesting...... i never thought about it that way before, and it sounds rather valid. however, jay usually writes the melodies, which i suppose would be less dependent on his emotions and experiences than, say, the lyrics, so i think he's safe in that sense :bleh:

Yeah, I think that what article meant was, he's going to be behind the scenes and not in the public eye anymore. Something like producing or directing.
And besides, fortune telling isnt always accurate. Sometimes, you have to make your own destiny and not just wait for it to come your way.

David's music and personality just don't really grab my attention the way Jay's quietness can. i actually dont think i would mind jay working backstage all that much... i mean i dont want him to overwork himself like andy lau/jacky chang have.... and plus, i love jay mainly because of his music... as long as he writes for the right ppl (and hopefully vincent fong will still do the lyrics kuz i think he's awesome with jay), i'll be happy... just need his music.
