There's something she said that really bugged me though.

During the 2002 commercial radio awards in HK, one segment was where one of the DJs was talking about the albums released that year and the way they're all different shapes and sizes. He showed his 'cabinet' of how he displayed the albums and he even had a goldfish bowl to put Jay's 8D album in (the special edition one with a T-Shirt, in a plastic case).

Well, later on Miriam won an award and she started talking about how she was happy with releasing her album in two halves, she then said it was better that releasing an album in a big pack to throw into a goldfish bowl. She said it in a tone that was a bit rude towards Jay's album. I don't know if it was a comment in general or specific to Jay but it annoyed me for a while! :?

shes very down to earth and although she seems cooooky/crazy sometimes its a good thing to be open enough to show your feelings and not be fake like most other artists now. i just watched an interview of hers and it made me sure i wasn't thinkly positively on the wrong person. but she's in her late 20s..28/29!! doesn't look it right?

i think that miriam is quite good. her last few albums weren't bad either and since she got that "most popular female award" ......she seems to be getting better and better.

miriam, yeah she's cool...i personally don't think her calibre of singing talent is as high as ppl like joey and kelly, but some of songs are really cool...
and yeah, she's very funy and down-to-earth...i really liked her movie love undercover.

I never use to like her (well...not think that highly ofher anyways) but in the past year, she's been coming out with some pretty good stuff and i do like her singing voice....and i agree she's one of those adorable stars who is so down to earth. she doesn't really care if she makes a fool of herself esp. at award shows where she'll just blub on stage because she's so overwhelmed....

totally agree! i think tt if possible she should try acting different characters other than the klutzy, average, funny, middle-class girl. she needs more challenging roles so as to improve on her acting. but then again, like all film industries, the hk producers just wanna make money, and her films are selling so why would they change anything?

Really liked some of the shows she has acted in. She is so expressive and has pretty much the same appeal Sammi has. Both look really cute in their movies.

when i first saw miriam yeung was when she starred in 'Taste of Love' as the character Candy trying to follow her dream than do what her father told her to do and the song that she sang in this was really good, suited her voice really well.
i cant remember it off my top of my heard but as i recall her voice was really sweet on it and the character itself too.

oh, i can't remember which award ceremony that i saw on TV but Miriam won this title 'best female....' she went onto the stage she always started crying as she didnt know what to say (awwww)

Yeah..christine, that would have been the JSG awards from last year...she was so shocked..but shes an emotional person anyways hehe. I felt so happy for her when she picked up the award and so moved to see how much it meant for her.

I also loved her character in the series 'Taste of Love'..it seemed to reflect her in real-life..always cheerful and adorable. I love her in movies though..so cute! :D

yes i saw this in the news too... i think its because they showed up at leo ku's concert...and miriam showed up in a concert of justin's and i think justin composed a song for miriam....
