Ron Ng + Bosco Wong - TVB Newbies!

Have you heard of them? Ron Ng and Bosco Wong? They were in the TVB series "Triumph in the Skies"...anyone who watched Hong Kong dramas (TVB) will know...I just think they're really cute...and unlike many TVB stars...I think these two newbies are very talented indeed...They kinda made me wanna become a pilot! Ahahaha...I know thats very dumb but anyway...I'm starting to like them almost as much as Jay...*gasp* :)

Yeah I've heard of Ron Ng and Bosco Wong, they were also in 'Find the Light', I think that was the first time I noticed them.

I also think they're very talented but too bad their role in 'Triumph in the Skies' wasn't very big, especially Bosco's.

Did Bosco play Chris? I know Ron was Issac... i liked the roles they had. Although it wasnt a big part, they looked good as a group and like a bunch of great friends...credit to the casting director hehe...

It was the first time i had seen Ron play a decent part (i remember him as cameos in earlier series) but Bosco (if he was Chris) was also in Aqua Heroes. His character there was sweet too and it was cute the way he tried to get Rain (his online wife) to change her mind.

They looked great in their pilot uniforms though! :D I guess Bosco, Ron and Sammul are amongst the next big TVB stars...

I agree with you jessca! They really look hot in their pilot uniforms! Yah I think TVB are promoting them...too bad they aren't really promoting Kenneth Chan..he was one of the S4 pilot people in "Triumph in the Skies"...he's like 30 so yah...kinda old! And yup, Bosco did play Chris.

I saw "Find the Light" just because of Ron and Bosco. Ron and Bosco were super cute in it! So was Shirley Yeung and Tavia Yeung. I'm glad TVB are promoting younger people...many of the "main" actors are like in their 30's, so its good to see some fresh faces...new actors with talent! ^_^

I thought his name was Kenneth Ma :? I think they're started giving him bigger roles now, like in 'Vigilante in a Mask' and 'The Driving Power' his roles were pretty big. I think he's much better at playing the bad guy roles. But I liked him so much in 'Triumph in the Skies' that everytime I see him play a bad guy, I don't really think of him as a bad guy.

kenneth ma was in "nine five gi june" the one where the king and the lady goes into the future, the really funny tv series...kenneth ma was the gay designer...hahaah!
Ron ng is really gorgeous, i watched "triumph in the sky" too! really good!
did u know that Ron Ng is a dancer and his 24 yrs old. his really funny^^ i just watched this interview with him on tvbj just then...so cute >.<!

They are way tooo cute. Ron Ng especially LOL. Bosco is okay looking. I liked them in "Fight The Light" ^^ Ron Ng is like soo cute. I agree. Two great assets to TVB.

Ron Ng and Bosco ARE gorgeous eh? I think Ron is more hot, but Bosco is more cute...see what I mean? Like if I had to pick, I think I would pick Ron over Bosco. But both have their own unique characteristics too. And yup, I saw that TVB Jade Starbiz interview. He was soooo cute! And I love guys that can dance...woot woot! :excited:

I remember Kenneth being in "Not Just A Pretty Face" too with Roger Kwok, Joey Yung, and Tiffany Lam. He played Tiffany's boyfriend right? He looked sooo serious and mature in their. Totally different from his rather timid and shy personality in Triumph in the Skies huh? But I guess that just shows he's a very versatile actor... :)

i'm a big fan of 'triumph in the skies' too ! (eventhough it got a little boring towards the end.. :? )...and i like ron and bosco (ron a little more !)
they're good looking and good actors ! (tvb really need some more young actors like them..hehe :) )..

Bosco, I believe is the best one out of all the newbies...he's my fav... :-) maybe cause he's so funny in real life. It doesnt hurt that he can act either... I'm not so sure I can say the same about Ron.... :D

Both are being promoted by TVB a lot. I like Bosco more because he can act way better than Ron. Ron only got the look.

i realised that every role that ron has take n up is very similar.. like initially hes the stubborn, careless, violent and angry character that through self development in the series, becomes this wiser kinder and gentler person...
bosco.. has different roles.. but i suppose he's always had the nice guy kinda role.. but hes still pretty good..

Bosco isn't a "newbie", he has been acting for TVB for a couple of years now. He just never played the "bigger" roles. But he got the award for best improved actor.

I like both I guess. Ron is so dark, too dark if you ask me.

ron is HOT, bosco is CUTE. bosco has that nasal voice. his voice is way unique.

oh bosco won the "improvement award" (i think, sorry if i am wrong) at the 38th TVB anniversary! congrats to him. i think he did great in "Wars of In-Laws". he was such a joker there. (((: that was when i noticed him.

i noticed ron from "triumph in the skies". bosco's role wasn't very big there so yup. i am watching "find the light" now. i know it's a very old show, but i think ron is way funny in that show!!! *giggles* :D

One thing that minds me a lot about Ron, he.. can't really act, not to mention singing. But I sitll love him!!!! :love: He is just .. HOT. Some expressions of him are stiff..

The only notable series from Ron is , Twin of Brothers, TITSkies, .. that's what I think. and.. that "The Acedemy". Surprisingly, I didn't watch it although Tavia and Ron are in it.. :sweat:

But I do agree Bosco is going to do great. He is lack of a little charisma compared to Ron, but he is doing well in series.. =)

I'm a big fan of Bosco. He can actually act and he's quite charismatic on screen. But I don't really like Ron Ng. His acting is a bit wooden and his singing is...:dry:.

Well I guess most Ron fans know that he started his singing career and even had a mini concert with guest appearances from Jade Kwan, Niki Chow, and buddy, Bosco. I think Ron is going to be focusing on his singing career for awhile. I am not sure but I kind of prefer him as an actor even though he did started out as a dancer. :oops:

As for Bosco, he's also going to be starting a singing career as well.. not sure about it either. :? Bosco will be under the same management as Ron and media are always saying that they'll be competing with each other but I heard from a Bosco interview that his style will be more rock.

So what do you guys think about Ron and Bosco's singing career?

His song is ok as regards to his voice, it's listenable.

He did get good results though didn't he?At the Jade solid gold awards, he got silver for best newcomer!Just coming behind Justin Lo and beating Kenny from Boys. I think I remember seeing one of his MV's where he was dancing.

Anyhow,after releasing 2 albums and recieving an award, I think he could poosibly be a singing star soon!:-)

Yeah, I was quite surprised that Ron would win an award! Not that I don't want him to but he seems reasonably new and it seemed so sudden.. The only song on his EP that I like is "Don't Blame Her".. :tongue:

yes, well, Jade Solid Gold IS a TVB production after all. and a lot of the times, TVB contract actors who venture into the music industry, is largely the idea of TVB as a means to help extend the careers of their actors. and to help give them a push, they usually give them some sort of award at their award ceremonies. I don't mean to say that he didn't deserve that newcomer award, but a lot of the times, these things are 'rigged.'
and didn't Nikki Chou get some award this year or last year too?

anyway, I myself prefer Ron 'the actor.' He really can't sing that well. :sweat:

I haven't heard Bosco sing yet. Sammul is okay sounding...isn't he releasing an album too? :?
oh and I think Raymond has the best vocals out of all the 'young guns of TVB.'
Too bad he isn't really interested in a singing career. I suppose it's a smart move on his part to focus on acting. ^^

I just read some news on Ron. He's filming a new drama right now called 男 人 之 苦 (translation: Mens' bitter or.. Men and bitterness?) Anyways, he has a kiss scene with Toby Leung (She use to be in this girl group and she's also been in movies, mvs etc).

Even the drama, Men in Pain finished playing in HK! I watched it and it was okay.. another one of those dramas that you just want to sit and enjoy if you have the spare time :wink2:

I believe both Ron and Sammul is currently busy filming for The Academy 2.. and from reading Sammul's blog, he's also busy with promoting for miscellaneous things.. :happy:
