What do you mean by the "new Tenson of the Z-Chen neweset cd's"? Are you trying to say Tension and Z-Chen's cds? And how do you encourage discussion when you have no views on the songs that you have listened to so far? If i open a thread everytime i listen to a new album, i would have started tons of thread already.

Tension's new CD is called, "Planet Love." I think it's giving me a good first impression. I usually take a bit of time to adapt to a CD .. even for Ye Hui Mei. I skimmed through the tracks and found them fairly good.

I realllly like this CD! It has a variety of music which really suits Tension, upbeat, ballads which include those vocal skills.. I love it all.

Upbeat tracks are like #1, where they have some English lyrics that say move your body to the beat etc. # 2 - 4 are ballads, I felt #4 gave me the same feeling as, She's havin my baby, perhaps there's a similarity in the beat. #5 again, is an upbeat one, I didn't think this one was too good, probably because I skimmed past through it. #6-7 are really nice ballads. #8 has a cool flow with the melody, has some weird instruments going on.

In conclusion, great cd man! David Tao and Tension did a great job.

Okay, I'm going to edit the title to Tension's Planet Love Album. And let's drop the Z.Chen in this thread.

spydogg, my advise to you is be specific with your title. YOur title is not very informative and it won't invite people to join the discussion. And if you're about to make a thread for an album by other artist, we expect you to write a well-thought review of the album first. On the other hand, your first post is too uninformative and bland. You can just go to Tension's thread directed by catseyes instead.

Anyway, since Pugwash already did your part, I'm going to leave this thread open and we can have a discussion about the album in here.

No. I haven't had the chance to listen to album. But i did have the chance to see the backstory of Tension while doing the 'Planet Love' MV. :D Is choiceeeeee!
Dammmmmmm, was it Jimmy? He's the one who did the rap bit ah? Is pretty good.
But i do not know any other songs, except for that. Becoz' i'm not even sure...
is it out yet??!! o_0? (I don't know if it's out in New Zealand yet..)

yeah "planet love" was a pretty awesome album...i really like the album alot...Tension did a good job although it book them to make this CD than the 2nd album. still I think it's better than the 2nd album...

em... in my opinion i think tension's previous albums are much better than planet love.. i dunno why i dun really like this album.. i only like some of the songs here..

not like 'gotta b your man' album i love almost all of the songs inside..

i was finally able to DL "planet love"! :) and yeah, i agree w/ you iron_box. i really like "gotta be your man" better than "planet love". the upbeat songs in "gotta be your man" are so nice! and i think it has got more edge to it than "planet love". IMO, the songs in "planet love" are kinda mellow and more mainstream r&b ballads. my favourite sng on the cd would be "baby girl" :happy:
but nonetheless, tension did a pretty good job! the vocals are really smooth and groovin´ :yeah:

sad that they didn't do much acapella for this new album this time which they did an acapella for 'amazing grace' in their previous album but i like the song compose by david, they are 'goodbye shi ming tian de hello' kind of world music and 'planet love' can be heard on radio. Brian compose 2 songs in this album 'missing you' and 'she's the one' nice try..but overall it is a nice album. :)
