阿杜最新專輯《哈囉》，力邀音樂才子周杰倫（Jay）寫歌，雖然一首歌要價高達二十萬元，且買主身在新加坡 ，但Jay「售後服務」做得好，將做好的歌專機送達！
A-Do's newest album "Hello", have one song that Jay written. Even though the price of this song is not low, and A-Do being in Singapore, Jay did his "after service" well. Especially sent the finished song by plane!

阿杜新專輯《哈囉》最新一波主打歌《退讓》，作者為Jay，卻很意外地是一首很沒Jay味道的歌，像是替阿 杜量身訂做。事實上，這首歌對阿杜來說，像是「天上掉下來的禮物」。
A-Do's new album "Hello" themesong "Tui Rang (Give way)" is surprisingly a song without Jay's style, like it is especially tailor-made for A-Do. In actual fact, this song to A-Do is like 'a fallen present from above'.

「有一回我在大陸表演遇到Jay，很誠意地跟他邀歌，沒想到他真的答應了。」阿杜自認口才不好，也知道跟J ay邀歌的人很多，雖然提出請求，卻不確定Jay有時間幫忙。
"Once performing in China i met Jay, and sincerely requested him to write me a song. Surprisingly he said yes" A-do admits that he's not a talker, and also knows that a lot of people have requested Jay to write songs. Even though he asked, but is still not sure whether Jay would help.

沒想到，Jay很認真，默默把《退讓》詞曲弄好，但當時阿杜人在新加坡，無法試唱，Jay腦筋動得快，立刻 將錄好的Demo帶以航空快遞送到新加坡，Jay的熱情，用錢也買不到！
Out of my surprise, Jay was very enthusiastic, quietly finished the lyrics and song for "Tui Rang". But at that time A-Do was in Singapore, so cannot try sing the song. But Jay's brain worked quick, he sent the recorded demo using express airmail to Singapore. Jay's kindness cannot be bought using money!

Hehehe...A very kind act was done by Jay, sending the demo-tape through air-mail. And amazingly, he knows A-Do's style as well and composes a song that is suitable for him.
I want to listen to the song...I'm so curious....

Awwww :love: ...That's so very nice of him...he even bothered going to Singapore just to give that song to him!!!! *sigh* A-Do must be really lucky to have Jay as his composer....At least he wasn't like the others that would prioritize themselves first rather than other's necessities when you have already promised them... :wink2:

yes! that's so kind of jay. and i think it's like a challenge for jay to write songs for a-do since it's a-do's style is so much different form the songs that jay usually writes. hmm... jay is just good.
hope it will stop ppl from saying that he is just selling attitudes and nothing else.

I agree the song doesn't sound Jay but very A Do. :happy: I've read in an interview once that he plans to separate his style whenever he would write for other artists. He tried on A Do's shoes to get inspiration,perhaps, and succeded well. :D

I think when it comes to writing songs, may it be for himself or other artists, Jay would always be enthusiastic. And I also think he has big respect for A Do, 'cause even though he was overly busy at that time, he managed to came up with a wonderful A Do tune and deliver it ASAP.

Yea! i heard the song! It's aint like the normal Jay's style. could say it's much more simple but still great at the same time! It's slow and definitely fits the erm.. sad voice [???] A-do has!

sound so similar! At first glance of da lyrics, an jing came into my mind! Haha, it just caught my attention and feel like sharing it. Yep!

thnx for the translation...awww Jay is so kind! He actually wrote a-do's theme song? thats kinda funny since its the theme song of the album and getting some1 else to write it...maybe its just me?

actually, no, hellokitty... jay didn't write a-do's theme song... 主打歌 is actually just a hit song. like "yi fu zhi ming" was the first hit song off the Ye Hui Mei album for jay.

knock, cool similarities that you picked out. :happy: and what interesting is that the lyrics for "tui rang" are penned by vincent fang, whereas "an jing" is written by jay himself.

sabriel, this track has been uploaded for the DL Pass-holders some time ago. i see that phyxius has provided a link to the MV. if i have some time, i'll upload the mp3 in that same thread in Downloads & Links so that people who aren't in DL Pass-holders can take a listen. :)
