Forgive if I had mistaken but I believe she's the lead actress in the series called "Dolphin's Bay"...Yes, her voice is good (apart from all other artists, I'll grade her as A+....she's quite good yah know...) Anyway, one of her songs is an english song called "Journey"...it's in English, and mind you, she doesn't have accent...just fluent English...

one of her new songs, i think it's called "over the rainbow" sounds a lot like an SHE song or a song by another artist. also..she's only 40 kg!! that's around 90 pounds!! what! if i sat on her all her bones would crush into powder.

i think she's good!! ok to be hoenst i'm usually biased against actors/actresses who become singers.. but i realised that she does sing very well.. and that she was supposed to be a singer initially (cos she won some singing contest) but due to certain reasons she was unable to record her first album so she tried some acting in the meantime.. in many ways she kinda reminds me of vivian hsu.. with a better voice of course.. so far all the songs i've heard from her on tv are really not bad..

I love Zhang Shao Han. She's not only a pretty good actress but she's a real singer. I think she's one of those singer with a real decent voice. NOt many Taiwanese singer has decent one. And as mentioned by dazzlete, she's just not another pretty singer without talent. She won singing competition before. So I respect her for her talent.

I love her song "Yi Shi de Mei Hao"..... the soundtrack of Dolphin Bay. ANd I've heard 2 songs from her album Track#2 and "Wo de qui ai"... I think both of the songs are nice and catchy. I'm so mezmerized by her clear voice. My feeling says that she has quite a bright future in her singing career. ^_^

her chinese is very taiwanese sounding.. it doesn't have any foreign accent attached to it.. it's quite easy to tell if a Chinese artiste has a Western background even if they are proficient in Chinese.. for example it's not hard to tell that people like Jay are born and bred in Taiwan unlike people like David Tao or Lee Hom who grew up in Western backgrounds though all are considered proficient in Chinese.. hmm.. maybe she managed to get the best of both worlds?

and about her living in Singapore, somehow i kinda doubt that.. (unless you have official sources!) cos i saw her host a segment on Wan Quan Yu Le before showing places in Singapore and the way she talked about the place was as if it was her first time exploring the place

well, frankly, her voice doesn't sound very outstanding to me. it's not bad, but not one of those voices that you'll recognize immediately, if you turn on the radio. as for her acting skills, well, i have to say that i didn't like her particularily in mvp qing ren, but that may be due to the fact that i didn't like most of the characters (other than gao xing... he was incredibly hilarious :happy: ) and the story didn't suit me either. but i've changed my mind, ever since i saw her on "dolphin's bay" recently. it's such a great series, the plot is great, and so are most of the characters. she did a good job there, and i could see that she has improved quite alot in terms of acting.

Hmmm when I first saw her on MVP Qing Ren I thought she resembled Vicki Zhao a lot.

I think her album "Over The Rainbow" is pretty good as a debut album. I would rate the album 7.5/10. There are some really nice songs in the album and her voice resembled those Disney's cartoon singer. Very clear and powerful.

I like most song in her album. I would rate Yu Yan as the nicest song of all. I really like the beat and the chorus. And I think the way her voice breaks in the chorus was very nice. Reminds me of Sun Yan Zi's. And the other nice songs would be "Wo de Zui Ai", "Yi Se de Mei Hao", "Yu Hou", "Tian Bian", "Na Han" and "Journey", and the classic "Over the Rainbow" was quite nice. BUt I think she doesn't really sing it too well, though. Lack of vibration on the "Some.... where... over the rainbow...."

vinka, according to her fansite, her height is 158 cm and weighs 35 kg. I would say that's very underweight!!!

I don't think she's pretty, but she's nice looking. She has this naive look. ANd this look has gotten her several nice roles in TV dramas.

she lives in singapore before when she is very small and i saw from a report(think is from u-weekly) she got study a short while in singapore after that she went to canada to study and after that she lives in taiwan that's why she can speak chinese and english well.

i was really surprised that zhang shao han can SING, as opposed to a lot of other actors/actresses who start off in tv and then switchover. i really like her voice, and it's surprisingly powerful considering her size (as others mentioned).

does anyone know anything about her videos for "dou zhi yin wei ni" and "wo de zui ai"? the video for "dou zhi yin wei ni" was really...odd and artsy. i didn't get it, especially since my chinese skills are virtually nonexistent. anyone know what she says throughout the video? and does she actually play guitar (she has a guitar in the video for "wo de zui ai")?

Her new album, Pandora, is ridiculously good. If you haven't bought it already, you should at least sample her mp3s, AND THEN BUY IT! Its just that good. Some note worthy songs are 1) yin xing de chi pang, 3) xiang shui bai he, 8) kou dai de tian kong, as well as 10) xi huan ni mei dao li.

Number 8 is my favorite song on this album though, very beautiful.
