Since 8th Dimension, Jay's last year album THM sold 360000 copies. Making a new record for the best selling CD. Because 8D did not receive anything at last year's golden melody award, Jay's new year resolution is "Hoping to get Best producer award this year!"

This time Alfa surely signed up for YHM (you can sign up for the Golden Melody Award). But the thing that the Little Heavenly King minds most about is that YHM winning the best producer or best album. After all, that shows the point of the whole album.

I wish him all the best! Though there are tough competitors coming up with great albums too, Im confident tt Jay will get what he want. Jay is just so modest! Or maybe the GMA award reallie meant a great thing to him, because of the loss from 8d, he's already shy. Never mind Jay! YHM is fabulous, zan, great, awesome... whatever! It's da best!

I can't believe 8D didn't win the award.....it's going to make jay think that his album was useless.....well...maybe he wouldn't think that way.....but.....i'm sure jay will win it for YHM.......

I think he deserves the award the most but i tink we fans would like him to know that..award or no award, he'll always be the best in our hearts. Err..rite guys? Of course it's better to win the award...all of us will be supporting him all the way. Awards don't judge an artist's works. It's the fans and of course the work itself. Heck, I don't know what I'm talking about but the point is...Even though 8D didnt win the award (who did anyway?), it doesn't mean it's a lousy album.

Ofcourse his 5th album will be very successfull i know for sure...and the award thing.....for me i really don't care that jay is winning tons of awards or not... as long as he's still making some good music for all of us to listen to...an award is not everything for the singer...but still...it'll be good though if he won!!!
i know that he'll make it this year...coz ye hui mei is the best...wish him a very good luck though!!

thanx for the news :) Jay's album is a great hit to the market everytime he has one...but a disappointment of last yr, hope tis yr Jay could won more awards for YHM album..all the best ! sometime was wondering if the judges dun give Jay to get the awards on purpose...

well...stars always say that awards doesn't matter that much to them anyways..does it? maybe for others it does matter..but even if jay didn't receive an award it doesn't matter cuz everyone knows his sucess..so there's no need to prove that he has done a good job. 8D is obviously good! maybe david tao bribe the judges..but for sho the fifth album is gonna be good! no doubt! i agree with jkin13 man...maybe the judges didn't give jay the award on purpose...cuz THEY ARE JEALOUS!! they know jay is confident in his music..and they didn't want jay to get what he wanted..well...without that piece of metal..jay will still remain the best..as all can see..that did stop his album from best selling..he remains the king of pop..
