Everyone did a great job, so many talents here!
I want to give an honorable mention to entry 3 by Jam. While many of the votes went to the best looking one, alot of members mentioned how #3 captured the real essence of Ye Hui Mei, and I couldn't agree more. But anyways, that's just my opinion.

Not to rain of MoUsEy's parade or anything, her entry was truly beautiful.
And how can you have a contest without a prize??!!

Well we wanted only people who were sincere, and not motivated by greed to participate. So we never said there was a prize. But there is!
And I'll leave it to ashley, who's graciously providing the prize, to announce it next.

I didn't comment after I had voted, partly because I had only decided hours before the poll closed, and also, most of my views have already been echoed by some of our other members.

That said, I'm terribly honoured to have been the first to see both MoUsEy's and Jam's entries (well because both of them PM'ed their submissions to me). :D

MoUsEy: Your design stood out for me from the first time i scanned through the 10 entries. The brighness and colour scheme of the cover cought my eye, admittedly, abit more than mine hehe :blush:. Also, I've always liked the grungy feel to any graphics and the photoshop brushes were put to good use here. To top it all off the barcode and the licence agreement at the bottom of the back cov, very professional and complete! So you got my vote!

Jam: I found your's interesting as well, mainly because of the pictures you used. Especially, the back cover with the antique gramaphone, I thought the cropping of the pic was well done. And there is a real Yeh Hui Mei feel to it.

Also not to be ignored, the great work from all the other entries. We submitted our best and all deserve a pat on the back! You guys did great work :yeah:
