Hi,

I am thinking about coming this summer to visit with some friends. There will be a small group of white people from the States. But since I was born in Taiwan and speak enough broken Mandarine, I will have the dubious pleasure of being the tour guide even though I know close to nothing about Taiwan no more.

I don't know why we're doing this because everyone told me it will be hot as hell. How hot does it get over there during the summer exactly? I like to avoid the summer, but summer is when everyone has time off.

Okay, what are some good beaches and mountains to go to? We're not big city people, but I am sure we'll walk around the night markets. Are there fun beaches and tall mountains for site seeing?

Thanks!

Hold on.. What dates are you looking at??? If it's in the next few months, it's no summer at all! It's autumn/winter! Summer in Taiwan is in the months june-aug.. :)

I don't know exact date yet. That's up in the air.

I'm most likely going to go to back to Taiwan in the summer too! I haven't been back in 10 years -_- Just got my green card today!!

There is one place called like Ah Li Shan or something like that, and its really nice according to my parents. They went back last summer and visited there.

haha....nevermind. didn't see the previous post.

Im planning for my trip to Taiwan as well,
A free and easy thing..which means, I've have to search for my Hotels and places to go.
So any suggestion,i guess i'll be living in Taipei.
I need place to visit and local delicious food to taste on..any idea?
