周杰倫的「龍拳」即將出現咬字清晰版！去年他因「口齒不清」錯失大陸中央電視台除夕「春節聯歡晚會」演出機 會，這次決定接受央視要求，特地重錄了現場對嘴的伴唱帶。
Jay's 'Long Quan' is gonna have a clear version! Last year because of his 'mumbling', he missed the chance to perform at the China's CTTV "New Year Party". This time he was accepted of CTTV and was decided to re-record his lip synch tape. (Before there was an article about CTTV sent Jay's demo tape back coz they think it has too much mumbling)

央視一年一度號稱有10幾億觀眾收看的重頭大戲「春節聯歡晚會」，日前出席藝人名單正式出爐，周杰倫、阿杜 、莫文蔚、齊秦已確定將出席演唱，不過，唯獨周杰倫雖然再度受到邀請，但被央視要求重錄現場對嘴伴唱帶，因 為他們還是認為他「口齒不清」！
CTTV's New Year Party has about 10 billions ppl watching each year. These artists: Jay, A-Do, Karen Mok and this guy are sure to perform, but Jay was the only one to be asked to re-record the demo tape, as they still felt that he mumbled, even though they invited Jay this year.

去年春節晚會原有意邀請周杰倫參加，但央視高層聽過他的歌曲後，認為杰倫咬字不清，會影響演唱效果，杰倫最 後因此遺憾未能入選。今年杰倫先後在北京、上海成功開了大型演唱會後，因人氣實在太旺而再度被列為邀約人選 ，但央視晚會相關負責人反覆聽了他的CD後，依舊一致認為他咬字不清，擔心廣大觀眾會聽不懂，決定要求他重 錄現場對嘴的伴唱帶。

o attend because of this reason. This year after his successful concerts in Beijing, Shanghai he was invited because of his popularity. But CCTV's manager, after hearing his CD over and over, still felt he mumbled, worried the fans will not understand him, he was asked to re-record the tape.

昨晚人在泰國舉辦演唱會的杰倫，透過電話證實要重錄春節晚會將演唱的「龍拳」現場對嘴伴唱帶，這次只是應央 視要求重錄，他表示絕不擔心自己平時的演唱風格有什麼口齒不清的問題，因為不但廣大內地歌迷就愛他這種調調 ，連籃球國寶姚明都鼓勵他「嗯～口齒是不太清楚，但請你繼續這樣口齒不清，因為這才是你！」
Jay, who was holding his concert in Thailand, confirmed that he is going to perform 'Long Quan' through the phone. About CTTV asking him to re-record, he said that he is not worried about his performing style, let alone the problem of mumbling. Because not only fans like this style, even b-ball player Yao Ming encouraged him :"Yea, there's mumbling, but please keep mumbling, because that is you"! *nod in agreement*

hahahha. I think it's alright! I heard long quan so many times and I never felt he mumbled. i think he mumbles more in other songs...esp in slow songs. He pronounced the words quite clearly to me! So what's the company's problem....I dunno. but if jay would get a chance to perform if he re-recorded, i would support his new clear version! but if I were to choose between mumbled or clear, i would choose mumbled :D heheheh. i like it. it's his style.

Oh my goodness, could they just drop this mumbling thing? The fans doesn't even care whether Jay hums or mumbles or sings or whatever. As long as he perform on the stage, everyone would be carried away by his rich music and his awesome performance. And I do agree that Jay needs to maintain his mumbling style. He could cut down on it, but don't totally eliminate it. Especially for a rap song. I really don't like a rap song with the clear pronounciation (reminds me of Jacky Cheung's Suan Ming). It will sound lousy.

i agree with yao ming! jay should keep his style because it's pointless to change yourself just to fulfill others' expectations of you. mumbling has always been a characteristic of jay and he should be allowed to perform that way. and i don't agree with the part about jay missing out because he didn't get to participate in this function last year ... it's more like they missed out because they couldn't bear with a little bit of imperfection!! no one is perfect. jay's popularity and influence is hard not to notice and they should just accept him for who he is ... it's a little bit pushing it to request that he sings clearer if he wants a chance to perform :-x as vunsin said ... take it or leave it!!! screw them!! jay doesnt need them :-x

I think it's very tasteless how the CCTV's staff view an artiste. They think they can just ask Jay to change his style however they want? And they claimed it's for the benefits of the audience? And 'the audience' as in fans? What were they thinking? If it's Jay's fans, then of course it's the style that drew them to him. I don't see any reason to change that style at all. Music is supposed to be a universal language and there isn't supposed to be any fixed style on how you should express your music. That's why we have different genres! Gah, stupid idiotic producers!

I love it when he mumbles :) Although i'm not Chinese and sometimes it's hard for me to understand what he sings, but that's not the reason for making new versions of every song he sings. I'm not lazy, i can look at the lyrics, read it, translate it, learn it, whatever!
